The casino was a really nice casino, the Room that we had was right next to the elevator so you could hear it go up-and-down all night had to leave the fan on high to kind of drownded out and they were older rooms the shower was kind of grungy. My biggest issue with it was we were there for 3 days and never did get a Room cleaned, even after multiple times of asking. We finally went to go the front desk and beg for clean towels on the 3rd day, They brought 2 clean towels to the Room and did not make the bed, didn't empty the trash can or anything...

Looks like a nice place so far right on Fremont St. Beware of the scams as you walk away from the check in counter. They want you to waste your time sitting thru a seminar so they can sell you something. Just ignore them and you'll be fine

Visited the Golden Nugget while on Fremont Street. Was able to spend a good chunk of changed and get good food for a reasonable price. It's at the end of Femont from the bus stop, but worth the visit. Really one of the old lasting gems of the strip. Would visit again.

We ate the seafood buffet on a Friday evening. The selection of seafood was fabulous and well prepared! Snow crab was juicy!! Service for drinks and clearing of plates was extremely prompt. Be sure to save room for dessert cause there are about 50 to choose from!

One of the nicest rooms I ve ever stayed in. It was very modern and clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. However the lunch buffet was marginal at best. Will definitely stay there again!

My mom and I recently stayed here and got a room upgrade! We were upgraded to rush tower and were super excited! The room was nice however I was a little disappointed as it seems they cut some corners. The water in our room never got really hot and the warm water ran out rather quickly. There were also almost no outlets in the room and the robe in our closet had holes in it. I also was let down by room service. Our clean towels had makeup stains on them. We got new towels that were fine. That being said the bed was comfortable and the room looked great!!!

Their buffet is the best in Vegas. Chicken and waffles with candied bacon topping, eggs benedict and bloody marys galore!

Of course, they have an omelette bar, and a dessert bar. And you'll run into many different types while hanging at the Nugget.

The Golden Nugget is the best hotel/casino on Fremont Street. The only major downside to it is the table games, which have weird rules and bad odds. The rooms are very nice, and affordable as well.

The Nugget is excellent, rooms are reasonably priced, clean & comfortable. Great restaurants here. They are right downtown in Old Vegas, with some nice attractions in the area. Was there in April 2017

One of Vegas gems. It is a older hotel downtown. After all the renovations the towers are amazing. I celebrated my birthday here with a suite and girlfriends. I am a local and will always plan a stay cation here because the pool is amazing. Staff is great and always entertainment steps away

Our flight was early and although our room was ready we were asked to pay 30.00 to check in early. Be ready for a resort fee but there are no amenities. We called ahead of time to ask about in room coffee, was told that each room has a keurig....get here and there is none. When asked about it, we were told that we could rent one for $10.00 per day plus $16.00 for 4 coffee pods. Outrageous! The attitude of management was not very helpful. Would not stay here again for those reasons.

The pool here is amazing and it has an aquarium in the middle of it and a waterslide. If you would like to play some games by the pool and have a drink in a relaxing setting with a waterfall then this is the spot. I love this place, there's so much to do here.

We enjoyed our stay, besides having to dodge the time share people every time we went back to our room (you d think after about 50 times they d recognize you.) Buffets were excellent, all staff was friendly and it s right on the Fremont Experience! Overall we enjoyed our time at the GN.

This was hands down my favorite place to stay on Fremont Street! They put a little extra effort into making their rooms a step up from other places on Fremont. Wine glasses in the hotel room & a fancy looking ice bucket makes a big difference to make it feel a little more upgraded. Plus their pool is awesome!! The shark tank is my favorite

Great value if you want to be part of the Freemont Street fun and don't mind being away from the glitz of the strip. Awesome hotel pool. Valet parking staff and bell hop were awesome. Will stay here again.

Old school casino down on Fremont Street little bit smokey but still a lot of fun definitely lots of history there and the shark tank bar is awesome with a water slide going through the shark tank

Nice

The Golden Nugget was an excellent place to stay. The room was gorgeous and very clean and the ability to walk out of the hotel right onto freemont and in the action was great. It was about a ten or fifteen minute walk to container park and a twenty minute walk to medmen. There were tons of great places to go all within walking distance and it was about a twelve dollar uber to the strip but with everything around freemont we only went once out of a four day trip. Check out the freemont right across the street for the best dinner deals just be aware of the times they serve them and get there early they do not take phone reservations only walk in.

