GPT Tools has now become my go to place for tools. I am tradie and I buy all kinds of tools from them. Always had a hassle free experience. Good quality tools for very good prices. This place is a true hidden GEM in campbellfield and I highly recommend them to everyone.

DO NOT BUY from them, they advertise falsely and honour nothing. Once they have your cash that's the end of it.

Gpt tools. These guys are so dodgy. Their tools are crap and they don't honour warranties. They are racist against Aussies. Don't trust them and don't buy from them.

Worse place I have ever been in my life I wouldn t recommend this place to my enemy poor quality tolls and trailes poor customer service they just lie and lie and lie to do not shop at this place or you will reqretted.

Cant thank GPT and their team enough for all the help they did with my Air Compressor. Found them on the GPT , gave them a ring , they asked me to bring the air compressor , worked on something which i know after all the help they did was useless. Didnt charge me a dollar for all the help and instead i bought a brand new one which now works like magic.

Their price is very fair and their service is just awesome. Cant beat these guys. Give them a try and you would be very happy you did.

Just got a Lawn mower from here work's very well for the price. Very nice people showed me how to start it will buy from them again.

Have been to GPT Tools twice. I have had an excellent experience both in terms of service and the quality of the items. I bought an generator first time around and pallet jack last time. Nothing to complain. Happy to recommend.

Never will I purchase from this company again.Cheap badly made machinery.First log splitter faulty.Second one's going to cost $1000.00 to fix because it wasn't made properly and out of warranty.

I am a constant customer at GPT. The customer service is great and they have nice easy prices.

I purchased a petrol generator which after three months failed to work. I took it back on the 3/4/2017. I asked would they call me and they said I must contact them. I have returned to the store three times only to be told it has not been looked at yet. Today 17/5/2017 i went in again and once again I was advised it is not fixed yet. Well as you can imagine I was not happy. I wanted answers and all the assistant could say it is not ready. I asked why and he could not answer. I wanted to speak to the owner apparently he was off. I demanded he call the owner and he refused.
He then told me to leave and I refused. I would not leave without an answer. I told him I will call the cops to get this matter resolved. He laughed at me. In fact he told me to call consumer affairs too. Well I did call the police who advised me to get my generator back and deal with them through the courts. The police also called them to make sure they returned my generator. My generator was not touched. I have read all the posts regarding this business and I now see this is common practise.I believe they do this on purpose so customers will demand their product back not fixed and take it somewhere else to have it repaired. I will not rest until this unscrupulous business acts within the law and fixes problems as per the law. You cannot come to this country and do what you please. I bought a chainsaw and it did not work. I returned it and they gave me a second hand one that also did not work. I demanded a refund.

Great place to buy tools. Awesome Service. Just nothing to complain.

Very Rude man and poor customer services.
Secondly the tools which he sales are repaired by his own mechanic. They are not factory second hand.

I bought lawn mover 3 months ago which last long for only 2 months.

I bought again lawn mover from him last week that mover is modified and repaired. He told me factory second hand but its modified with only 2 blades instead of 4 blades.

Low cost imported equipment, quality seems OK. It is worth a look

Bought a post hole digger from Ghebrial. No problem at all. using it for a long time. They have the best prices in the market. Definitely worth visiting their store. Very good staff , always ready to help with a smile .

Was just browsing but staff were great and went out of there way to help. They seem to have a wide range of tools from power tools , construction , generators. Their prices cannot be compared to any tool shop. By far the best and i ended up buying quite a few items from them. Happy to recommend !!!!!

Bought a a whole range of garden tools from Ghebrial including chainsaw , lawn mower, log splitter , tillers and brush cutter and some garden sprayers.

Super excited to write this review and i believe these are very honest and their pricing is very good and the entire experience from start to finish was very pleasant. No pushy sales staff, I am happy to recommend them to anyone looking to buy tools for your small business such as mine.

Purchased 58 ton log splitter, took 5 hours to assemble(& I m an automotive trainer & plant mechanic)no instructions, & many things needed repair or adjustment before assembly. ABSOLUTE RUBISH. Doesn t even split hard wood.
Called the owner & was told if I wanted quality to pay more, he was very rude.
BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS BUSINESS

I went to buy a generator from GPT. I am from the south east of Melbourne and they are in the northern suburbs. I wasnt sure if i can travel for so long. It was worth my time , I found the generator i was after , plus super service and i ended up buying a GO KART as well which was great.

I needed a generator for a lot of my work. Found GPT on google. I found the price and the quality to be pretty good.

Happy to recommend.

Purchased 7.5HP Industrial Air Compressor 180L tank .
5 Months later compressor leaked air did not switch off.
Ruddiest person Gabrielle reply " SO BRING IT IN I WILL LOOK AT IT "
Explained it was very large , answered SO then hung up the phone.
Never ever purchase from these people, do not honor warranties

I am manufacturer purchase equipment regularly, never would I recommend or purchase from GPT POWER TOOLS

Purchased a factory second lawn mower after less than 2 months it has now broken down and I have been told they won t fix it and I need to get it serviced. There website says warranties are 6 months to 3 years. No where on their website does it say 30days warranty for factory seconds. This is unacceptable I will be taking this matter to the ACCC and I will never be shopping in your store again.

Bought a log splitter. Not a problem. Great price. Good people to deal with as well. Very Happy Experience.

Super happy with the 65 ton log splitter i bought from GPT. Ordered it online and it arrived in 5 days. These guys sell the best log splitters anywhere in Australia. Zero complaints.

Best place to buy standard galvanised trailers. Cant complain about quality or price.

