Amazing place well worth the money and fully recommend to anyone who wants to stay in London
Amazing place well worth the money and fully recommend to anyone who wants to stay in London
Magnificent hotel - great lobby for business meetings. Rather impersonal - but that is to be expected in London. Room was perfection. Excellent location - public transport on every corner.
Excellent food and excellent service. We used Groupon and definitely worth it. Will come again.
Great hotel. From here you can reach everything in a few minutes. From my window I had a wonderful view directly over the Thames to the London Eye.
The rooms are large and tidy. You have everything you need. An ironing board including iron, a hidden hair dryer in the desk, coffee maker and washing machine, etc.
The breakfast was plentiful and good. The staff are helpful and extremely friendly.
Amazing building... very nice and huge, just in front of London Eye.
Beautiful hotel in perfect part of London. Was able to walk everywhere from this location. Very accommodating staff!
Would definitely stay here again.
Not that many staff .. so when they're busy good luck
Beautiful rooms with lots of room! Great view of the London eye!
We stayed in a river view suite to get ready for a wedding. It was a fantastic place with great reception staff. Everyone was very lovely and helpful. While some parts of the hotel is a little dated, we feel it kind of adds to the charm.
After a long trip arriving at The Royal Horseguard Hotel and being treated like a guest should be treated. Absolutely amazing, the service is phenomenal. By far the best place I have stayed in all these years traveling around the globe.
Absolutely amazing service and brilliant food. We arrived early for our booking as the weather was so rubbish. We were sat down and brought our tea, they staff apologized for the wait, to which I said we were early I didn't expect to be service till our slot, not rushed at all and even packed us up a doggy bag for our left over cakes! Truly worth the visit. But make sure you book in advance. These guys are booked up for a reason.
The service was amazing and the tea and cakes were to die for. Such a beautiful atmosphere
Perfect stay. From the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff were above and beyond excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and any problem would be instantly solved regardless of the time. The hotel is immaculately clean and modern. I've stayed at many hotels and apartments in London and this is by far the best by a country mile. Great value for money and would never stay anywhere else. I look forward to retuning in the future.
Good tea and good pastries. Great staff, nice rooms.
fab hotel... attended a champagne afternoon tea- it was really lovely- staff Very pleasant and helpfull.
Woah, an amazing experience !!!! Thank you so much !!!!! From the beginning to the last second, they welcomed us in a positive way! Congratulations to Miha, from the restaurant, she was so great with us. The food, the wine, the place, what else can I say? Again, thank you!
In French: thank you for everything! The reception was amazing, frankly, my friend and I had a good time. Congratulations to the waitress of the restaurant, whose name is Miha, who knew how to accompany the dishes and the wines with all the necessary professionalism. The place is just awesome!
Hotel interior is fantastic, clean with helpful staff. On the occasion I stayed, it was my sons birthday... I made the staff aware of this (as he was very excited) prior to arriving, who promised that the room would have a few little extras to celebrate. Upon arrival the main tv (as well as the bathroom tv ) did not work. Neither did the phone to call reception... so I ended up calling from my mobile for assistance which was laborious as there seems to be a definite struggle in this hotel with communication. We were late arriving & no other rooms available to swap. I hope we weren t left with what other guests didn t want?
The tv was fixed, whilst we attended the restaurant for dinner. The restaurant service was excellent & food very good. Upon departure I was billed extras which I hadn t had! Including a bottle of champagne! Although this was again, resolved... eventually. I also realised that I had left my bangle in the room, (a few hours after departing) this was never found which again, I find dishonest and poor as I took it off and left it on the side at bedtime. I would have expected the staff to be honest and return this. I guess being such a large hotel, there is little management of this hindered by the lack of communication. I never got the bangle back!
I have stayed in far better 3 star family run hotels - I guess this hotel lacks in that touch and is very mass chain with little or no personal touch. A shame, as I expected more for the cost of the stay. Unfortunately, for me, the lack of communication and general failings which I repeatedly had to challenge wouldn t be worth the exhaustion to return & continue chasing my tail picking up the pieces of others errors.
Visually though, it is very impressive.
Stayed here for a company event. Nice hospitality although complimentary water bottle would have been appreciated. The conference Hall in the decoration for library is a must-see.
luxurious. breakfast could be richer in fresh foods.
Hello everybody,
I had the pleasure of experiencing this hotel and would recommend it to everyone.
Room: Great !!! 5 Stars
Equipment: From iron to TV in the bath, everything is available
Personnel: This topic is the most important thing for me, every employee I had contact with was extremely helpful and wanted to fulfill my and my partner's every wish.
Breakfast: Very large selection with high quality products from scrambled eggs to walnuts, everything available.
I can recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to experience something special.
Excellent service, amenities and location. Staff is professional and courteous. Lovely visit
Amazing hotel, very very beautiful. We stayed here 2 nights and were very happy with the location, the staff and the accommodations. Parking, as existed, is pretty non existant.
Perfect hotel in all ways. Perfect location, perfect room, perfect service. We were treated as royalty in the Royal Horseguards Hotel.
Stayed end of August for 12 nights, this's my forth stay and will defiantly not come back. the hotel needs a major update, improve the cleanness level of the rooms and restaurants, needs to train their staff starting from hotel manager to reception staff, room service and housekeeping. We found a mouse at the outdoor restaurant running between the tables (seems to be familiar with the place)! took a video and showed to the hotel manager who didn't bother to say anything or apologies. The receptionist charges our card twice and couldn't rectify the mistake until now and after we checked out. that's only two issues out 10 that took place during our horrible stay. will defiantly not come back or recommend to others.