Just like any other casino. The Golden Nugget is a great place to stay in Las Vegas. If you have a bad experience, it's probably your inability to have a good time. Venture out onto the Fremont Experience and you will wish you were back at the Nugget.

Great staff and overall experience. The pool was well maintained and very comfortable, the cabanas are definitely worth renting. The rooms were spacious. Mini fridges cost extra which I wasn't a fan of and the casino staff is lax. Lots of great restaurants in hotel to enjoy.

Such great fun. My little family had a blast. We walked Freemont St. every night. Ate at the Garden Buffet across the street. The swimming pool has a freaking shark tank in the middle. So awesome. Our room was always clean. The service was amazing. We loved every minute of every night. We are excited to return in the near future. Thank you.

Recently spent two nights at the Golden Nugget. It was my second stay there; the first was five years ago. It is my favorite place that I've found so far in Vegas. You will love the old school atmosphere combined with the updated Frmont Street experience.

Lots of fun energy and bar staff is nice. They did some cool tricks with the drink pouring and they were very generous with the vodka. Only stayed for a half hour or so, but as a short-term visitor hopping between casinos, I had a blast!

Room and hotel were clean. They only have double beds which are pretty small and bed is super soft/bouncy and we prefer firm. Safe wasn't working so had to have batteries changed: maintenance came to fix within the hour. Tub drains slowly so by the time you are done showering there's water up above your ankles . 2 bottles of complimentary water are included with resort fee but you have to request it daily which is a pain. Every day it took at least half an hour to bring it up and we were ready to leave the room for the day but had to wait for water delivery. Main reason we stayed at GN was location and also for the pool. Only 1 day was warm enough to swim and the slide closed for maintenance though I never saw it being worked on. And we only saw one shark once so not sure where the shark were. My little girl was bummed about that. My 13 year made 3 long distance calls which cost $10.28 each for 2 which were answering machine only was reached and $11.38 for a very short call. I have no idea why the cost was so high. My biggest complaint is the resort fee. It covers free parking, the water you have to request daily, newspaper in the lobby, use of exercise room , wifi and printing boarding passes. The parking is $20 per day for anyone so the $36 per day fee is nuts. Most hotels print boarding passes for free anyway. And we never use the exercise room or read the paper. We tried to use wifi but it didn't connect. There aren't many hotels that don't charge resort fees but next time we'll stay at one that doesn't. A lot of reviewers complain about noise from the bands. First 3 nights were quiet for us but last night we could hear it but it didn't keep us awake. We were in Carson tower. Didn't have any good views but that was ok. We had breakfast at the buffet. Lots of selections. Average/ typical buffet. Lots of restaurant/bar choices but we didn't use. Thankfully we got a non smoking room but I could occasionally smell smoke. Overall, an average stay. Would rate higher if no resort fee, if free water would automatically be brought up, if time share people didn't stop us every time we walked by and if they didn't charge outrageous fees for calls from the room and if the wifi had better connectivity. I'd much rather had just paid daily parking rate and let them keep their water and wifi but that isn't an option.

A beautiful hotel and a delight to stay at. The hotel has everything you need to relax or work. The rooms are quiet where you can't hear neighbors, the views are all great, the location is ideal where you can easily walk the strip day or night, yet have the shopping mall very close.

When you visit Vegas the hotels on the strip are amazing but you should definitely go to freemont and stop by some of the old original casinos. Bonus is the minimums are also usually less.

Stayed in the Rush Tower at GN. The rooms were nice and clear, very comfortable. Our room was facing Fremont Street experience so could hear music from below at night. It wasn't too bad, but if you're sensitive to sound while trying to sleep it might be an issue for some. Ate at Grotto, had the best salad ever (pear something).

If I could give it a 10, I would.

If I could give it a 10, I would.
One of the nicest rooms I ever stayed in (Rush tower)
Got an upgrade. Thank you.
The pool is a 10. Slide is great, and aquarium is nice.
Chairs in the water are a plus.
Not enough chairs for everyone, so get their early.
The best thing is the location.
Come out the back and you experience old Vegas.
A 10 in fun!

The gambling here is cheaper which is nice if you don't want to blow through your gambling allowance.
The game table staff are so bored with there jobs it is hard to stay excited while playing.
