It was my first time staying at the Golden Nugget. I was very pleased with the amount of restaurants and bars there are in this hotel. Everything is very nice and clean. The pool is awesome and was my favorite part of the hotel. I recommend getting to the pool as early as possible because it gets very crowded.

Good buffet food focused on American cuisine prime rib, ham, turkey and sausages on Sunday. The desert was lovely with varieties of choices but other breakfast stuff just ordinary as usual eggs and cheese.

Settled conveniently on Freemont Street, with The Freemont Experience, downtown Las Vegas. Very nice rooms, several restaurants, several bars, Starbucks, spa, large casino, so many things to do here. There is also a huge pool with live sharks as you go down the slide! I was there during the off season so did not get to experience it, but still got to see an awesome tank, beautiful, with live sharks and other large fish. I will DEFINITELY be going back!

We love going to the Golden Nugget when we're in Downtown! Always fun to walk around, see the large gold nugget on display, and check out the pool area and large fish tank. Probably one of the nicest casinos downtown in my opinion!

Nice hotel and restaurant. Doesn t have the corporate hotel feel and not on the strip. Hotel has a nice layout. Like all casinos the odds are you will lose. Rooms were very nice and everyone working in the hotel was very nice.

I just arrived at the hotel at 2:00 pm. I wait in line to get to the check in counter. The clerk tells me that my rooms are ready. But if I want to check in now it will cost me $30.00 per room to check in now. Otherwise I need to come back in 50 minutes to check in with no additional charge. She goes on to say that the $30.00 fee is random from day to day. So I now have to stand in the lobby with my family and all our luggage for 50 minutes. Then get in the back of the long line to check in with no extra cost. This is crazy.

If I could give it lower stars I would. It was so loud and I'm not talking about the music outside. You could hear everything in the hallways and I mean everything. Nobody got any sleep. I heard that the noice was loud from the music and everything outside and I was like that's understandable but that was manageable the inside of the hotel is so loud people screaming all night. I will never stay here again and I don't think I would recommend it to anyone I know

We had dinner at the grotto which was delicious but a little loud which made it hard to hear each other. The service was nice, and I thought is was well priced considering where you are and what you get.

The bathroom melt a little as it doesn t have very good ventilation and the shower was complicated to turn on and off.

Overall my stay was okay, they lacked non smoker rooms, they put me in a double, they over charged me for the second night, I disputed it to my bank after several attempts with the property. Oh no breakfast, coffee or microwave.

Very clean and nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Would have given a 5 but we pay a high resort fee and the pool was closed SATURDAY due to the water not being balanced. Someone dropped the ball as this should have been taken care of every evening when the pool closes at 630pm. Also the water slide which is a big advertising fact has not been working now for 4 days

Hotel is nice and clean. Staff is very helpful. Taxes, fees are outrageous. They supposed provide daily bottle of water in rooms- for two night we stayed there we had to call receptionist to get them sent bottle of water to our room. Not a big deal, but matter of principle.

The rooms here are nice and spacious . The decor is great! I had a great time... the trumpster showed up( I think he was attracted to the fake gold or all the lites) and we played Black Jack together I whooped his ass 14 times! You'd think being a smelly old fart....he'd be a little bit better at cards and a little smarter. But that's not the case. Definitely try the buffet while you're here it's awesome!

Claim jumpers restaurant was decent food at a decent price. Love the honky tonk flavor the casino gives out. Freemont street had cool look but is so distasteful with the " street performers"

The Golden Nugget casino was nice, our room in the upgraded Carson tower was just ok. The conditions of the bathroom were not great at all. The tub was rusting and the drain was stopped up. Under the sink was a bobby pin not from our stay, so I hope they actually cleaned the room well before we stayed there.

very convenient off Fremont Street one of the few places I could walk up to the bar and get a cocktail right away they didn't cost me $15 didn't go to the restaurants or anything so I can't tell you about that

Our stay at the Golden Nugget was very nice. There was a lot to do and the staff was very helpful. I was a little disappointed in the arcade, my son was looking forward to it but it was very small with a couple of the games that were out of order. The shark tank was very cool though.

This place is lively! The buffet, servers, vallet, pool, and atmosphere are awesome! It's a great place for a weekend getaway. It can be a little pricey, though---especially at any of the bars. I do love how you can just step out onto Freemont Street and watch the light show and zip-liners at night!

Nice large rooms. Nice poker area and service was adequate to our needs. Wife loved the spa massage. Fremont in my opinion was far more fun than the strip. Went to both as a friend stayed at the Paris. Nugget room was more updated and larger.

Nice hotel with lot of rooms. They have a swimming pool with a shark tank and slide. Unfortunately slide was closed when we went there for Thanksgiving holidays in 2018. Better to check with them before booking for slide.

The best old fashioned casino in my opinion. I felt beamed back like 40 years, great atmosphere, very talktive and friendly staff at the tables. I even won some money at the black jack table which was the best part. :)

I was so excited to stay at the Golden Nugget to get the Freemont Street experience. Not impressed in the slightest. The hotel is nice enough (still here), but this is how it s gone... upon check in, our room was filthy, had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Back down to front desk we go - next room is at least clean and with a better view. But lugging 8 suitcases and several bags was a pain. I won t go on to all of the sub par room amenities, but there is no coffee pot in the room and it was a $15 charge for 4 kuerig cups. Most (no exaggeration) of the staff here act like you are an imposition. The bartenders in the casino are terrible and you get to pay $4.00 for a Diet Coke, if you can get their attention. While I was waiting for that same Diet Coke (better service if you gamble but not by much), I cut my knee on a carpet tack as I was pushing away from my seat, which also let a wonderful black and red bruise. I tried to tell someone to fix it - but was dismissed. Tonight, our room was not serviced - with 4 of us in the room (women), towels and washcloths are essential. To be honest - a holiday inn express has better service. I m here to celebrate a milestone birthday and I m just done. My family nor I will ever stay here again.

Beautiful casino, probably the nicest in Downtown Las Vegas. The pool area (The Tank) is awesome with the waterside and shark tank. And playing Keno in Claim Jumper was an unforgettable experience to say the least.
