The best place in Saint Petersburg. Real 5 star hotel. Fantastic breakfast offered. Madam Victoria did a great job providing us with a real Grand Hotel service in the morning. Rooms are having enough space and fabulous beds. Our stay was just great.
Hotel that deserves its 5 stars. Ideally located in the center of St Petersburg. Many places of visits are possible nearby. The subway is close to the hotel. In addition, the hotel has a concierge service, caviar bar of excellent reputation, a Chinese restaurant, a classic restaurant, fitness room, spa, shops, dry cleaning service ... breakfasts of great qualities and diversity are offered.

A splendid place to stay if you're visiting Saint Petersburg. Lovely food accompanied by a Tchaikovsky playing quartet in the beautiful setting of the Europe restaurant with drinks before hand in the beautiful art nouveau lobby bar. And the room was quite possibly the quietest I've ever stayed in. They really look after you.
A place to feel princess. Without seeing those who assist you, you are penetrated by that sense of care, warm mime, respectful caress.
Beautiful rooms though the Talon Hotel is more sumptuous. The breakfast at the Belmond however is far superior to the Talon. The gym at the Talon is much larger and they have a full swimming pool but the Belmond is adequate. The staff at the Belmond however is much more courteous. The check in staff I believe her name was Ekaterina remembered my name for days after just a short 5 minute check in. The mezzanine cafe was incredibly kind to my kids and the hotel gave them teddy bears and free ice cream gift certificates. Despite no pool and a smaller gym and smaller rooms, the Belmond scores one more star than the Talon because of friendly/courteous/not at all snobby staff, phenomenal breakfast and super kid friendly!
Perhaps the best 5 * hotel in town. Restaurants Mezzanine, Caviar Bar, Europe, Asia - great places to meet. The number of rooms is updated regularly.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of St. Petersburg, very tasty breakfasts! An abundance of exotic fruits, berries, tasty fresh, red caviar, wrestling and many other dishes for every taste, even champagne can be served for breakfast at your request. But in paid restaurants, the prices are space and the portions are small and the food is not particularly surprising. The staff is polite, everyone including the cleaners and shvetsara speak English, but the cleaners are not very generous, you have to remind every day that they would deliver water, coffee capsules, itp ... By price category the hotel is very expensive, but the contingent is pleasant . Mostly foreigners, not once in my presence there was no noise and drunken companies. The biggest drawback is the high prices, but in general I recommend this hotel !!!
The hotel is conveniently located near the philharmonic, smiling and friendly staff, unobtrusive atmosphere and excellent service. The level of comfort at altitude.
Stopped in for a drink. The environment was delightful, there was live music and the service was very good. The drinks were perfect and the staff was very friendly and professional. A very nice experience. I am definitely going to visit the Grand Hotel Europe again next time i am in san petersburgo or rent a room there for the full experience.

The hotel will charge you for every little things. We had to wait over 15 minutes for the concierge to become available to answer our question. For every serve the hotel provided we got charged a service fee. I expected more from this hotel.

Great hotel, very conveniently located. The staff is very nice and welcoming and the concierge team gave us good adresses. Room service is effective and food is great. The rooms are big and spacious.
However it was not perfect: the room was either too hot or too cold, the WiFi did not work properly all the time, service at the bar was very slow, the orange juice at the breakfast was very bad and we had to ask to get fresh juice... small issues but accumulated it tends to make the stay less good.
This is a beautiful hotel in St. Petersburg, and its location simply can't be beat. Easy walk to several museums, including the Faberge Museum, or even to the Hermitage. The look is one of traditional elegance rather than contemporary sleekness, and it totally works here. There is a wonderful restaurant and you can get afternoon tea on the second floor.

Fabulous! Our second stay - last year stayed in a historic room, this year in a delux - both suited our needs very well. Our favs are the interiors, the Lobby bar (enjoyed their live music and the cocktails), the breakfasts in the Europe restaurant (last year visited Tchaikovsky and jazz night there - a joy!), the Mezzanine cakes and a cozy space, the Azia food. The staff team is very welcoming and attentive (we enjoyed a greeting to my mom birthday). Would love to come again!

I was at the CISCO conference and was able to evaluate comfortable conference rooms both on the ground floor (Tchaikovsky, Pushkin), and on the fifth (Under the roof). Beautiful and tasty restaurant. I don t know what living conditions are there, the interiors are beautiful, and I think living there is comfortable and apparently expensive ...

Very old, old fashion, so it makes you not so comfortable the stay. The attention for this 5 or 6 stars very poor, no one to help you with luggage, rooms old not wanted to stay there, and the Rest Azia very poor service

Excellent hotel and well located with St Petersburg. Our stay was for 5 days so we had an opportunity to use many of the facilities of the hotel. All the restaurants had great food and solid customer service. The front desk and people at the hotel front door helped us in every way possible and greeted us each day with a smile and greeting making you feel right at home in the hotel.
Many points of interest are within walking of the hotel including cathedrals, museums, parks, shops and restaurants.

The hotel is a bit different in style but very decent. Historical interiors have been preserved, new rooms have been added in 2018, and the old ones are in fair condition. Good location - just walking distance. Cozy and very tasty. A breakfast under the harp is something! Delicious Sunday brunch, I would add more delights, but also the buffet is rich.
