Very good hotel near the center, by the railway station, very nice service
Although this was sold to me as a four star hotel, I think it is a 2 to 3 star hotel. Very small and noisy rooms and extremely small bathroom, smelly carpets. No ventilation in bathroom. Beds too small and soft. Breakfast adequate.
Plus points: helpful and friendly staff.
Hotel with charm. Nice hotel. My room was characterized by not being completely recent, without compromising on the well-being of that reason. Cozy fireplace lounge / bar. Good selection of drinks. One of Norway's largest selection of whiskey?
Classic hotel with nice location, great rooms and a fantastic bar.
(Pyeong) It was plain hotel, but was convenient in traffic convenience because it was located right in front of central station.
Wonderful quirky hotel, loads of original features have been retained as it's been brought up to a very good standard. Like stepping back in time to the days of grand travel, but with the touches of luxury we expect. check out the whiskey bar, very knowledgable staff serving over a thousand choices.
Great hotel with good breakfast, but the hotel itself and the room appear to be worn.
I had a very good stay here. The room was clean and the bathroom was fine, bath included. Exellent breakfast and the staff was really kind. Just a few minutes walk to the city centre. Would recommend it to everyone!
Cozy and great place. Old and new in nice combination.
Vintage rooms nicely updated and very comfortable. Has the feel of a classic hotel but modern at the same time. Perfect location, 30 seconds from the train station and a short walk to central town. Excellent bar with friendly staff. We had a pizza and it was very good. Try the local beer made with chilies. A good value all around.
Very nice hotel right next to the train station, very comfortable room ..not just hot. Breakfast super !!
A nice vintage hotel just outside Bergen station. Nice Bar with one of the largest collection of whiskies in Norway as they say.Rooms are bigger than many hotels of the same range. It gives old, wornout but warm feel.
Lovely historic hotel. Great breakfast and wonderful staff.
Doesn`t even deserve a star, small rooms, tiny bathroom that you have to hang towels next to the shower nozzle, but that I can live with,
The heating in the room was bad and even though it was a June visit, I had to wear thermal clothes during the night,
and the biggest problem now is the cleanness, I have today BED BUG BITES because of this stupid hotel,
I didn`t take dinner in the hotel but the breakfast buffet has a lot of varieties of fruits with good quality, croissant and cheese not so much,
I strongly recommend you look elsewhere
Good hotel in a short distance to the railway and to food and culture
Good lecture hall, very good lunch that suited everyone. Good service.
Nice hotel right next to the train station 5 minute walk from downtown Bergen right in the center of everything
Very good for conferences and meetings. Did not try the accommodation. Good lunch buffet.
Nice location, easy to get to all the sights of the city. Nice staff who go to great lengths to make the stay the best possible.
Nice location by the train station, bus station and light rail stop
I was there at a conference with the school, it was very good service, clean and nice. The food was very good and the hotel was very nice.
I was only attending an event in the hall, but from what I saw it seemed like a cozy place to be
Well located hotel near the train station. Very friendly breakfast offered is very consistent with food proposed that correspond to several diets
Great place with solid history. Recently remodeled.
Clean. Staff extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was a nice surprise, lots of choice both hot & cold. Traditional feel atmosphere and cosy whisky bar with open fire. Conveniently positioned across the road from the station.
No parking like promised on booking website. Some of the rooms outside of the main hotel without elaveter.
Nice staff and view from my room. Bathroom was messy
Auditorium with good adjacent dining facilities and patio.
I only know the dining room because the hotel where I was staying gave me a voucher to go to breakfast there.
It is on one side of the station.
The breakfast is very complete and the attention of the staff is very good.
Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of Norwegian food.
This hotel has an old fashioned charm about it. However, based upon our visit, the staff were very unhelpful at check in. It took 4 different sets of keys to get into the room. The breakfast was good. Good location, but I would not stay again, as the staff didn't care. Also, the alarm on the TV did not work, so we had 20mins to pack and catch the bus.
