The location is great! It s right beside the train station. They offer free breakfast and coffee, which is very thoughtful. However, this hotel did not satisfy my basic need. I had bad sleep here, because of the over soft bed and noises from other rooms. I could even hear my neighbors snoring...not to mention the television sound and conversations.

As for the price / quality ratio, the hotel is poor. The quality does not exceed Ibisa. Bathroom small, siemier na. The fact that the building is historic does not mean that the rooms can not be renovated. When planning accommodation in beautiful Bergen, think about whether it is worth to find something cheaper in a similar standard.

Nice, cozy and centrally located. Good breakfast in a hotel with charm and character. Very nice surroundings in a hotel protected in 2012. We only had one overnight stay on our motorcycle trip.

Very old hotel but very nice. It's like antique place because all furnitures are old along with structures. But located in a convenient place near to station so traveling is easy. Staffs are good and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic.

Beautiful classical building, beautiful interior and beautiful art. Cozy lobby where you can also eat tasty dishes.
Modern bathrooms. Some unfortunate beds for me. Box spring where I slid several times with the mattress upstairs. My roommate fell out of bed at half past two in the morning with a mattress and all of it. Perhaps better in other rooms. Ideal location relative to station.

It was a very comfortable stay. Faced a problem with the locks at the room allotted to us, but the staff we're very friendly and provided us with replacement rooms immediately. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious.

The most terrible hotel experience ever! We spent 3 nights a Grand Terminus in Bergen. The first day we were surprised with very loud drilling and banging coming from inside the hotel. It lasted for the entire stay from morni ng till after 16. We couldn't hear each other speak. The reception staff had not warned us about it and when we asked we received a very brushed off answer: oh, right, we are building a new floor office. The room and bathroom look like a run down cheap hostel, damp and sad looking. Spending 150 euro per night was a total rip off. One star for the location.

Fine hotel option right next to Bergen Central Station. The concierge was quite unhelpful offering restaurant recommendations and suggestions for sites to see in the city. They suggested a restaurant that was closed. At the very least, they could have pointed us toward the pamphlets to the left of the desk. The room was just okay.

Hotel conveniently located next to the train station and 10 minutes walk from the center. Historic hotel of character, the spirit of the eve building has been preserved while offering all modern services. Nice bathroom and bedroom with high ceilings. Coffee machine available in the room. The breakfast is amazing, the buffet is huge and offers a very varied choice of products ranging from smoked salmon, fried eggs and various seeds. For vegans they even have soy milk and rice milk. Pleasant staff, even the night watchman very well informed us.

Old rooms with musty smell, faulty doors and safe. Thin walls to hear neighbour's room. No parking. Must park another building so cannot multiple reentry. Receptionists variable. Some pleasant some rude. Can't wait to shoo me off and ask me to just read myself the info sheet. Not helpful in making any restaurant recommendations too. Almost rolled eyes at me when I asked abt parking stuff.

This review pertains only to the Terminus hotel's dinner party services. Our medium-sized group had a traditional Christmas dinner in the new wing. The lutefisk could have been very acceptable but unfortunately it was served almost cold, which is very bad for lutefisk; the small first course of the vegetarian option was good. The dessert was disappointing: a rice cream that tasted like it had not been near much cream, served with a red sauce that had not seen much red fruit. Service was rather slow and made some errors. On the whole the dinner was edible, but far from excellent.

Here it is a hotel with charm and personality back to the roots of Bergen. If you love art then this charming hotel is a must to stay at. BUT! ...... Terminus's incredible Whiskey bar is the rawest whiskey specialist I've ever been to. Here are the personnel who can teach the most famous whiskey connoisseur one thing and.

The details testify to the slow decay that seems to have affected the Grand Hotel Terminus: a rough painting, a splendid badly repaired inlay or an antique parquet roughly covered with carpet. There is a strong scent of a wasted opportunity only partially mitigated by an excellent breakfast, a decidedly above average service and above all the fascinating story of the last night spent here by Roald Amudsen.

Nice junior suite, bath was great, would reccomend soundproofing the window/vents... also the top blankets need washing... ours had not been washed in a very long time. Was nice they had glutenfree bread at breakfast, but would be great with more options besides cold foods and meats.

The "de luxe" room is horrible, dirty, without air conditioning or fan. The bathroom full of fungus and ramshackle, the tub of tin and slippery. They didn't even restock the toilet paper. The attention at the reception is terrible. It has 2 stars left over.

Hotel is located in a convenient location. We stayed there during the pandemic period. Only breakfast was taken, rest of the we had to eat at room. Nice and clean, both room and surroundings. Friendly staff.
Very close to bus station and railway station. Waking distance to many attractions.
