First class experience here. Rooms are very nice and comfortable, great view from 14th floor. Located on Freemont street you can be right in middle of all the action. You are walking distance from several attractions including the Mob Museum . The buffet is very good. Cant wait to hit the pool!

Pool is awesome but smokers were putting cigarettes out on the deck without anyone addressing it. Same for casino, smoke was not being sucked out by air handlers and ashes were everywhere on a few of the tables I was at. Time has come for a smoke free casino and hotel, I'd up my yearly visit by three if that was offered.

Wonderful staff, especially room services. They do everything to make your stay go smooth and the rooms are super clean and well maintained. The hotel keeps its old charm but is still absolutely stunning and its conveniently placed right off Fremont. Hands down my favorite hotel!

Loved the hotel, was very nice. Staff seemed pleasant to deal with. Pool was amazing.
Downside to our stay was I left our cleaner a $15.00 tip. We went down to breakfast and came back up to our room and noticed our cleaner had not yet been in but $10 dollars was taken and $5 remained. Don't know who took it but a lady who claimed she was a supervisor tried to get into our room multiple times that morning while we were still inside and I eventually had to put the latch lock on the door so she would stop walking in on us. Was our last day there so I didn't bother making a complaint.
I would still highly suggest staying here.

Did a quick walk through the lobby. It is quite different and renovated than what I remember of it many years ago. The Fremont street skyline has changed every since they demolished what I believe was either Las Vegas club or binions horse shoe and all the other hotels are doing their best to make themselves look good or suffer the same fate as the hotel across the way.

It was ok . My other half got prime rib it was extremely fatty . I got the specialty platter it was very average nothing special .the lava cake is fabulous and the wait staff is really nice. Fish tanks nice for ambiance.

1st time staying in downtown, and this left a good impression!

Probably the best hotel on Fremont. Checkin was surprisingly fast. My suite on the Club level was clean with no hint of a scent of smoke. I accidentally left a large money ticket in a machine at the bar, and a few of the security guys sought me out to bring it back to me. Plenty of restaurant options to choose from, with decent to great (Vic and Anthony's...salivating) food. The service was great and the premises cleaner than any other in downtown Las Vegas.

Just was there for my Bday ! I upgraded my room and loved it we could see the fireworks perfect from our window ! Food at the Mexican place was very good and even better for happy hour at the Chart house ! We all enjoyed the stay . Breakfast at Claim Jumpers was also delish ! I will always stay at the Nugget !

Looked glamorous until actually visiting, it's more of an expensive casino wet bar and sushi place, but I have had better rooms at motel 6 than the one given to me with a reservation booked months previous to my arrival in the Carson tower

Very nice hotel good buffet more reasonable pricing. Located on Freemont st. You are in the heart of many different activities and events. Definitely a nice alternative to the corporate hotels of the main strip.

The check in process is terrible here (staff member) but the rest of the gaming staff are wonderful. The hotel is very clean as is the casino. The restaurants are worth the money. Downside is distance to main strip but plenty to do downtown.

So we ask for an 1 hour later check out and was flat told no. At over double the price of the four queens you would think that one little request would be part of the customer service. I was told that it is at 100% capacity However earlier there was a room available when I was thinking about extending my stay for a day. Absolute customer service fail. Every part of this place is super pricey for what you get as well. Did I mention the customer service? Will be back to Fremont just not here.

Didn't stay there but I should of, clean place to go lose money lol next time if we ever go back again we will say at the golden nugget (my wife hates Las Vegas) so that means we never gonna go back (Alice,Texas )

Staff were friendly. Any issues we're solved quickly. Only complaint is that the casino is older so it's hard to keep the smoke out of the air.

And definitely get the chocolate cake. It's enormous and really delicious.

We really enjoyed the pool/hot tub/water slide. The staff was really nice, when we checked in our room had two twin beds instead of one King and they switched it at our request with no issues. The Cadillac grill was good, stay away from the Asian restaurant, idk if it's just because we are from an area with a lot of authentic Asian restaurants but the one in Golden Nugget is way over priced for the quality of food. Otherwise a great hotel.

This is the worst experience I am having with any hotel. Not worth your money at all. Basic thing like electric kettle is also not provided. I got sick after reaching here. Me and my friends dust allergy is at its peak after checking in into the room provided here. We booked the hotel for four days. Requested for the kettle as we are having severe cold and cough but it was denied and a glass of hot water will cost us $5 as informed by the staff. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

This place was pretty cool to gamble in. The only reason why I take away a star is because we walked in here and within 10 minutes I had a pounding headache from inhaling all the smoke. Most of the casinos you can smoke in, and it's well ventilated for those of us that don't smoke. However, this facility was very nice, just couldn't stay long for that reason.

I like the renovations going on in Downtown, and the upgrades to Golden Nugget are included. They have spent the effort to get ahead of the upgrade going on outside of their casino, so certainly a place in downtown to consider staying.

Stayed next door as we didn't want to pay the exorbitant resort fee, especially considering the time of year and lack of 'resort' options. The showroom is great, not a bad seat in the house and easy to get in and out of, especially when compared to Strip venues. Ticket prices are reasonable, sound quality good as well. We were front row, they didn't have any security or barrier between us and the band (about 6 feet away)! Given the number of great acts booked here, I am certain to return.

Very nice room. However our TV did not work the 1st night. Called down to the front desk, it was not fixed till the 3rd day. Dirty rubber gloves were left on my CPap machine. Someone also spit in our sink and did not clean it out.

Right at Fremont. Lots to see and do. Didn't actually stay here but there was a lot of people. More of an average people kind of place. Street food and musicians and arts out front.

Had a great time here for mine and Chris's birthday, beds were comfy and had a free upgrade to a bigger room. Somethings went wrong like the batteries died on the key lock. T.v. only had 4 channels until we had to notify maintenance fixed it. Defiantly will be coming back since now recreational marijuana is legal there

They are money scammers. Don't trust them with your credit card information!!!! Also don't expect a call back when you try to reach them to file a dispute on the charges made to your account.

I was told by the parking attendant we could park and eat and get a validation at the restaurant. We were just passing thru Vegas and wanted to eat at the casino. So we parked ate and the restaurant refused to give us a validation. We were charged $15 for parking. I think that is ridiculous and if your telling people there is a validation for eating in your restaurant there should be. We were told when we left by a different attendant that we had to be hotel guests to get a validation. Poor communication and customer service.

Super cute pool with a slide and infinity pool for adults and hot tub open until 1am. The bar offers a great selection of food and well priced drinks. $25 for non hotel people but definitely worth it. Super chill atmosphere.

When checking in to our prepaid room, the lady at the counter moved us to a different tower. Nowhere near where the rest of our friends and family were staying, then she argued with me that I didn't really want the room we paid for and rushed us away. Had to speak to someone else and ended up not getting the room we had originally reserved.

I was wowed by the pool area... Mini waterfall , water slide and sharks in a glass tank you pass by as you come down the slide... haven't stayed at the nugget yet but that has definitely sold me on the hotel

First they over charged us for our room that we reserved way ahead of time. Second i asked for my complimentary 16 oz drinks and room service never brought them to my room. So disappointed and upset with this quality this resort has shown. Never coming back. Worst impression ever.