Was at Terminus for work, lunch and seminar. Excellent lunch buffet, with pastries and coffee. Very good food. Great rooms for seminars!
Be on wine tasting with Ingvild Tennfjord. Highly recommended. Terminus worked well!
Dirty, with empty bottles and dirt under the bed, and that we had to wash the bath before the kids used it. Said off after night # 1 but was still not cleaned until we checked out after 2 nights. Not as many beds as described, so we had to wait for an extra bed. The coffee machine did not work either ... Nice location.
It,s very old hotel very special place the toilet paper it,s prettier and Nice dinner
The rooms are kind of run down, and the breakfast was lacking.
Incredibly nice hotel for conferences / meetings etc. Easy to get to by bus.
WE HAVE AN ADORABLE TIME IN THIS HOTEL, AND IN THIS CITY.
ALTHOUGH I RAISED 8 DAYS WITHOUT FOR AND IN A CONSECUTIVE WAY, ITS PEOPLE, ITS FOOD, ITS PARTICULAR FORM OF LIFE LINKED TO THE SEA AND THE COLD CAUSED US.
RESULTS INCLUSIVE FACE FOR EUROPEANS. BUT IT HAS A VERY HIGH STANDAR OF LIFE.
THE WONDERFUL HOTEL, CROPS THE WHISKEY BONDADES, THE BREAKFAST, AND ITS PARTICULAR RESTAURANT ARE EXCELLENT.
IF WE WOULD RETURN TO THE CITY, WE WILL CHOOSE THE SAME HOTEL, AMONG OTHER THINGS, BECAUSE IT IS CROSSING THE STREET OF THE TRAIN TERMINAL
Historic hotel but not necessarily charming. The showers are built in a way that gets the entire bathroom floor wet. There was only one window in the opposite corner from the bed so the room felt very dark. Breakfast was adequate.
Great location, right next to the train station. Very comfortable bed and a good sized room. Shower in the bathroom was a bit odd, could do with an upgrade. Take care getting in and out of the bath/shower. The room got a bit stuffy, so you need to open the windows to cool it down in summer (no aircon). Otherwise really nice hotel and a great stay.
Nice hotel, unfortunately they are not really cheerful at the reception
Honest and wonderful old hotel. Cozy room, elevator and yummy food. Central location and decent prices. But they should remove unhygienic wall to wall carpeting in the hotel rooms.
Old time hotel. Excellent breakfast and selection of spirits at the bar. Excellent location.
Old and worthy without seeming old. The room was nice and in style to the rest of the hotel. My travel companion was given room in the villa in the garden which was an exciting place to stay. Spent to in conference room. There was good coffee in plenty, as well as nuts and other snacks. The fitness room was fine, fit for a little workout. The food at both lunch and breakfast was very good. Have nothing to fault at this hotel.
Polite and respectful staff. Very service oriented.
Great whiskey bar and a nice breakfast selection although the room and bathroom was not the cleanest (some dirt in the bed etc...)
Bergen Handelsreisende Forening celebrates its 125th anniversary at the hotel! Great food, decent rooms for those who would stay! Awesome service from all the staff!
Friendly and well located hotel. Breakfast is great.
We stayed in "the villa", an annex of the hotel very well decorated, quiet and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and very professional. The breakfast is varied and delicious. Some organic products (which is rare in Norway).
Nice hotel, though rooms on eastern side can be noisy if there is a function. Great world class whisky bar.
Historical structure, with large rooms but with very small bathrooms [at least our room, I don't know about the others] always in the shadows. Positive service: refer the room every day [which does not happen in all the hotels]. Negative note for the hall without comfortable common areas for a brief stop, the only pleasant room where to stop was the bar where it is a must to eat otherwise you cannot sit down. Friendly staff as always
Central and historic hotel with garden. Nice rooms, good beds. Lots of good art on the walls, an atmospheric wishky bar where they also serve light meals. Nice operation. The whole hotel oozes quality and history.
Attended Christmas party with university. Very good food and service! The only downside was that the music was louder at the tables than at the dancefloor..
