I stayed here with my girlfriend for a midweek getaway. We wanted to recharge after a manic year, and a busy Christmas.

It should have been an excellent stay, but was made "only good" by some shortcomings. The mistakes and niggles were not much individually, but taken in the wider picture, we felt that we expected more from a 4-star hotel.

Hotel with a very nice location and good facilities. The family room was large and the indoor pool with steam room, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi we liked very much, as you have a beautiful view of the sea.
The dinner was quite good, but the portions were just a bit of a snack (Was better at the Newton hotel nearby). The breakfast was very good and with a large selection (including smoothies, ...). Unfortunately, our waitress at breakfast obviously no desire and seemed a bit annoyed. Therefore, and because of the small portions of the expensive dinner, there are only four stars.

I was only a visitor to the leisure club so can't comment on hotel rooms but pool and outdoor hot tub are lovely. Great to sit and listen to the waves on the beach nearby. Friendly staff and hot showers too

Well, I have to say, this was fabulous value for money. Beautiful views from the pool over the sea. We only attended the spa day. Clean facilities. Changing rooms could do with accommodating a few more people though. Staff lovely. Now I would not normally mention people but Courtney looked after me and my daughter who had a pregnancy massage and she was brilliant. I appreciate we all like different but this was the best back, neck and shoulder massage I have ever had.... and I've had them all over the world. Outside hot tub clean and hot! Pool had a few noisy kids which was not great when having a spa day. The whole idea is relaxation which is hard around screaming kids.... two things that would make this place fabulous.... a quiet room with no kids and a laying down lounges as they are all in upright seated positions. Had the afternoon tea. Comfortable surroundings. Nice cakes. Cater for dietary requirements. Parking before hotel checkout is a little bit difficult. Staff in general were friendly and nice....Get Courtney for the treatments! Not tried anyone else but if I get a chance I will return and request her! Excellent.

Great place, room was big, clean and comfy. Friendly staff and good swimming pool with a little gym.

Food choice was minimal though and if you haven't breakfast included it's very expensive.

Take a trip out for food, a nice walk along the sea front but take a torch if it's dark! Jackos was good for everyday good food.

We had a lovely stay at the Golf View Hotel. Clean room with sea views, excellent food, and really friendly staff. We also felt they did a great job with social distancing (due to the COVID19 pandemic) within the hotel. We would happily stay again.

We attended a spa day at the hotel. All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The spa facilities were very old with access to jacuzzi, hot tub, steam room, sauna and pool. The treatments were also excellent.

Rooms nice, clean. Restaurant completely inconsistent, nice eggs Benedict one morning, next morning the muffins weren't toasted and it was refrigerator cold. Dinner was awful. asked for newspaper each day, never got one in 4 nights stay. Also set up 4 am wakeup call. It never happened, thank goodness for my phone. This nice hotel badly needs a good manager overseeing.

We give this establishment two stars for the setting and the spa and pool facilities.
For the rest a lot to say about many details that do not make this hotel an exceptional place. We are used to traveling in this type of 4 or 5 star hotels and are disappointed with our choice for the 4 nights spent in Nairn.
Regarding our "family room" do not rely on the view of the North Sea but rather on the fire escape, bins for parents and a patio for children.
Children's mattresses are worn (springs) and those of parents deformed.
Children do not have blackout curtains for their window!
Only one chair for 4 in the room, how to put our clothes?
Only positives of the room: its size and the bathroom nice.
Regarding the breakfast, the service is very slow, no hot chocolate for children every other morning and what about the buffet devastated and not restocked at any time.
What about the dishes that fall on the floor and is put back on the tables?
Overall this hotel deserves better, where are the management and the managers ??
The swimming pool and the spa make up for this establishment if we do not take into account the dilapidated locker rooms.
Last detail for us, the water of the flowers at the reception was not changed during our 5 days of presence!

If the other 4 stars in the street have free rooms for your stay, go there, you will have the view 2 minutes walk.

Really like this hotel. The location is lovely, next to a beach which is nice for a stroll especially if you have a dog with you. Food is great very tasty and good selection including vegetarian options. Rooms are clean and spacious with very comfortable beds.

Food is absolutely stunning , the chef is brilliant with any dietary requirements and this is shown by the dairy free pudding he made one night for us . The hotel is right next to the stunning white sandy beach.

Firstly it was Alicia on reception. What a warm genuine welcome. She is an asset to the hotel. Secondly the spa staff. Amazing treatments; really lovely girls. Myself and my Daughter has the best time. The room was beautiful (36) comfy bed and bathroom. Bonus sea view that I wasn t expecting. Recommendation to the management would be the changing rooms in the spa are not in keeping with the rest of the hotel which is lovely. I m sure you will already be aware and working on this; and the steam room door doesn t seal so it leaks out the steam and doesn t stay steamy. That said we will definitely be back and would definitely recommend the hotel.

Went here for food only so can't comment on accommodation. Went for a steak night. Steak was good but a little overcooked. Wine option was good but the service was a little slow at times. Settings are great.

I am editing my review from a 3 to a 5 star. I stayed here once from Sept 2 - 3 and had a PERFECT experience. I then stayed from Sept. 9 to 10 and was very displeased as the room I was staying in on the third floor (56 I believe) was next to a thumping broiler. Unfortunately whenever anyone in the hotel needed hot water, the boiler thumped and since it was cold, it thumped all night. After not being able to sleep, I contacted the front desk and at 11:30p that night, they moved me to another room so I could sleep. THIS WAS EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE and much appreciated. UNFORTUNATELY, the room category I had booked was sold out, and the only room available was the one next to the boiler. HOWEVER the initiative the front desk took to move me to a quieter room shows that the hotel wants to accommodate customers whenever they can. I WILL DEFINITELY BE VISITING AGAIN. Only suggestion would be for the hotel to find a way to insulate the boiler from guest rooms.

Overnight stay with some friends. We had multiple rooms booked and they were all really spacious. We had spa treatments and spent time in the pool. The spa area has a pool, sauna, steam room and outdoor hottub. The view from the hottub was beautiful looking out over the water. The only issue I had was the billing, but I think this was because there were so many of us. It was difficult to check and split the bill as everything had been bulked together.
I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. It was clean and the staff were helpful. Some of us had the taster menu which was lovely and there was also a great choice on the a la carte menu too.

Paid for a spa day away from the kids to find out that there were kids lessons in the pool. Afternoon tea worked out about 20-25 pound each and was mostly egg mayo sandwiches. Other than that food was great and spa was clean.

Hello, we stayed at Golf View for three weeks and we enjoyed everything very much. The team is great and friendly, the food and breakfast were very good. Tastes are different and whether I like the furnishing style or not is not relevant, it was nice, clean and tidy. This hotel is an "old hotel" and therefore you can't expect miracles! Informing beforehand helps, then you don't have a rude awakening. We were completely happy and VERY satisfied with everything. We got married right by the sea, in the garden of this hotel and this was a dream too, this incredibly beautiful view lets you forget all your worries and worries. Just beautiful! We will definitely be back in 2021 ........ and hope to meet this great team there again!
