If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit HotelBuIIy. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!

Stayed in the Rush tower and absolutely loved our room. Wonderful place and vibe. HUGE room. Lots of great little extras like toothpaste and travel toothbrushes, which was SO helpful since I had forgotten mine. Check in was quick and the you d man at the desk was extremely pleasant and fun to talk to. Will definitely stay here again.

Vic and Anthony's steak house is my favorite place to take out of town guests... they always serve and present our meal like we are the only guests there. I will continue to go there knowing we will be treated special. Sad to hear the Chef is gone that I admired so much but still had an amazing time this weekend..

We were at the convention center here for a work meeting. The staff was super attentive. Breakfast was delicious, the snacks were abundant. Only complain was lunch; it was a bit too salty for my liking.

We are not much of a Vegas family until we came across 'Old Vegas' and the funky flare that it has.
Very nostalgic. The history of the Golden Nugget with Bugsy Segel is infamous to say the least and the Golden Nugget at one point was the largest casino in the world!
Not to mention now with the night life and carnival feel of Fairmont street. Super entertaining. Some for everybody for sure.

Good beds, great bathroom linens, fabulous food(especially @ Anthony and Victors), efficient and knowledgeable staff.

The Golden Nugget is classic Vegas at it's finest. It's got a prime location reasonable parking, and feels pretty safe for the Fremont area.
They do have two things that are not to be missed, the world's largest gold Nugget, which is not really what I would expect to be Nugget in shape. The second cool thing to see is their shark pool in the middle of the pool area. Once the pool area reopens there is a slide that goes through the middle of aquarium.

I've stayed here multiple times. It's the nicest hotel downtown, and the most expensive. There is a few very good restaurants inside, and a lively casino. If you are just looking for a place to rest your head I would suggest finding a cheaper place. If you are splurging for a nice getaway, the Nugget fits the bill.

Great pool! My kids had a blast swimming and going through the waterslide that takes you through a tunnel through a shark tank. The room was nice and clean, and the price was right.

Love this place. Really nice room and great casino floor with new slots.

Great Hotel on Fremont Experience! Beautiful, Gorgeous Pool, and Lots of Restaurants.

We stopped in to see the shark tank. It was pretty cool how they have the waterslide go through it. Good location if you want to do Fremont Street.

So far so good. First time in Vegas and it's great!

Oh my goodness. This casino has been on earth since the 1800s, or so it feels that way. Everything was very confusing to me and seemed really old. Restaurants were overbooked and very crowded. There was little space to move about but the street view to Freemont was nice.

Ehhh. So so. Didn t hate it. The dog in the photo got out when the maid came. He s an escape artist. The visual of him running down the hall with her chasing him was priceless! Woulda felt bad but the privacy tag was on the door so all is fair.

This hotel is in old Vegas, so never really gave it any thought in staying here, however we visited the hotel and one of their Mexican Restaurants. I have to say the hotel is Beautiful the prices for food and drinks are wayyyyyyyy cheaper. I would stay here on a return visit.

Great place to visit. All of the glam of the strip at a very affordable Price. Drinks are cheap, gambling is fun and you are right on Freemont!

It's been 15yrs since I visited Las Vegas so the change is incredible and the hotels spectacular. I only was coming in for one night so the golden nugget had the best deal. Glad I did the hotel is much better then before. It has gone thru a major renovation and it shows. The room was big clean and comfortable. It is also dog friendly though I didn't see any. They do charge a fee but I don't know the price. The down side is there is no grass so you have to relieve your puppies along the side of the building in the bushes. If you plan a short stay think about the golden nugget I would come again. The hotel has several places to eat one is the claim jumpers. It is open 24 hours which is great for when you are hungry at those odd hours.

Had a blast here for a pool party. You can rent out cabanas for a private section and take the water slide through the middle of a shark tank. You go down the slide pretty fast, can barley see the sharks. But you can swim along the out side of the tank and see the sharks just fine that way.

Cocktail waitresses come to you for food and beverage orders. It s a fun place to lounge by the pool or play a game of Black Jack at the table by the pool.

