Great selection of European and local beers in the store up front, with myriad imported foods and trinkets. There is also an awesome bar and tasting room in the back that should not to be overlooked.

I like this place! They give first-rate dishes, they have a rich menu, The chef in that place is well trained, I enjoy a lot eating all their dishes. The food is consistently of high qualtity, the service towards the visitors is friendly. I frequently visit this restaurant and I not even once was disappointed. I highly recommend it.

Really incredible beer selection and great vibe. Make sure you order a giant Bavarian pretzel with the cheese and salami! Can be crowded at times, but just a testament to the awesomeness of Gourmet Haus Staudt.

As close to shopping in Germany as you can get in California. Recent remodel kept the flavor of the original store while improving the flow of the store. Adjacent bar/restaurant has delicious German food and beer.

Down home fun. Great visitor pour list every time. Best German beer you can possibly find. Excellent cider. Food made right there. Huge pretzels, fresh. You walk in the back and make some new friends.

Love this beer garden. The staff is amazing, good great and beer choices awesome. Don't let their hide away in the corner of a parking lot detour you, it is quaint and very German. Reminds me of being in Germany. During the day they are connected to a German food and items store with a store front on Broadway.

Fantastic food, really great wait staff, exceptional beer selection.

I love the beer garden feel of the place, and I really love the fact that there's a bottle shop/German goods shop connected to the restaurant. It's a quality place to pick up craft beers from all over the place, in a wide variety of styles.

The biggest downer is the POS System. It's really difficult to get checks split if you're in a large group and getting your food order without having to wait 20-40min all comes down to timing. Granted they serve beer quickly, but it'll take you 15min to pay for them...

Epic selection of German/Austrian beers + equally good selection of domestic beers

Sometimes crowded as there is not much space, but on a moderately busy night, it's a great scene. Great German food and a small outside beer garden when the weather is decent.

Lots of different kinds of German beers. Reasonably good food. Outdoor seating. Mostly ding a star for the entrance (and aforementioned outdoor seating) being in a parking lot, which is not exactly the most ambient.

Fun

Great beers! Service can be hit or miss depending on when you go. Ordered this giant pretzel which was delicious but paired with a hot mustard sauce that was basically straight horseradish which ruined it. Wouldn't recommend the mustard but the pretzel was delicious. Would be nice to have a different sauce or maybe a beer cheese option.

TLDR: this place has a lot! Great place to go after work in Redwood City.

I ve been to beer gardens in Berkeley and San Francisco, and this is one of the top two! (Ludwig s German Table in San Jose is probably #1). This place has great atmosphere - friends chatting - and a great selection of cider, American craft beer, and German beers. Behind the bar is a marked stocked full of imported German foods, beers, toys and even more refridgerated beers.

One of the best craft beer and Haribo candy joints in the Bay area and certainly on the peninsula. Always have fresh cans of local brewers and of course plenty of originals from Germany/Belgium.

AMAZING SERVICE!! Staff was so friendly and attentive. We came for a Saturday lunch and couldn't have had a better service experience.

This is the perfect beer Haus complete with German beers, food, and long beer garden tables. Both indoor and outdoor seating and perfectly decorated. Lots of German beers to choose from.

We got the jumbo pretzel with Camembert as well as the chicken schnitzel special of the day. The jumbo pretzel was perfect and if you are a fan of Camembert you must get the spread- a yummy side of cheese, onion, and paprika that goes so well with the pretzel! The chicken schnitzel was perfectly cooked. Very large portion that came with some sides. Everything is fairly priced.

There is also a small store part of the restaurant where you can buy German goods like sausages, dessert items, mustards, and more!

We will definitely come back to try more of the menu!

If you are looking for beer or food, this is an excellent place, just check the food times online before you head there. The German Store is authentic and has almost everything you are looking for.

Beers here are always terrific (I've heard to steer clear of the jerkum), and the authenticity of the decor, food, and German market out front is delightful - just needs more seating! Open the upstairs?

The staff here is honestly some of the best I have EVER encountered. If you get the pleasure of seeing Chris, he has an amazing way of truly building rapport with customers and is an all around swell guy.

Everyone knows this as the go to German spot but they also have the best rotating selection of prominent craft breweries. They are verified on Untappd and the beer menu can be found there.

Great beer bar serving an excellent selection of German and American craft beer. The interior is made up to look like a German beer hall, with bench seating as well as a few tables. There is also outdoor seating. Very popular on the weekends, so it can get a bit loud inside. If you come earlier in the day they serve good German food, mostly sausages plates.

the food was fine, moderately priced, and of reasonable portions. the beer was great, but pricy. dog-friendly patio seating was airy without being breezy. the interior smelled strongly of german pub, which should not be surprising for a german pub. restrooms were relatively clean, but we're also clearly attached to a german pub.

Love the atmosphere inside. I felt like I was in Germany in a little beer garden. Good selection of beer, and a great pretzel. The other food looked good as well but didn't try it this time.

Fantastic hole-in-the-wall German restaurant in RWC. The sausages were phenomenal and the beer was even better! The prices here are extremely reasonable and my wife and I came out of here with two beers each for just over $50! Highly highly recommended!
