Stopped in for tea and a pastry. It was very, very, very nice. The strawberry confection I had was marvelous and the tea came with every kind of sweetener imaginable (including rock candy on a stick!) The service was excellent too!
We had an unforgettable stay over New Year's Eve at the Belmond. The attention to detail when it comes to food, service and the hotel room (small gifts for the kids, chocolate etc.) was incredible. This was a grand well maintained palace hotel. Great location and friendly people/staff. The bar just reopened however is legendary and a must to experience. Food is excellent. The cafe is pleasant and each cappuccino personalized. The caviar bar is awesome and tastefully presented. Also a must for tasting for the expert to the novice.
You havent been in St.Petersburg if you didn' t have a drink in this legendary hotel !
The hotel is very well located, clean and courteous service. The only bad experience we had was the Mezzanine, unfortunately the girls don t speak English, don t even care to try, in my point of view kind of rude. Don t even care for tip. Everything else is fantastic.
This hotel is a highly recommended choice in Saint Petersburg. It is very elegant but maybe needs a renovation, it is still a very good hotel. The service is very friendly and efficient. The rooms are large but the furniture needs updating. The location is very central.

Staff here is very very cooperative. Ambience is very good very big Hotel. I been there for 4 days. I loved eating breakfast in the Hotel. I am vegetarian, there were so much vegetarian food. I ate rice boiled in milk.. As Indian i will say kheer but it was something else.. Salted... But very yummy.. The buckwheat dish was also new for me..

The hotel is located in the city center, which makes the route more accessible and convenient. The building itself is an architectural structure, which indicates its cultural significance for the city. The interior is thought out to the smallest detail. A lot of jewelry and flowers that give a special charm. The rooms are quite spacious and bright. Everything you need in the room and bathroom is present. There is a spa area and conference rooms, which is an indisputable advantage. I recommend it primarily for visitors who have a business trip.

Beautiful place! Parking is free, but they allow those who pay voluntarily. And all the others are the second row and interfere with passing buses. From this on Mikhailovskaya permanent cork. In other matters like everywhere :)

i spent 3 weeks in this hotel (in january and february!!! brrrrrr - really freezing in the city). but the hotel was warm, inviting, and with exceptional staff. the high-end restaurant, with its lovely music and dancing, has excellent food -- some of the best in russia.

We were with friends in your restaurant, everything is fine, but at the exit we encountered a guide who came down from the street broadcasting something to his tourists. My French friends were genuinely surprised, and found it inappropriate.

We were in this hotel with a tour of SATO TOURS, upon check-in we were immediately served a welcome drink, comfortable and complete room, spectacular breakfast, we were served an incredible dinner, because we arrived late from a folklore show, highly recommended.
