It is located in a quiet quiet spot in Taksim Park and at the very center of the city

Great hotel, great location! The staff is top notch. Everything was just amazing. To begin with, the hotel is located next to Taksim Square, so you can calmly walk along the famous Istiklal Street in the evening or in the afternoon along which the famous tram runs. We walked around everything and realized that the location of our hotel is perfect. We were in the quarantine period, when all restaurants and cafes were closed and it was possible to take out. At the same time, the restaurants worked in the hotel, the cuisine is good, I recommend it.

Luxury hotel with great facilities, can't be compared to other 5* hotels in Taksim area. The reason for 4* rating is that tonight is the Champions league quarterfinals and the hotel isn't subscribed to paid matches services. When asked the manager he said its their policy, and I may go to bars nearby. Very disappointed, I won't stay back again in football season.

Most elegant and worth staying place when in Istanbul and that too with a walking distance from taksim square and closest accessibility to the European side bay bridge in Istanbul. The room size and the well efficient staff made our stay most effective and also not to forget that they tried their best to give us vegetrian options for breakfast too

-Very well located: The hotel is situated in the heart of taksim, few minutes away walking from the Istiklal street and Taksim metro station. You can take 1 tramway T1 and be at Sultan Ahmet square in less then 30 minutes or take Uber or public transportation in the other direction to the bosphorus places.
- Highly friendly and service oriented staff
- Very good pool, gym and SPA
- Rich breakfast buffet: The chef can even live-cook your breakfast for you.
- Carefully designed taking care of little details to satisfy passengers
- High security: sometimes it gets a little annoying that everytime you re-enter you must be re-scanned as if you are at an airport gate. However it feels safe.

Best breakfast I ever had in any hotel and I m traveling on a weekly base for work. Spacious clean rooms. Well located, 2 steps away from taksim square. Take the pedestrian bridge next to the hotel to cross the boulevard and to reach Giza park and taksim. From taksim you can take the metro to the old city or you can follow estiklal street, at the end you have numerous restaurants, from where you go down direction Bosporus. From there you have a nice view on the city, bridges with fishermen passing the sea and in the back the old city. To do during sunset

It's a old hotel. Need new look. Not at all at standards of Grand Hyatt. I was quite disappointed. Thought of better amenities and facilities. But a very basic hotel.
Female staff was not available for spa and hamam. We had a early morning flight and Breakfast opened late. Reception said time for breakfast is 6.30 am and people responsible to serve said it is 7.am.

During the Covid-19 period, it is really a great delicacy that we open the door to healthcare professionals. In addition, disinfectant products used in hotel cleaning are effective and quality

Grand Hyatt Istanbul is a very beautiful and modern hotel. It is worth staying in terms of its location and architecture.

Hotel is big only by name.Dirty towels in the bath room.We spoke to the front desk but they must forgot to make them chanded.
Mattress is way too soft its feel like you sleep on inflatable sofa.
Table on the restaurant veranda is sticky from spilled soft drinks so we was have to change few tables until we have found the clean one.Interner is turned off immediately after you have been checked out from the system...thankfully personal helped to recheck to the WiFi.
Elevator card system looks like from the stone age.
Good side is -nice location ...and personal is helpful but management need to make a lot of improvement to bring it back to the standard that Hayatt announce!

The location is very close to the square because of the easy transportation facilities. Employees of the polite and friendly dishes of the standard five star hotels are made more carefully used rooms and clean

The place is nice and has a very excellent location, their breakfast has alot of varieties. Their staff can be more friendlier and their bed mattresses are horrible and uncomfortable at all.

Very rude receptionist! He treated us very very bad, I am totally disappointed with Grand Hayat which was my favorite company . Will never stay in again .

Very nice hotel, the only issue was that some staff were a little rude. We had booked a private van through the hotel and our pick up was late. I tryed to explain to the man on the front desk that I'm just wondering if our pick up was on the way. We totally got shocked from his response.
He first told us there is nothing showing on the system of any booking, hasn't been confirmed, and making me believe that I had to clarify to them about confirmation.
Storry cut short, so in the end everything was sorted out, our pick up was just late and the van was ready to go, everything was under control.
It is common in Turkey of the communication barrier you have with them. If they don't won't to understand you they will just get aggressive.
All the other workers were fabulous, just one stood out of the rest.

It's a local hotel for us. Nice service for a premium price.

Excellent location and great staff, very helpful and speaks English

The room is not as big as most grand hyatt but very cosy. Near centre of taksim but secluded enough to ensure privacy and peace & quiet.

Didnt try out the pool because of the cold but looks inviting enough.

Customer service was also very accomodating. They booked a taxi for my family to the airport with perhaps the friendliest and nicest taxi driver ever.

The rooms are large and comfortable, with a very pleasant detail of blackout curtains. The meals were delicious, the service very good.
