Great staff but hotel was run down in places and needed some tlc.
I went to the nairn golf view hotel on a New Years break. I arrived quite late at 10 pm after a massive delay in my flight due to foggy weather and staff were very nice and understanding, they replaced the welcoming drink and food with a very nice cocktail and the yummiest sandwiches I ever tasted.
Apart from the staff politeness, the hotel is also marvellous with very comfy beds, nice restaurants and a really gorgeous sea view.
As for the town, there isn't much to do in Nairn, however the city is fairly close to a lot of iconic locations making it the perfect report for a relaxing getaway
Had a great stay here with family. Rooms. With sea view very nice. suite and four posters a bit extra and worth the money for the view. Food very good quality and staff very helpful and friendly.
Good place to stay . Decent value. Lovely breakfast choice.
This place is just lovely, the rooms are so fantastic with the most comfortable beds, roomy bathroom with a separate walk-in show and generously size bathtub. The restaurant is a bit expensive but the food is divine. The icing on the cake is the wonderful outdoor spa overlooking the north sea.
The best features of this hotel are its stunning location overlooking the Moray Firth, and its excellent indoor pool and facilities. The hotel was in the process of much needed internal refurbishment. The ground floor was nearly done, and they were moving slowly through the tired bedrooms. The mattress, in particular, needed to be replaced in our room.
The worst feature was its lack of staff. Service in the restaurants was painfully slow. The food was generally acceptable when it came, except for the breakfasts which were a major disappointment. The few staff on duty did their best and were friendly.
Good hotel, classic, great guest house, very nice place, walks on the beach, although a little bit from downtown. Cozy and good Spa facilities.
Just back from a 2 day break for our 30th anniversary and this hotel was perfect. Beautifully decorated, staff very friendly and location perfect. Great food and steak night was very reasonable. Loved it, loved it, loved it and will certainly go back.
We are local, retired and lunch out often. We were extremely disappointed with the soups - 2 on offer but both very rich and creamy and the bread ? polystyrene with absolutely no flavour. When you have award winning bakers in Ashers, Harry Gow, the 3 Little Bakers , there is no excuse. I write not for myself but to encourage you to offer better quality for it was embarrassing and we shall not be back. We received a wonderful welcome when we arrived and the waiter was highly attentive.
I used the spa facilities for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Lovely swimming pool - not too big and not too small, there is definitely room to swim. The pool is also warm which is great! Other facilities include a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There is also a fantastic hot tube outside which overlooks the beach and great views of the Black Isle. Towels are provided and there is plenty of room in the changing rooms.
We stayed here as the guests of Crerar hotels group, having been selected for a complimentary stay as an NHS worker. We were treated like royalty from start to finish, with dinner, bed and breakfast and reduced rate for Spa treatments. Nairn, and surroundings are beautiful. The hotel has a fabulous location, with lawns down to a promenade alongside the beach. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had everything you could need-including Tunnocks biscuits and tea cakes ! The food, both breakfast and dinner was lovely, and the restaurant staff were wonderful. We look forward to our next stay.
Myself, sister, mother and our Nannie were at the spa today for a lovely pampering catch up. Staff are friendly facilities are fab food was beautiful and we're certainly full after lunch. The only thing we would advise would be to check there are no swimming lessons on for little ones when you have booked
Beautiful location, lovely bedroom and we thoroughly the lovely breakfast.
