Great cinema. Classy, comfortable surroundings, decent visuals and a rare appreciation that the sound needn't be so loud as to make your eyes vibrate. A rare privilege to be allowed to take drinks from the bar into the screen, too.

A great cinema with a fantastic range of films. Best place to catch films with a limited release. Friendly staff and a decent bar is located within the venue for a pre or post-film chat. It's always a pleasant trip when we go here.

Very intimate cinema, in the heart of Glasgow. A good selection of independent movies and older movies. There is a bar and you can bring a wine/beer (plastic cup) in the cinema room with you.

Fantastic place for movie lovers and casual movie goers. Love the old fashioned style and appearance. Only suggestion would be better sound/volume control. Maybe it's movie-dependent but it was a little too loud once or twice. Otherwise, it's definitely recommended

At half the price any other cinema is charging for admission, my expectations of this place weren't particularly high. But I was so wrong! The space was good, comfortable chairs, a well stocked bar and brilliant quality.

I have only gone there once and I can say I will repeat it. The selection of movies is absolutely great and you have guaranteed that you will see a good movie, not just a blockbuster movie.
Food-wise is not good - I recommend bringing everything from home, including water.

This is a fantastic theatre! The chairs are very comfortable leather with drinks holders to the side. The screens, although quite small, are high quality and the sound is superb. The toilet facilities are also well maintained.

This cinema isn't one that draws in the blockbuster crowd, it's aimed more at specialist cinema and thankfully because of that the audience is much more well behaved, no mobile phones going off, people talking or loud popcorn eaters!

If you want a quality cinema experience, free from the screaming mobile phone kids I'd definitely recommend this venue.

This is my favourite cinema and mainly shows independent films. It has three screens & a cafe/bar and has-been around for 80 years.
If late Feb it has a Film Festival showcasing the best new films, even world premieres, and throughout the year it has mini festival strands like Italian novices.
They run two schemes one is a loyalty point system and the other a Cinecard which gives you money off films, points, priority booking for the Film Festival and 4 free films (the cost of the card) per year.
It is fully accessible. Oh and there's never the smell of stale popcorn or hot dogs to spoil the experience.

Cult, classic, and curious films, shown in an art deco-style movie theatre.

It doesn't properly feel like Christmas until you've watched It's A Wonderful Life in the GFT - a tradition for many Glaswegians.
