I purchased a petrol generator which after three months failed to work. I took it back on the 3/4/2017. I asked would they call me and they said I must contact them. I have returned to the store three times only to be told it has not been looked at yet. Today 17/5/2017 i went in again and once again I was advised it is not fixed yet. Well as you can imagine I was not happy. I wanted answers and all the assistant could say it is not ready. I asked why and he could not answer. I wanted to speak to the owner apparently he was off. I demanded he call the owner and he refused.
He then told me to leave and I refused. I would not leave without an answer. I told him I will call the cops to get this matter resolved. He laughed at me. In fact he told me to call consumer affairs too. Well I did call the police who advised me to get my generator back and deal with them through the courts. The police also called them to make sure they returned my generator. My generator was not touched. I have read all the posts regarding this business and I now see this is common practise.I believe they do this on purpose so customers will demand their product back not fixed and take it somewhere else to have it repaired. I will not rest until this unscrupulous business acts within the law and fixes problems as per the law. You cannot come to this country and do what you please. I bought a chainsaw and it did not work. I returned it and they gave me a second hand one that also did not work. I demanded a refund.
