Atrocious customer service. Could not even help to call another UPS store to see if they accept UPS packages. Showed zero compassion when I m dealing with a family emergency. Do not use their service!!!!!!!

An emoloyee warned me to tape my own package next ...

An emoloyee warned me to tape my own package next time because, "We charge for that." They seriously wanted to charge me for 1 strip of tape to close up my pre-labeled dropoff package because, "We're not UPS, we're a UPS Store. This is an independent franchise and we don't make money off of those." You don't make money by annoying people into not coming back, either.

What could that possibly cost the franchise? A hundreth of a cent? I guess you can add the time and labor it takes for one person to put a piece of tape on a box, right? But seriously, why even implement such a blatantly ham-fisted policy? The fact that I'm walking in your door is reason enough to accept the package without charging for a piece of tape. It's called foot traffic.

I was a potential repeat customer who would have been interested in print or copy services at some point in the future. Not anymore! I'll take my business to another "independent franchise" that doesn't want to nickel and dime me over 14 inches of packing tape.

Always professional, quick, & easy service. Their prices are very reasonable and they do care that your fragile packages make it to their destination safely. I've never had any of my glass items break. I love this store!

My 2 star review is being "kind". I have had it with these people. Especially the girl with the long hair, that has an "arrogant" attitude like you aren't "quick" enough for her, or intelligent enough to catch on. I have used them several times in recent years, for package delivery to Florida and various places, as well as copying services. She tries to help you so fast, that it is like she can't stand the look of you, and is trying to get you out the door as fast as humanly possible. This is supposedly a franchise, and she must be related to the owners, as she has been there for quite some time.
A few times now, when the retailer has provided the label for the return shipping costs, I have requested a receipt from them. Well, yesterday, another customer assisted me with carrying in an almost 40 lb package returning to Pottery Barn, that was valued at almost $450, and I asked for a receipt to "prove" I had dropped it off for return with UPS. I knew what the tracking info was already, I just don't want the responsibility to come back on me - if my package was somehow lost with them, that Pottery Barn says, " we don't have a record" of you dropping it off at UPS, and can't refund you, "sorry'".
So, little miss Smart mouth, goes and answers the phone right after I requested the receipt, and says to the person ON THE PHONE mind you - and rudely says loud enough for me and another employee and a t least one other customer in the store to hear - "I have to get a receipt for a customer because she didn't bother to print out the tracking information for herself."- WOW - Talk about subpar customer service skills, and over the top rudeness.
No matter how polite I try to be, and pleasant, she goes WAY out of her way to be one of the rudest retail employees I have ever dealt with. Only reason I give 2 stars is because my packages get delivered rather quickly, which is more than I can say for the postal service, and our UPS delivery driver to our actual home we've had for 12 years now is absolutely fantastic!
I guess I may need to drive to a further location or switch to FEDEX or USPS for my shipping needs. UNREAL.

I've used the UPS Store at 8190 Beechmont for quite a while and I've always had a pleasant experience. Everytime I've gone in, I've dealt with a different employee, and, they've always been courteous and respectful.

The staff is wonderful. Super helpful on this visit. I had to return a shipment that was the wrong product. The vendor I bought the item from made the mistake and was less than helpful. The sales associate at this location was friendly and helped me out so I could ship it back. I for sure will use this store for any UPS need I have.

The staff gets rude Every time you have a Amazon drop off and ask for a receipt. The same answer is given "why do you need it" or "you can write down the tracking #". That is not acceptable! Stop getting upset when a receipt is asked for. Went In today 4/2 and the same guy got mouthy with me on wanting a tracking receipt! Unreal. Not acceptable!

Review based entirely on shipping as that is what they do after all. Dropped a package off on a Saturday well before the last pickup of the day. It was time sensitive and needed to go out that day. Instead, they didn't get around to getting it out until Tuesday. That is unacceptable in the shipping world. Pay a lot of extra money for next day air only for it to sit at your store for multiple days? Will never use again.

I went in to return my cell phone to Verizon. I had a very small box, the pre-printed label, my phone was already wrapped in bubble wrap, and literally all I needed was to tape up the box. They want to charge me two dollars for it, two dollars to tape a box a very very small box. When I offered to tape the box myself with their tape gun, they said and I quote, We don t do that for free. If you need tape, you can buy some that s on the wall.
Many years ago I used to do shipping for the company I worked for. This store just potentially lost hundreds of dollars of future service for not giving me five cents worth of tape. Wow.
For the record, the folks at the Eastgate UPS are always very sweet when I go in. They will have my business going forward

I don't generally review places that aren't restaurants but this time I just had to. This is more of a review of Jim, the employee who helped me today.
It was like being helped by Sam Elliot helped. I came in to ship something only to find I had lost my shipping label. I went inside and was greeted by Jim, showed me a computer to use so I can print off my label. It was then I noticed mistake number 2, which was it was for USPS and not UPS.
Oh bother.
Regardless, Jim came to the rescue and helped me out anyway. Even gave me a nice adhesive and protective sleeve for the label on the house. He is in short nothing but class, a throwback to the good old days of customer service.
Even though I wasn't technically a customer that day.
That day. I will not hesitate to return for my shipping and printing needs in the future.
