Very popular spot. They have one of the coolest water slides around. Over all very nice place and a good selection in the casino.

Great service and pool area but the rooms aren't very sound proof and the rooms don't have much in them
It's a great hotel and I would have played the machines more but the smoke is a killer!! I couldn't stay out in the lobby or game area without getting a heartache or feeling sick to my stomach. It would be great if at least 1 tower and restaurant area was smoke free so those of us who don't smoke could get around without smelling like an ash tray.
Our rooms were clean, typical hotel room, we were only in them to sleep and shower so it was perfect! I don't think I will ever need to stay on the Strip, I really liked the Downtown experience better The pool is AWESOME & the staff was super nice
The rooms are spacious, the staff friendly. The buffet has a huge variety of good to choose from with a great omelette station. Check out the pool with a slide that goes through the shark tank!
This place is awesome. Right in the heart of Fremont St Experience. Downtown Las Vegas is the place to be.
Whenever we go to Las Vegas we stop by the golden nugget. They seriously have one of the best buffets in the city. The atmosphere is nice and we even sit and gamble a bit before returning to the Venetian (hotel of choice).
Went there to play the slots but didn't find any machines that were hitting so we moved on to another casino. We do like the Golden Nugget and have been thete many times. Just wasn't a good day to play the slots. Hey, they can't always pay out. Will get them next time.
Awesome hotel. Stayed in the rush tower. Clean and modern. Would definitely stay again.
This hotel is one of the best values in vegas. The interior is nice and updated, but it kept the old vegas style in the right areas. The restaurants are very good but not nearly as expensive as the strip.
The hideout pool is amazing for adults with an awesome waitstaff. We rented a cabana and it was well worth it.
The rooms were good enough, especially given the rates.
But most of all, the table games were all fun. I love gambling here because it's a more experienced and seasoned crowd. They will help you if you're new and keep it exciting I'd you're experienced. Most of my vegas trips have been to the strip and from a gambling standpoint they just aren't as fun.
However if you're in the early 20s crowd looking for clubs, the strip is still a better option.
I love going downtown and this is one of my favorite places to go, great poker room, just remember cash plays on the tables in the poker room
Best by the strip casino everyone is helpful nice and clean love bingo
Checking in was friendly and easy. Staff was helpful. Affordable and clean rooms. Sufficiently air conditioned. Clean towels and linens. The giant fish tank is awesome. The asian restaurant on site smelled delicious but never got the opportunity to go. Starbucks on site made it convenient to get morning coffee. Got drinks at the bar and all the staff was very nice and helpful.
Fun place to stay off the strip. Freemont is a hoot and a half. It's like a never ending party every night. Good rooms, decent casino and there's a Vic and Anthony's. Will stay again.
Nice casino hotel. It was very clean and organized.
Overrated. High priced, slots are tight. They charged me 45.00 for a coffee pot in room with 4 coffee single cup. Do I need to go on.
Walked through on the way to Fremont Street and loved the look of the pool. Plan to make a return visit to spend more time and try out the pool and slide.
Always have loved the Nugget Not to big not to small just right
Great time and really decent prices on drinks compared to typical Vegas pricint. Awesome atmosphere
Favorite casino. Way better then Cesar s I m not a old person either
To Whom it May Concern:
I love the Nugget. I have stayed there at least twice a year for the last 15 years. My friends and I have a tradition of going to Vegas and I always talk them into the Nugget even if the want to stay on the strip.
My concern this last time the room 22210 during my stay of Thursday to Sunday was upsold this room which is great. I like the free water and elevator snacks, security. When I arrived to the room I found it to be dirty. Some things prior guest left behind/ looked like reused shower shampoo and the vanity light did not work. The toilet room walls had buggers on it. All this not a huge deal as it had clean sheets which I didn t feel the need to call. Not one time during my stay was the room cleaned which I found odd. I guess what I m trying to tell you is that I have always had and expect nice accommodations and this time I didn t receive that. I had a great time in Vegas but it will be difficult for me to continue my tradition at the Nugget Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully make it right.
Sincerely,
Jason
Lots of people having fun. Shark tank was cool to see.
Very active older hotel. Lots to do within walking distance. The Claim Jumper restaurant was very good. Price was what you'd expect for the location. $$$
Great fun lots to choose from. Good food. Only thing it is way to smokey
I loved the casinos in downtown Vegas. This one was great n fun to play. The machine were loose.
Love this place. I always Gamble here and win. The drinks are awesome and you can take your own drink if you want.
Very different with Covid-19 but they are trying. Have to give them props for that and I brought Clorox wipes and my sanitizer. Masks are required and as long as we work together to keep safe I will be back. Surprised that there wasn't a temperature check though.
Hotel in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. Busy, friendly helpful staff. Close by is the stop to catch the Deuce bus to the strip
That's what they get for moving their rideshare pick up location into the parking garage. The fumes in there are killing me. I will stay away from this place from now on.