Had a fun day here. Cabanas are pricy, but hey it s your own private area and you don t have to worry about people taking your spot when you go to swim.

Our room was rather old, and out of date, rust in the bath tub, the air conditioner could not keep up with the 100+ temps. Hotel staff was friendly, with the exception of the front desk. There was a 30 minute wait to check in, and although we had reserved a room with a king size bed, we were told that none were available and were put in a room with 2 "double" beds. We were told that we "requested" a king size bed. The restaurants in the casino were just ok, and the wait staff was not friendly or fast. This was my first and probably last stay at the Golden Nugget.

Good gym no coffee pot in room tho they expect you will buy overpriced starbux in lobby

Our favorite place to stay. Downtown has so much to offer. The rooms have been updated. The pool is so much fun and the adult pool is a great hidden gem to get away. Always a good time at the Golden Nugget

One of the best hotels on fremont street! Great staff, pool, rooms, and amentities. Not to mention right in the heart of the best vegas nightlife!

Beautiful old style downtown Las Vegas destination! I love visiting their restaurants and the shark tank swimming pool is definitely a must see!

The room was spacious, the bed, lighting and central air were comfortable, and there were enough outlets to properly charge your devices near the bed. Its distance right beside Fremont Street was also a treat and a great experience for first-time tourists of the old strip.

However, there were a couple of broken facilities during my stay. 2 out of 4 elevators weren't working, the toilet was slightly loose from the floor, and the bath tub was clogged.

So getting into vallet line is a long frustrating process. They lost my luggage from the car to the room too two hours to locate. The shower was clogged and get this the say they have run out of wash clothes. How does a casino run out of wash clothes. I'm calling shenanigans. And who pays for a total remodel and no refrigerators? Suspect!!!!!!!

The Golden Nugget casino is nice and being close to Fremont Street is great. The rooms are fairly priced and adequate (although no mini fridge) and the service staff is friendly. The elevators always have crazy lines it seems, only half seem to be running and they have quite a few minor cosmetic that seem sketchy. The restaurants inside are pretty good but service can tend to be slow.

Service was ok, but there was a bicycle group that was here that kept their bicycles in their rooms. So they took them up and down on the elevators. It really sucks when you have to wait or trip around bicycles in the hallways. The hotel should have had a designated spot for the bikes.

The machines were great. The facilities were beautiful and clean. Had an upbeat feel, with lively music. Was surprised that the smoker smell was not bad at all. Bartender was a grouch, and liquor shots are smallish.

We have been waiting for a spot at the pool for over 2 hours. It's virtually impossible to get in the pool. This should be told to anyone making a reservation. BS

Staff were all very helpful, location is great and of course the pool is beautiful. Loved our stay here.

Had fun with slots. So many things to see very exciting.

They debit money of the creditcard when you have a zero bill.
Whimpers of last gast in badroom. 3 of the 6 elevevators in working what means that you have to wait. From room to parking 1 hour..But the money is the big thing for me.

Staying on the strip is very nice. If your in Vegas though you really should go downtown. They have really fixed it up nice. There is so much to do and when downtown head over to the Golden Nugget. Classic but remodeled casino hotel. The games are varied and the payouts are ok. Really fun down there now.

We have been really enjoying our stay here! The room is excellent (even though it wasn't the one we booked - our airline screwed us over so the hotel was out of the room we booked by the time we were able to check in) and the staff have been very communicative with us. All the restaurants we have visited so far have been great with wonderful staff. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

Too many homeless people killed the experience for us. I want a vacation. Not a downer. If I wanted that I'd stay home. Get a program in place las vegas!!!

Walked thru and found Starbucks and tryed to see the shark tank but couldn't get in

The place is really nice, I personally like the main pool and water slide through the shark tank. It's always busy, nice staff and its one of my go-to places when ever I stay in Vegas.

Awesome place to hangout with friends and drink till crack a** of dawn.

Love the apartment or penthouse suites, affordable for old Vegas and not far from the strip

The room was nice, but most of the elevators were broken during my stay so there were lines of people trying to get to rooms. The casino is very fun and large. The restaurants had great food as well.

