Staffs are friendly ONLY TO WESTERNERS.

Staffs are friendly ONLY TO WESTERNERS.
They are always ready to give service to them, but for easterners, we should ask first and then they give service.

Waited around 30 min to check in because room was not ready. They stole my time and staffs kept saying they were checking final inspection.

Room conditions and water quality are terrible even though I stayed in a club room.

Service was also bad. Staffs are checking my room number again with suspection after we enjoyed club lounge. It is okay they check my room number when we enter the club lounge. But that behavior really makes me embarrassed.

If you are not westerners, I really dont reccomennd here. Staffs are friendly only to westerners.

Because of traffic jam, it is hard to move other spots and atmosphere is also bad.

The worst hotel i have ever stayed.
Never stay hyatt again.

This is my favorite hotel in Bangkok for the following reasons :

1. Location - cannot be beat. Walking distance to great shopping and attractions . Direct access to BTS Skytrain

2. Dining - Excellent room service at fair prices . Erawan Tea Room is not to be missed and it's located inside the hotel ! All you care to eat is served a la carte in the evenings. Also connected to hotel is a Jade Palace for dim sum and in the basement a super secret Sushi Omakase restaurant that rivals the very best of Tokyo.

3. Service is caring , personal and always consistent. If you are a Globalist with Hyatt they honor the program very well. Keeps me coming back for sure . Even if your not a Hyatt member I cannot imagine the service being anything less than extraordinary.

4. Rooms are luxurious and modern but also keep to the Thai theme. Usually chain hotels can have beautiful but boring rooms. You won't say the same here. This hotel is very unique.

5. Everything works. Showers are great and have good pressure. Rooms cool down easily and the cleanliness is as good as it gets.

Looking forward to my next trip in a few weeks !

Very stylish upscale hotel. As I have been able to experience at all Hyatt hotels worldwide, the exclusivity as well as the satisfaction of the guest is a top priority. Despite the size and thus the high number of guests, the hotel manages to give the guest a familiar and individual feeling.
The entire hotel staff, as well as the management my best thanks for a few carefree days in Bangkok.

I've been staying at this hotel for more than 25 years and it is always good,

New exec lounge is excellent

Lobby restaurant buffet is high quality and can meet nearly every food preference

Italian restaurant/bar on LL is both good fun and, later in the evening, good fun

Just next door is an excellent shopping center (and for those who need it a McDonalds)

I like the location and lover the people and this hotel

While there are newer and flashier places in Bangkok I'll keep going back to the Erawan

The Dining Room's (all-you-can-eat) foie gras buffet is a rarity in today's global political landscape. For me it is a bargain simply because I can easily consume a half kilo per visit, which is roughly $60 in raw protein. Savor the succulent meat butter as it dissolves on your tongue. While in Asia, if you do not seek out the (all-you-can-eat) Foie Gras buffets you're not my type of company. This buffet is comparable or arguably exceeds Vegas buffets. In the western economies, animal rights activists are total buzz kills.

Convenient in the center of the city, but soundproofed and air so bad that I don't want to go to the outdoor swimming pool. If a swimming pool is an important factor in choosing a hotel, it is a good idea. Breakfast is ok.

One of the best place to be in Bangkok, always fancy and cozy, but with a nice old charme touch. The organization is very professional and kind to satisfy every need. Excellent location to explore Bangkok and is Sukumvit

I'm a loyal customer of Hyatt. Regardless where my destination, Hyatt is my first choice of stay. Nothing beats staying with Hyatt - feels like being home. Workers in Hyatt Erawan are very friendly & helpful. Your needs are generally fulfilled, and questions being answered. Everything done nicely for u. And it's strategically located, whether you are heading to Central Embassy, Siam Paragon, Central World, Pratunam, or MBK, it's just within walking distance. Plus only less than 5mins walk to Chit Lom & Ratchadamri Station (11mins away to Iconsiam).

The rooms are new and luxurious, and the equipment is all available. The sockets in the room are multi-purpose porous sockets, and there are quite a few, no need to prepare additional adapters. The bathroom is also very adequate, so you can fully relax in the shower or bath. There are also ironing boards and steam irons in the room. You can iron your clothes at any time during your business trip. The buffet-style breakfast is generally not rich and varied, but it is also delicious and delicious. Unfortunately, there seems to be no coffee. The overall service is in place. Very worth visiting.

Elegant and posh. Friendly staff, spacious room with all amenities. Also gave a phone with local network to use internet and calling. Food doesn't match the rest of the standards though, especially from the lounge. Clean and nice environment. Has residential spa, and access to pool, sauna...

One of my favourite hotels in Bangkok! Besides the great Siam Kempinski, Grand Hyatt Erawan is one hotel i like.

Likes:
1. The extensive buffet breakfast spread. Nothing perks me up in the morning like a full breakfast spread does! Especially love the fresh cut fruits, live station for eggs and noodles and pastries!
2. Location. You really cannot fault being so centrally located.
3. Room. Its not about the room size nor how comfy the beds are. Everything just fits so nicely. Love the shower!
