Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok Review

Not as grand as one might expect. Don't know how to make a cappuccino, entry from its locked at 9am on a Saturday. Why?
Lobby has some nice design elements but the lighting voices are spoiled somewhat by the dirty windows. The massive main entry windows are beautiful and could let in a beautiful natural exterior light but they aren't maintained to the same level as the interior so the light entering through them is discolored and therefore discolors all of the design elements inside the main haul. Some elements are eerily post apocalyptic in appearance. Grand old wood decide with modern sculptures of concrete plus the discolored light painting everything, like something out of a Geiger piece.

It is a hotel that has grown and dedicated all the time to welcome guests.

Another wonderful staff. As always the staff are super attentive to details and the view at breakfast is second to none.

Prime Location, great view and convenient access to city center. But the room is a bit old and not so easy to access from parking lot.

Erawan shrine is on the grounds. So it was very jarring and contrasting to see this luxury hotel with a buddhist shrine on its main corner

Buffet lunch highly recommended. Not cheap not good value.

So lucky to be able to stay here for the first part of our Thailand adventure, and have a luxurious retreat to offset the excitement of the city. Best shower ever! Quick access to the sky train, which makes getting around easy, in combination with taxis, tuk tuks, and boats. The bell crew was especially helpful with tips and tricks - street breakfast nearby, transportation, etc. Wish we'd discovered the pool deck earlier!

Classic hotel with super convenient location if you are traveling without a car. Traffic around here is terrible to grab a cab or Uber, but good for walking.
Staffs are incredibly nice, and room is spacious with classic design.

We went for dinner to the Italian restaurant , we did not enjoy it.

5 Star Hotel in the vibrant center of Bangkok. Must have to see this.

Was there for a conference event that included catered meals. Hotel was clean and posh. Meals were of good quality and taste despite mass cooking. Wished that the toilets had bidet sprays.

This is a luxury and expensive hotel but the hotel doesn t seem to care about customers health and safety concerning PM 2.5 issue. The hotel is located in the middle of one of most polluted areas but yet has any air purifier installed, especially in the place that needed most like the fitness. Totally disappointed.

Attended the wedding reception there and it is a perfect place for this kind of event.

A very good five star hotel in Bangkok. The location is convenient, the staff service is good and friendly, and the hotel facilities are very good. It is very convenient to go shopping and eating. Remember to go to the four-faced Buddha next to the room! I will come twice a year!

Please have breakfast. Never eat outside at that price.

First time here. Great view (police hospital) pretty quiet, too many mirrors, convenient for out going made me exercise a lot only one thing disappointed me. The cleaner doesn t clean the trash and leave the bags (Food and etc ) all time i am stayed.

The transportation is very convenient, surrounded by many shopping malls and night markets, just a short walk away. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is still very clean and the service is very good. Breakfast at the hotel is acceptable.

The restaurant is good and have a selection of good cuisines. Good menue selection.

Amazing food to be found here at the many different restaurants. I stayed for two weeks and loved every moment, from the quality of my room, the view, the room service and the laundry. Easy reach of the train and many shopping locations. The is highly recommended for anyone looking for a special getaway.

Excellent hotel, also the green curry on the room service menu is wicked.

Greek columns and grand stairs this architectural nightmare remains one of Bangkoks best hotels.

Location, location, location. Between two BTS stations, right next to the famous Erawan shrine, and walking distance to all the shopping you can imagine. The hotel itself is amazing - great restaurants, wonderful pool, has an executive lounge with great food and drink all day long. Service is impeccable.