Nice and quiet. We were served fresh vegetarian teas
Very nice experience staff could have been a bit more attentive had to keep asking for things .Overall very nice
Anniversary weekend in London amazing hotel, amazing and friendly staff.
Good food and excellent location which has maintained its original styling.
A beautiful hotel in traditional Victorian style. Very good service and very chic. Unfortunately also correspondingly expensive, I think.
The rooms are a little on the small side, like everything in England. I agree.
Nevertheless, it was a wonderful weekend in a really nice hotel.
Excellent stay: large, well-equipped and comfortable rooms, very good room service.
Breakfast is good with a large choice; its price is, as usually, not cheap, unless you prepay it during check-in.
Personnel is smilingly serviceable.
This hotel is ideally located, close to Westminster, Trafalgar Square and with public transportation (the subway, notably) just a few steps away.
Very good service, close to the enbankment metro, close to everything to meet foot
Fantastic stay in truly one of the best hotels I ve ever stayed in The staff are very professional and made me feel very welcome.
Very good hotel, comfortable bed and very close to central London.
It was really nice, not the best, but no complaints
By far the nicest hotel I've stayed at in London. Very traditional. Reasonably priced through Delta airlines. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Amazing location.
An excellent networking dinner. Plenty of time to mingle both before and after easting. Food, service and decor were all top notch
The hotel is 3-star and not 5-star. A deposit was also withdrawn and they informed me that the refund will be made within 10 days to a maximum of 2 weeks.
My wife and I stayed overnight for vacation here and it was very nice. Clean and friendly staff and beautiful building with a great location.
One of the nicest places we've been ever stayed. Attentive staff, great rooms, would absolutely come back and soon.
Excellent hotel with good amenities, nice room with good views and great customer service.
Service was discretionary towards non-westerners. Room service was done to the bare minimum with water faucet left on the toilet ground even after housekeeping. Sink was also not fully operational with no sink stopper.
The Royal Horseguards Hotel's location is unbeatable because it is close to London's tourist attractions, distances that you can easily walk to enjoy the London atmosphere.
In addition, its wonderful architecture is from the time of Queen Victoria. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, they will make you feel at home.
Nice hotel, afternoon tea could use better sandwiches
Welcoming staff and guys did and drink. Great place for a business event
I met a friend outside the hotel, didn't really check out the inside but they were shooting a movie set in the 60s right outside so that was pretty cool!
Incredible customer service, exceptional food and service. Brilliant views across London, Loving my stay.
Had an afternoon tea and champagne here, was delicious! Very filling, beautiful sandwiches and assorted cakes . Tea was served in a comfy lounge. A very elegant hotel and decor with a relaxed atmosphere.
Amazing hotel. Fantastic location. Friendly and helpful staff.
The HISTORY of ..... THE ROYAL Horseguards Hotel. FRIENDSHIP and good TASTE always endures over TIME thanks marcel
Stayed here when in London for a weekend show had a great time small room but good as a base I did not eat here but menu looked good room had a great view over Thames and London eye friendly staff not sure about parking went by train fairly local to tube stations and sightseeing
Got engaged in our room and the staff were lovely. Made our moment and night very special. Iconic hotel
Lovely setting, perfect attention. Afternoon teas was excellent.
Absolutely enjoyed our stay a few years ago, and now booked for a return surprise overnight stay with my Son.
We stayed in a Deluxe City View Room and in my opinion, did not receive a 5 star standard stay at all. The rooms facilities were dated and old fashioned and the underfloor heating and towel rail in the bathroom did not work. When I turned More
Worth paying for the view, beautiful hotel, first class service.
It is a beautiful and central sightseeing of London. Sorrounded by St James park and important and historical buildings.
I was expecting much more for the price. They do have a fantastic location, but the overall room was small and a a bit dated. Additionally, though the staff was very friendly and courteous, they seemed to be quite over capacity leading to long wait times to check in and out. The breakfast was decent but again a bit overpriced from what you get. I think that if you really want to stay near embankment then book this place, but for you money you are probably better elsewhere.
Went for Afternoon tea and loved it. Very attentive staff even though they were busy. Extra sandwiches should you want them. Great range of teas to choose from..fab building, well maintained, very clean and the option of a smart Terrace bar should you wish to stay a little longer.
Even though it's days it's 5 stars I wouldn't agree fully. Lovely hotel, friendly staff.
Room amenities do not all function, like original iPad holders, aux cables for some reason. The TV in the bathroom is impressive, more so if it worked.
I ordered a coffee for breakfast and it took 10mins, by the time it came I was finished.. Adding to this the milk was burnt.
Most toilets look like they hadn't been check in a good few hours as there was rolls on the ground.
Beautiful venue, lots of bars and rooms, great for functions if you want to impress.
A 5-star for their customer service, place and hotel services. They got nice and friendly staffs that will welcome you with a beautiful smile so one pretty smile can make a day wonderful. I was happy with my experience here so far.
Average hotel, but extremely comfortable stay. Hotel in bad news of renovation though.
I'm obsessed with this hotel! The service was amazing! The people are so nice and kind. Highly recommended.
