The views are amazing, the grounds are georgeous and there it's a cafe in the house grounds serving lovely food and drinks

Great as always. Big enough to have a variety of different landscapes, from large lawns to big areas of woodland. Great for dog walking.

It's very peaceful. Lots of people walking dogs, but the park is so big it does not feel busy.

Great place to take kids out. Not much to do here but they have looked after the place well. In need of more animals in the small zoo also more playground room?

Huge open space with great walks and views. Could do with more bins but generally any rubbish is cleaned up quickly but the rapid response of local staff. Good for a Christmas walk, and evening stroll or engaging in nefarious activities with less than salubrious MPs...apparently...

Loved it here as a child and going back definitely brought back lots of childhood memories. Theres a lido and lots of people swimming in the lake. Lots of walking and different things to see in the way around. Childrens play area and lots of toilets. Somewhere to eat and drink too. Highly recommended for families and lots of keep fit going on. Runners and dogs too.

Hampstead Heath is just behind my house and we really love taking walks here often. It can get busy in summer with all the tourists, but you can usually find some peace.

On a hot day like today Kenwood House gardens had lots of tree shade, benches, and a cafe, if needed. All at the top of Hampstead Heath.

Easy go about you can totally lost yourself in here very very green ..you will definitely forget you are actually at Central London .

Whenever I need to get away from the city, but not out of the city, the Heath is my favourite place to be. Swimming in the lido in the summer, walking through the falling leaves in autumn, the Heath has something for everyone.

Hamstead heath has some of the best views of London!

Cool place to go for a Sunday walk. If you are cycling take note that you can t cycle everywhere here, some paths are for pedestrians only.

BIG park in the middle of the London outskirts. At the time I visited it was under pretty heavy construction in the ponds area, so some areas lacked in beauty because of it. But the park is huge and it feels really safe.

We have a forest in London. It's a place of discoveries because there's a lot you can do in the park. I am loving my experience.

Beautiful park with grassy hills, old trees and several bathing ponds. In several areas you can really only see large lawns and trees, making it feel quite removed from the busy roads of London just a few minutes away.
Kenwood House is on the Heath and is well worth a visit.
At the other end, Parliament Hill has excellent views south.

Quiet. Trees plus open now spaces with little paths leading to ponds and a wooden children's playground. Lovely walk hidden away from all the roads and houses.

Unbelievably beautiful area and breathtaking views. Perfect for a stroll. Huge picnic area but not full of people. Toilet and coffee available on the site. Amazing views over London skyline. Nature there was stunning. I recommend not to miss this lovely spot on the London's map.

A taste of English Heritage. Worth a visit. The Kenwood house is pretty neat, and the surrounding grounds are definitely worth a walk. Peaceful area.

Beautiful parkland. Ponds, trees, hills, birds, Kenwood House at the top, tennis courts, cafe, farmers' market on the weekend, at the bottom. Great for walking, picnicking, kiting, birdwatching, kids and dogs.

Really nice green area, and like the children playground as well. Maybe a little over-hyped?
