Goldstrike Casino Review

We had two rooms reserved during this stay. 2840 and 2947. 2840 appeared to be in good condition but the in the morning we found a very nasty surprise in the coffee maker (picture available) and a nightstand light that was not functioning, upon closer inspection it was found a light socket was broken and the bulb was hanging down and could be a safety concern or fire hazard. It would seem the room was cleaned but not inspected previously.2947 was a great room and was clean, the problem was that while staying in the room (non-smoking), the stairwell is right next to the room. The staff of the hotel (apparent by the radios they wore) did not follow the posted signs and continued to go in and out the stairwell door yelling and smoking in the stairwell. Defeats the purpose of a non-smoking room. Although we spent a lot of time on the casino floor, a good night sleep was not to be had due to the proximity and usage of the stairwell door, mind you its the 29th floor so I am suspect of the users on the stairwell, they were not customers of the hotel. The radios and yelling was a enough to keep us from staying in any room near the stairs regardless of floor level.

Two bartenders working for a sold out concert? Missed out on a lot of money. Literally only made it through the drink line once for an entire concert.

Nice place, just wish all casinos would jump on the no smoking wagon. Maybe one day!

Best casino that pays i won $450 n i only played $40 on the Black Jack 21 Table.....

The bathroom floor dirty and dirty phone too. Tiny bath soap no refrigerator or microwave. This place has gone down.

I love goldstrike.very friendly and plenty of games.

Took my children there as a quick getaway but were told they couldn't swim even with a parent there. Do better GoldStrike.

Always a great time.. very nice hotel.. the buffet has went down however.. quality of food is not what it used to be.

The Chicago Steak Restaurant was great, the service was excellent.

Its a great place to stay and. a great place to eat also..The slots are loose too.there's alot of variety and fun machines to keep you playing for a long time. Awesome staff.

Saw Marshall Tucker Band....sounded as good as it did back in the 80s

Machines were eating our money with absolutely no return. Went to the 3 card parker table and the man was as.rude as hell and even made several mistakes while we were all playing. If we have to correct the dealer and catch his mistakes and show him how to.play then what is the sense in having a dealer? The whole experience was a complete disaster. Non of the 20+ machines we were playing on were paying out. So we left and went next door and made most of our money back. Will not be back to this casino again. Not until they clean their act up.

Love every second of it. A bit overpriced on the weekends, but everyone was so nice!

Great atmospehere and peaceful environment. Dealers are nice and helpful.

As a fan of casinos, they rarely deserve one star, but this one used to deserve 5, so I hate to only give it 3. Maybe if the industry picks up in this area. But until then this sits fairly in the middle of the available options for casino, rooms, and food, in individually and collectively.

The seafood buffet is great for the price. The buffet menu is extensive and you get unlimited free glasses of wine white or red while you dine. Probably the best buffet in the Tunica casino area.

Chilean Sea Bass, King Crab Legs, Fried Oysters and Brussel Sprouts with Blue Cheese Sauce and Crumbles, Mixed Greens Salad, and Carrot Cake!!! The Fried Oysters and Brussel Sprouts were amazing!!!

The sports book has helped, but you can definitely tell the dialing back on the food portions and overall value of your food at the pickle and jam. Still probably the best casino in Tunica.

Too smoky and even the non-smoking area is a joke since it's upstairs but connected to the smoking area.

The best place in Tunica they take care of you and it's always a great environment

It was good. Buffet was average. Cashiers & wait team was polite. Salad bar & serving & dining areas were very clean.

Everything was nice EXCEPT the age limit of the pool. As of Nov '18 you must be 18. By 8 y.o. was devastated she couldn't swim

My favorite casino , I always win or break even , so I guess that's why I like them. I don't live in Memphis anymore to go as often . But they comps are great. They always send coupons that's worth taking a mini vacation to cash in. The food is great also. The buffet has a lot of choice for everyone. The snack bar has the best veggie pizza.

GoldStrike has been remodeled and is very nice. I love the bed- so comfy.

Enjoyed my visit to this casino. Will definitely return.

The facility is pretty nice, unfortunately the maschine payouts are bad at Gold Strike Casino.

I live in Arlington, TN and I will continue to gladly go to GS instead of that casino in West Memphis. There hasn't been one time where I've gone to GS and not won. No big jackpots but I walk out with what I went in with and some. The ONLY casino I go to. You won't be disappointed...unless your a gambling addict

We didn't stay at the hotel but we played the slots and had a great time the staff was very friendly and helpful I would have to say that the gold strike is the best casino in tunica we will definitely be back thank y'all for everything

Gold strike is a nice place. We came to see Sinbad, but unfortunately he had to cancel. I look forward to coming back.

Rooms were fine. Smoke smell was overbearing at times.

Don't take to much money there. Better when it was Circle Circle.

Very very disappointed. First off, I have never been there before so we reserved online. Well dont do that because you wont receive any perks for being a newbie. You cant use the luggage carts yourself. You have to "pay" for it. There really isnt that many machines or even a good variety. One flat pillow per person, no exhaust fan in bathroom. Hair dryer kept overloading plug in and the room was so damp you stuck to the sheets. Was not worth the amount of money and food sucked. Their new bar n grill had lousy service, very costly(a super small club sandwich...$13 and it was imitation cheese slices on it...gross. The brisket sandwich had no flavor. The only good thing that night there was watching a guy propose , down on knee, to his lady..please do not stay here if your gambling. It is not worth it at all. I didnt even want to put a star but cant post reviews till I added star.

Rude a.f. dealer at the table needs an attitude adjustment