The staff is always ready to help you, from the front desk to housekeeping! For example, I needed uber but did not have an app and was helped to put an app and was instructed on how to use for first time! My trips were a success and pleasant.

We love the retro feel of downtown and the Golden Nugget leads the way. Good restaurants....better odds of winning than the strip....beautiful pool....close proximity to Freemont St. Experience.
The only negative is that we always have to complain about the cleanliness of our room...so 4 stars.

Fiance Ken and I had a great time there, We play the slots and pretty much broke given. It was a nice place and the waitresses were very nice and the hotel staff or great too.

Great place for an impromptu stay in Vegas, would have rated 5 stars if the resort fees wouldn't have been mandatory for simply a nights stay (we didnt have time for the gym, pool or any other amenities), as it was an extra almost $100 for two people and we didnt get any use out of it. Otherwise, the place was amazing! That shark tank caught my eye every single time we walked by

Very cool hotel and part of old vegas history. Hotel appeared to be very clean. They did a nice job of mixing a modern aesthetic with the old. Awesome pool and slide through a clear aquarium full of fish and sharks. Reasonably priced hotel, restaurants, and casino. I would stay here.

Came on a business trip. Had a blast after hours. Fremont St is worth the trip to drink and people watch!

I loved the old style of the Golden Nugget. Service was amazing drinks were good and slots are lucky . Right of freemont street so you get shows as you walk out. Very nice

Awesome remodel since the last time I was there. The pool is amazing, I wish I were staying here instead of on the strip. I LOVED this place before the remodel, and now I think it's really classed up. Downside, however, is that now the table games have higher limits (10). This isn't such a big deal tho, since Binions and the four queens are about a 2 minute walk away and have cheap ($5) table games.

If you plan to visit Vegas, you MUST check out the golden nugget pool!!

Love the lights/history but there low ceilings make the cigarette smoke unbearable.

The old strip has way more charm than the new strip.casino had some decent low value to play machines so you can stay for hours playing 10c - 25c at a time getting lots of free drinks.just remember to tip your waitress,no tip and they wont ask if you want another! Drinks to buy at any bar in Vegas are super expensive. $1-2 tip per drink will be enough to keep them coming back to you. you're welcome :-D

The drinks were reasonably priced and the service from the waitresses was excellent. The dealers were also great we sat at the tables for ages and had a fantastic time. We will definitely be going back. The evening was great.

I stayed at the Golden Nugget just last week and I was quite disappointed. Upon arrival with 1 large and 1 small suitcase , there are 3 sets of steps to navigate and no ramp. It might seem small but dragging suitcases down stairs is ridiculous. Check in was quick and easy. The room was adequate with a king bed and very nice linens but housekeeping is lacking. The second morning we had discovered no clean towels and the next day the room hadn't been cleaned by 2 PM! We relaxed in the room for 2 hours , went to dinner and still no clean room by 9 pm.
We had reserved a cabana for our Sunday at the pool and discovered there was no elevator to the 3 rd floor and was told it hadn't been working for 3 years... really! Imagine my handicapped friend being taken to our 3rd floor by freight elevator! For the price of $455 I would have expected a few snacks and soft drinks. Water was the only item included. I definitely felt ripped off. I don't think I'll return.

The golden nugget... We had such a wonderful time here!! Every place we went was superb. The food was great, the service was great, everyone was so helpful and friendly! I will definitely go back every time!!

REALLY ENJOY GN... the casino is large but comfortable the people really nice and the Rush Toweris great. visiting a few times a year and though we visit other casinos the Goldwn Nugget always feels like home at the end of the day

Fun atmosphere. Games are not as expensive as strip casinos.

Probably the best hotel in the downtown area. Reasonable price and has a nice pool as a plus. Parking garage is also close and on a back street so easy to get in and out of.

The Golden Nugget is one of my favorite downtown casinos. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the pool is breathtaking. You can swim side by side with real live fish while your body shoots down the huge tube slide.. The slots are fun and loose and the people that work there are all very sweet and nice.
