The park has spectacular views on guy fawkes day. Otherwise it's a wonderful place to run, walk, or get away from the city. Lots of manicured paths and nature paths for all different types of people

Hampstead Heath is a huge park with plenty of space. It is quite hilly, which means there are nice views on the north side of the park. If you don t like walking up a big hill, then I would recommend entering on that side of the park.

One of the best parks in London. You can spend hours walking around. Some bits get busy but others feel really remote. The view from Parliament hill is ace. As is a visit to Kenwood House.

Lovely part of London, great for a walk in the sun. The views of the city are great and this is shown by the number of artists painting the scenery here. If you want a break from the city, and don't want to travel too far Hampstead worth a visit.

Absolutely stunning. Definitely worth a swim in one of the swimming ponds if you're feeling brave. Beautiful views of London but also one do the few places you can go to forget you're in the city

The is really nice beautiful part of London. We also vosited kenwood House. Why are so many dog owners so rude and ignorant ? There are signs around the grounds of kenwood House stating that dogs should be kept on a lead.what so many of the owners do ? Ignore the signs.
I have a severely mentally handicapped brother who had a bas experience with a dog. He scared of dogs off their lead. As soon as he spots a dog off the lead close by him , my brother shows signs of distress. This what happened on Monday, dont tell me your dog is harmless, my brother doesnt understand.
Even ruder is when you get a dog owner telling you that your mentally ill brother should be kept at home, he shouldnt be allowed in public. It hurts !

The most tranquil and serene place in the whole of London. My daily "sanity fix", seeing the sun rise over the heath ponds and through the forest. Any season, I never tire of the heath...

Woodland, ponds, meadows, viewpoints, flower gardens, a Lido, a stage with grass for the audience to picnic,a restaurant in a beautiful house with an art gallery, lots of space for Londoners to walk the dogs, go swimming, picnic, run, walk, and clear their lungs.

I love venturing outdoors on foot, seeing new things, and getting fresh air outside of the bustle of the city, and for that the heath and all its trails is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. I plan to go back for the swimming because it looked so enticing, but I haven t managed it yet.

One of my favorite parks in London.
Went there to swim several times
The only unfair thing is that the ladies only pond is way much smaller than the man's one.

This district is in north London and provides on Parliament Hill a spectacular view of London. There is a lovely park on which sits the hill.
The atmosphere is quite different in Hampstead Heath from central London and is worth the visit. As you can see, we had blue skies.

Such a big park, you get lost in nature and forget you're in London! Has a different personality in each season- I recommend autumn for the atmosphere and summer for spending time with friends (although the grass does yellow). Can end up walking around in circles so put time aside to make up for this.

I think this would be our favourite park in London so far. Variety of terrain and an awesome lookout spot on Parliament hill. We loved the playground. Not too mention that the surrounding suburb of Hampstead is so lovely to stroll through too.

A beautiful place to walk where you can imagine you are no longer in London but out on the countryside. The views are amazing. There are areas of dense forest, meadows, places to sit and relax. I felt very safe there. A great place for a family outing.

Immense and quiet park 2 steps away from central London.
Hampstead Heath is very different from the other parks of London. It is much more hilly and offers vasts woody areas.
The ponds are delightful for one that is not afraid of swimming in cold waters.
The different areas of the park allow for more or less shade, noise and crowd.
Definitely a stop by location during a trip to London

Great park for walking the dog or just to go on a general walk. If you are driving there is usually parking on the streets that surround it so you should have any issues there. Personally I park on the north side of the park on Hampstead Lane near Bishops Ave.

Hampstead Heath offers such a varied array of landscaped from wild rambling fields to dewy forests and manicured parkland. Swarmint with runners, family picnics, happy dogs and the occasional kite.