Very disappointed. Felt rushed checking in, unaware I was going to be charged a resort fee, it was done deceitfully. Allegiant and hotel have a huge communication problem. Hotel desk clerk refused to give me voucher for buffet as promised by Allegiant. The desk clerks were rude.
Great hospitality, very well kept establishment. Cowboy bacon is great at the claim jumper.
This is a Vegas staple. We only gambled here. We went on a Sunday and the crowd was older than on the strip. The casino is nicely updated and the pool has a shark tank in it. Worth a visit if you're near Fremont Street
The atmosphere was very cool. It has that authentic feel.
Best pool downtown and a great place to gamble and grab a drink. Pool open to locals I believe
Such a great vibe. Very different than being on the strip. Hands down, the coolest Casino in Old Vegas. Poker Room has no limit to the buy ins, which is awesome.
Old Vegas vibes. Plenty of gaming. Right off Fremont Street. The largest gold nugget is in here somewhere. I looked but never found it.
Fun pool area with shark tank in the middle, wonderful service, pool side asked a number of times if we needed anything, claim jumper and Cadillac bar had outstanding service. Very helpful checking in, great prices, roomy guess room, somethings could be updated a little repairs here and there. Had a better time and better service then paying 4 times the price at Bellagio! Fun Fremont street entertainment.
Good quality hotel for North Las Vegas. You have a movie house in the hotel which is a big plus. Restaurant selection are average, to have a TGIF is generic. I just wish it was smoke free. Hoping for progress hotel that is going clean air smoke free hotel. The rooms are modern and nice set up. Could be kept a bit better. Not the cleanness room if you give it a deep inspection.
It was ok just kinda strolled through and did a quick tour
Aloha travelers! The Golden Nugget is one of my favorites in downtown. Had THANKSGIVING 2018 there, great food, and huge buffet. Aside from a warmer piece of Prime Rib, their service wa excellent! Captain Stan Howard IRS Enrolled Agent #73044
All I can say is EXCEPTIONAL! We were floored when we walked into our suite! This hotel from original Vegas on Fremont Street has been beautifully remodeled and hosts several high-end restaurants. Our suite was the nicest we'd ever stayed in; the master bath area featured a tiled shower, dual designer sinks and separate water closet, and the bed and linens were exquisitely comfortable. Contemporary color study paintings dressed the entire resort along with light fixtures by Dale Chihuly. Best of all, pets are welcome, and our French Bulldog loved it as much as we did.
Beautiful place, friendly employees, many things to do. You do not have to gamble to have fun. Many different restaurants. Lots of activities outside the Golden Nugget.
Such a great time. Went to rush lounge and has so much fun dancing and making new friends. JULIA. WHERE ARE YOU AND THE RICK'S??
Great casino, always active and great drink service. Great selection of machines as well. It
First time staying at Golden Nugget in the Gold Tower. Loved the convenience of the location and a great New Years Eve party. However, with the resort fees we paid, I would have expected a coffee maker and a mini fridge in the room ($10 per day to "rent" coffee maker). I would have settled for complimentary coffee for guests in the lobby if it was offered. Overall though, the room was nice and clean and the Grotto Restaurant was great.
Would stay here again and may try the Rush Tower.
Well tables were fun but lost money as I kept playing. Pro Tip: Quit when you are ahead!
We had a great time staying at the Golden Nugget. Fremont street was spectacular! All the bars and restaurants are great downtown, but it's the music and lively entertainment that draw the crowds. If you're looking for something a little different in Vegas, give it a shot.
Golden Nugget is a classic stable of Downtown. Friendly staff and decently clean public spaces. The rooms were nice but not refrigerator, which is always nice to have in a hotel space. Nice showers too.
It's campy, good location. We were just there to play slots. No complaints really but nothing too special
The Real Las Vegas!!! We stayed at another big time Vegas casino but never again. Golden Nugget was awesome! Glad we visited!
It's def that old Vegas feel. It's unfortunate how the place reeked of smoke and liquor. Security was all over the place and following bums around within the casino
Love this casino! Cheap tables pretty girls and fun games. Drinks are a bit expensive.
This is a staple on Fremont Street in Las Vegas! Beautiful Hotel and Casino! Calm environment in the Casino area. Thank you for the great experience! We will definitely be back to stay and gamble in the near future! Cheers!
Nice room, loose slots. I was concerned though aboit their Covid practices. Not alot of hand sanitizer stations around or staff wiping games down etc. No temp check at all for patrons entering their casino. They were very lax compared to other casinos.
Good location easy to get to the strip on a bus. The Golden Nugget has free parking and valet parking for free. Rooms are in good condition. Good service all the way around.
Right downtown so always a fun atmosphere. An older casino, Smokey hotel but good rates. Nice restairants around.
