Beautiful hotel in the city center, good food, restaurant on the 5th floor * Roof * a place for evenings, presentations and exhibitions.

Breakfast comes with good variety, great choices, fresh greens! omelette station is very nice, however they do not refill very often. Room is quite small, but so are all the other hotels in st. petersburg so it is alright. Clean room, great butlers!! amazing service from the butlers!

This is really a luxus accomodation. They only accept rubel in cash and the 10 thousand rubel as a deposit is too high.

Sunday brunch here is really overpriced. I don't think it's worth 6700rub(~103usd) per person with the type of food they serve... Service is not exactly top notch either... I guess I can convince myself to spend that much just to enjoy the history and decoration with bottomless refill of champagne...

The hotel is old. The public areas are very nice and the service is absolutely impecable. The restaurants within the hotel are also very good. The conciergerie made it much easier for me to live in a completely unfamiliar city. And the location is just perfect!

Afternoon tea. I have a tradition - to go to all tea ceremonies that are served in hotels in St. Petersburg. The choice is generally not so big and the Europe Hotel is a must-see destination. This is my third time here at Afternoon Tea. And I m not sure that I will come again. The trouble with the service. I ordered tea drinking in advance, asked to make a vegetarian version of all meat positions. Usually, all hotels easily agree, it was the same this time. The girls at the reception Mezzanine cafe, where tea is served, were extremely unfriendly. The table was offered the most uncomfortable, near the stairs, still not fully cleaned after the previous guests. Although there were still free tables, including the Christmas tree and the fireplace. I repeat, I ordered a tea party in advance for several days, so for sure it was possible to prepare some more festive and convenient option for guests. As a result, at my request, we were seated at another table, but this was done without any kindness. When I asked to take us with a companion closer to the Christmas tree, we were refused under the pretext that that table was reserved. All the two hours that we sat at tea, I specifically watched and saw that other random visitors who came to drink a cup of coffee and eat cakes were seated at the table, there were no companies there and it was obvious that the table was not reserved for any then a company or event, it was unpleasant. As always, the Imperial Porcelain Factory service was impeccable, excellent Darjeeling tea. Two glasses of pink sparkling wine are included in the tea party, which compares favorably with the local tea ceremony from competitors. They brought a bookcase with pies, mini-pancakes, pies, buns. We specifically noted that at our request, meat positions were replaced by fish ones. And suddenly a separate plate with pies - and there - two pies with mushrooms and two with meat, the waitress calmly reports. Why with meat? I asked. She immediately began to say, they say, they placed additional cranberry pies on the shelf instead. Well, she was clearly trying to somehow get out of her way and clumsily. Still went to replace the pies in the kitchen. And hit. After 15 minutes I had to remind about the pies. Again - a contemptuous glance - are you ready? Mezzanine cafe staff was clearly not ready to receive guests. Otherwise, everything was good, tasty and beautiful. In the end, I asked to split the bill for two so that we could pay separately, in response to another indifferent and contemptuous look - we won t break anything, just pay in half with different cards. That is, on the one hand, we were not denied anything, but the feeling that the young ladies from the Soviet past served from the series there are many of you, I am one . There was a very unpleasant impression. Unworthy hotel service, complete lack of hospitality.

We really like the almond cake in the mezzanine cafe! We sometimes buy it for more than 15 years! Great confectioners and friendly service! What looks very strange in an expensive cafe is furniture that is at least the same 15 years old!

Very luxurious and friendly hotel; staff is very helpful; a nice touch is the live music provided throughout the hotel - piano at breakfast, guitar during afternoon cafe, vocal jazz at the evening bar.

My only wish was that I could have gotten to stay at this magnificent hotel. I booked a room on the website but was told two nights were required for the Romantic Option with champagne and strawberries (which was not stated on the website). I cancelled but still made reservations for dinner at L'Europe. The architecture and design of the hotel is remarkable.

Our table host was Nikita. He was wonderful, so were the rest of the staff members there. They were really helpful and polite! Even when the matre'd walked us out to our taxi, he made sure to secure the rate first so that we would not be taken advantage of. Something my hotel did not do and thus I end up paying 2.35x more.

If you have the opportunity, make sure to experience the Belmond and L'Europe. Sitting in the dining hall feels as if I was sitting in a theatre. I tried the smoked sturgeon, caviar- eggs on eggs (caviar resting on truffle infused egggs), mushroom soup (Delicious and amazing!!!), Duck breast (succulent). On Saturday nights, you can dine whilsy listening to live performances. I read on Fridays, they have ballet performances.

I cannot wait to have Afternoon tea this evening at the Belmond! I will be staying here on my next St. Petersburg trip!

The food are excellent and the beer. The best place to eat and drink. The atmosphere are great and the waitress are very friendly and very helpful. A must go for a bite and drink.

Hotel have a very good location in the center of the city, beautiful building. Have a few bars and restaurants. In lobby you can listen every evening piano and also jazz from 22.00 and sometimes 21.00 jazz band. In bar-restaurant Mesanine you will feel like in Europe, very colorful interesting design to create atmosphere of European Street. There you will find a very taste coffee and deserts also tea, almost every evening also a life music. Main restaurant look very interesting with a few balcony and a small scene like in theater, but in the same time too classic design, food was good, but nothing special really and this is a bit strange for this kind of place, almost always empty, just 2,3 tables are busy. Rooms a good.