I've had a horrible experience with GPT Tools. I purchased a brand new tool for $1150. It was faulty to begin with and could not be used. Returned it requesting refund. They said they had the right to repair it, but they couldn't fix it and gave it back to me. Many months and 4 shop visits later (2hr journey). No refund, no repair, no returning calls and they won't tell me who their supplier is or where to get parts. Just lies upon lies. Complete breach of Fair Trade act, they are a law unto themselves. Don't trust them.

Went intothe shop to buy a generator that was advertised on marketplace by the owner as 4 KVA for $550.When i rang to see if it was available i was upgaded to 4.5kva for the same price.l asked them to hold it for me because I had a 2hr drive. When I got to the shop and paid for the generator the sales docket and the label on the generator said 3.2kva.When I questioned the owner he used a pen to change the receipt to 4.5KVA.I questioned the owner and got my money back, but wasted a 2hr drive each way.It is still for sale as a 4.5kva,beware.

I run a construction business , I buy all kinds of tools from GPT. I know the owner Ghebrial personally now for almost 15 years and have built a great relationship over the years. I am very happy to recommend GPT Tools for anyone trying to buy tools, be it for your business or your house work.

I havent seen any company here in Australia that has matched their price for any tools Period.

Did purchase new Nail gun online from them ,But they send me the Demo and second hand one ,Had to send it back ,they couldn't provide me with Brand new one ,so finally got my refund. It was first and last time buying anything from them

They seem to have the best generators in the market. plus super services. 5 star ratings. No questions about it.

Not very happy i got a table saw today for $150.00 that was great and i got a blade that was $99.00 so i asked the man if he could do better and he said yes he can and said $70.00 but when i came home and checked my receipt he charged me $249.00. I find that very dishonest, so i will never go there again and i advise you who do shop there to look carefully at your receipt. Car parking is also very hard.

Purchased a 2nd hand-lawnmower from here.
The guy working there didn't want to help me to put it into the boot of my car saying , "no room", pretended he didn't speak English when I tried to sort it out.
Threw attachments into the boot & hung onto one. Kept denying he had it in his hand & I ended up insisting he open his hand to show me & yes, it was there.
V. upsetting experience.
He then went up to a concreter with a truck, with a smile on his face & helped him unload a heap of wheel-barrows to make room for another wheel-barrow he had bought.
Women are not welcome to this business & treated with contempt.

Best place to buy tile cutter. Have been using GPT for years.

Got in to the store a bit skeptical thinking the price was too good to be true for a petrol air compressor. One of their sales rep Mena answered all my questions and also spent almost 2 hours with me showing how it works etc.

Was very happy with the service as well. Bought it and not a single issue so far. Works great. went back today and bought some accessories . Will definitely head back every single time if i need tools.

Having gone to so many tool shops and as a person who would like to do his research, I can tell with 100% confidence that if you guys need any sort of power tools , there isnt a better place to buy in melbourne.

These guys are ok, they are a discount store, I have been very impressed with their range and pricing and they have been honest with all my purchases. They also keep a lot of Aldi range you won't get when its not in their stores. Across the board, because they are cheaper the Chinese tools will not have the tolerance to buffer inexperienced operators or last under adverse conditions, but they are getting better all the time.

What you see is what you get, price included.

Good quick service. Good prices. Recommend the store. Don't shop at the big green shed. Always buy independent.

I bought a 7.5 hp compressor from gpt and happy for what i bought.i would recommend him for my mate for teaching me how to maintain it.24 hrs of running should be tightened all the pipe fitting to avoid malfunction of the unit and maintain the compressor oil level.and always check the oil discoloration .i have no issue up to now on my compressor its been 6 yrs now still working and looks brand new im very happy for my compressor.they will give you all the impormation you need to know how to maintain the unit.5 star for me gpt keep up the good work.

The Costumer service was great. I wasn't sure what would work for the job but after speaking to the GPT guys, they were able to solve my prblem. The prices were great when compared to other retailers! Thanks guys. I'll be back for more!

I wanted to buy shop press which was advertise on Fb for $150 went to the shop to pick up one and the person tell me its $190 for the same s.press. Also bought plastic glue was $7 on the shelves he charged me $10. Never again in that shop.

I am a tradie and i have been GPT for years. Very happy to recommend them to anyone looking to buy tools.

Please don't buy anything from this shop. This guy is really rude. He doesn't know how to talk with customers and do business in Australia. I bought GPT table saw from this shop and within 20 days its stop working. I took it to shop and ask for replacement but he talk very rudely not even offer for refund and still i am waiting to repair my saw. Its been two weeks now still they are giving only one answer my technician come and repair. I am calling them everyday and same answer i am getting. If i won't get this week I am going to complaint in ACCC. First time i had really bad customer service experience in Australia.
Check it, He doesn't have any one positive review....

Tried to tell me I damaged a product when I had barely used it, huge major faults with the product. Scam scam scam. Majorly pee'd off with these guys, no wonder retail is on it's way down with examples like this.

Nowhere near as big as the big tool shops but has a lot of tools, just not several brands of the same thing. The $295 air compressor we needed urgently was cheap but exceeded our expectations.

This place sells poor quality everything, not worth buying.

Bought a electric tile cutter from GPT . I am glad I bought from the right place. The owner Ghebrial was very helpful , showed me a demo of how it worked and was very patient with me. Thanks Ghebrial for all the help.

Saw a pump advertised on line at 30 litres per minute, which I didn't believe for the price. Went in to the shop and asked is this rated at 30 litres per minute (8 gallons per minute). Was told yes. Purchased it. A week later when I had some time to set it up, I read the manual and it recommends a water supply of 5 gallon per minute. Just checked eBay and all the pumps at now rated at 14 litres per minute, which matches the performance I am getting out of this one. Not overly happy. Pump works fine, just doesn't do what I bought it for.