Cool place right on Fremont Street. Older Hotel though and no pool during the winter
Good location of you want to be at Fremont Street. Not very impressed with the room or service. Front desk is closed at night until 11 the next morning. Lost our key and couldn't find how to get a be one. Nobody there knew what to do. Should be open 24 hours. Asked someone working in the casino where to find hand sanitizer. They said "we don't have that in the casino". Wouldnt stay there again. I realize services are reduced with the virus situation but there is some minimum of they place is going to be open
Maybe my hopes were too high, but I walked into the lobby and the smell of smoke nearly choked me. We got put onto a smoking room because there was nothing else available ugh and they said it s smoking optional, so it might not be too bad... it was so bad. I went down to see if there was another room. Got one, but when we got there, it was clearly not cleaned. Bed sheets and towels everywhere. So we went back down for another room. The room we got finally was fine ... except super loud and bright from the Fremont experience outside. Even with earplugs. But I was so tired I couldn t be bothered to get another change. We paid a lot more than I would have expected for that level of room. It was a terrible experience, I wouldn t stay there again. The staff did try, I think. They were pleasant enough.
Had a blast. Lots if fun and entertainment and the city really doesn't sleep.
Stayed in the Rush Tower and absolutely loved the room. Had 2 tv's with a nice sitting area which was great so my friends and I could get buzzed before heading out. Had two sinks and shower was large even for a big boy like me. Excellent customer service the only thing is casino is a little smokey even though not that many people were actually smoking.
The shark tank pool was nice just wish they didn't close so early on weekend. Room service was quick and food was nice and hot.
The Nugget keeps getting better! This trip we stayed in the Carson Tower, which houses the lower priced rooms. In the past, I have not been happy with them. This time, however, the room was awesome! They spruced them up a bit, and for the little bit of time spent in the room, it was great. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the shower was hot! The only thing that wasn't perfect was the TV. The volume wouldnt adjust down unless you turned it off. That wasn't a big deal to us.
The staff at the Golden Nugget has, in the past, been a bit surely and uncooperative. I am not sure if they have a new program in place or something, but the service was wonderful. There were plenty of free drinks, and people asking 8f we needed anything. I really cannot say enough about how nice and pleasant our visit was.
Nice casino with the famous gold nugget. It's at the heart of Fremont St with lots of activities.
Wow super fun definitely a place to go for fun and at night more lights than you can imagine
I have gone to Las Vegas many times in my life, and of those memorable vacations it was often the Golden Nugget that I stayed at. The casino is nice, though I have not spent much time in it. It is the interesting pool that first caught my attention when searching for a hotel to stay at, who can disagree with a shark tank after all. The only problem with the pool, is that if you are not there when it opens in the morning you have little chance of finding a good seat. Still when you can you get a seat, sitting by the pool side is a very pleasant thing to do. The hotel rooms are nothing really special to mention, but they re clean and comfortable and that s all you can really ask. What I love most about this hotel is all the glasswork, each area of the hotel Sporting A different kind of chandelier, beautiful and something you will without a doubt take pictures of.
We only went for the pool, which has 100% more sharks than other pools. We had a great time, and they rented us a daybed which was cheaper than regular admission. Had a grilled ham and cheese and a drink that were good. The waterslide through the shark tank is fun, but it's hard to actually see anything
Would swim again.
I didn t stay here but I went to eat breakfast here and I was so surprised at how beautiful the interior of this hotel was. We will consider this hotel for future stays.
Very nice place. My only issue was I lost money on keno on my last night because the worker decided to leave early so I never received the money from my for number ticket
I stopped in here to see some of casino and play some games. Overall it wasn't bad but I think the newer casinos at the other end of the strip are more fun.
Great rooms great people fun safe friendly good times
Come on Steve, you renovated it back in the 80s. It's getting pretty ghetto now. Time for renovation
Great improvements. Rooms are really nice. Parking is complimentary-and the pools are beautiful
Beautiful property, great restaurants, great atmosphere, the pool is incredible. The rooms are large and spacious, very clean.. The staff is very helpful. I would definitely stay here again and again.
Everything was clean.
I was only picking up a friend
Great place! Great location! GREAT PRICES! Casino was a blast....staff was awesome! Walked to walgreens for fresh cut fruit daily! Loved it,
Absolutely breath taking. Come on down. We're here till tomorrow. Happy 4th of july
Classic casino, deff worth a visit due to sheer historic value - Oh check out that bigass gold nugget too, WOW! what a whopper!
Had a blast here probably could stay a week and not do everything
In my opinion the Golden Nugget is the best casino in Las Vegas and Henderson. It is an icon. The casino also has a great buffet and competes with any 5 star in town.
The shark tank and restaurant in the back are the only 2 reasons I need to say that im definitely going back.
Amazing Hotel and Casino. Friendly staff and excellent service all around. I would recommend this place to anyone just visiting or to any of the looking to just take a relaxing break from home.
Updated rooms and overall a good hotel on Fremont Street
If you successfully remove the golden nugget and don't get caught you get to keep it!
