Stylish and quality clothes but some prices are soaring! I bought 2 liquettes, with a light fabric which are suitable for hot weather. About 10/15 each; which is not cheap for India. At least it helped make the standard of living better for some aboriginal people - at least, I hope so. You should also know that in Auroville, there are additional taxes, in addition to those already applied by the Indian government.

A typical, pretty successful neocolonialist type of a tailoring enterprise that employs the cheap local Tamil labour under the supervision of a couple of Aurovillians who also design the clothes to be sold at very high prices in Auroville boutiques to tourists. Of course, the Aurovillians do not buy such overpriced (fundraising?) products themselves..

Great architecture, very good design studio and a showroom. They make organic fabrics.all products are unique.
It s main focus is sustainable design.
It uses theme from all over India and use to make organic and socially sustainable products.
It is also great place for learning for youngsters who wish to learn sustainable design.

Well they have a shop which has very overpriced items.

They produce all goods in house and by hand so costs are high.

They have stock room, production room, labeling area, sample area, shop, waiting area and parking.

Staff is sweet. Located next to kinsi cycle renting place.
