Nice open spaces with a lido open all year round. Close to city centre without feeling like you re actually in London. Even saw the fireworks at New Year here where you had a good view of all the fireworks around London.

One of my favourite parks, there's always a new part to explore! You can have a lovely view over the London Skyline, relax in countless fields, or wander in endless forests. In summer the bathing pools are well worth a visit too, only a couple of pounds to enter.

Amazing

Parliament Hill provides one of the best views of London. When you're done looking out over the city, head into the woods and enjoy being away from concrete for a bit.

Even on a busy summer day it's never packed, there's just so much space to enjoy.

If you ve never been here and you re in London then you MUST go! This huge park is full of picturesque lakes and some of the best views of London, especially Parliament hill where the horizon stretches out all the way to the central London skyscrapers when it isn t too foggy, There s a great cafe where you can eat out with an excellent menu and many places on the road as well as an amazing place to bring kids with playgrounds littered all over the expanse of the park! All in all, you must go!

Hampstead heath is the place I go to to be at one with nature, and consequentially, to be at one with my own nature. A place where I can relax and breath in the healing qualities of the trees, birds and air that brings me back, or reacquaints me, with something deeper in myself, beyond the iron harshness of life in the modern world.

I had never been to this park before but was amazed with how lovely it was! First off its so massive its a great place to walk your dogs and do activities like football or birthday parties. Also public bathing pools with a seperate one for womans which is very nicely secluded by a natural wall of trees! Very refreshing for the summer heat! Secondly there is a great view of the london skyline at parliament hill peak and even an information board to help you identify which building is which, great little treat! Really feels like youve been transported out of the city and into the country side even though youre just in zone 2!

A joy and a pleasure to stroll around on the weekend. Walk up Parliment Hill to take in the views of London, pop down to the 60m steel Lido for a swim, then walk into Hampstead for a couple of coffees and maybe a few beers.

What can I say. It s glorious. Nature wild, in it s a natural state. Fields, woodland, lakes, hills and best of all the wild swimming. Has to be experienced to understand how lovely it truly is. Last year it was incredibly popular and at times there were very long queues. Forewarned, forearmed.

Beautiful place for a picnic or stroll. Sit under and tree and ponder life or read poetry in the tall grasses.

A very special place. Sacred and unique to London. Every time I go back I feel it s been too long since I was last there.

It's big - I didn't find the views to be as good as i hoped. there was a lot of building work going on around most of the little lakes (mostly boarded up). I would come again a good day when all the work is completed. I felt that whoever runs it had not thought enough about the people using the heath and had too many things boarded up at the same time - this might have been better organised and staggered, a bit.

One of the best parks in London, great place to go. Stunning large park, a great place for walks, hiking, running, biking and so forth. Beautiful place to spend sometime away from the city, in the city.

The best park in London. So many nooks and crannies. Find a place, open a bottle of wine and read the papers in the sun. The ponds are fabulous on a sunny day. Just don't even attempt to light a barbecue here.

A wonderful and extensive green space, great for a day out with friends or family. A crisp muddy walk in winter, a happy sunny wonder in summer. Today I visited the women only public pond for the first time and want to come back equipped with my swimming gear - great atmosphere!

Beautiful park. It has gardens on one end of it, and open grounds on the other. It feels like you are in a forest, far away from London. Usually not as crowded as some of the other parks.

Absolutely huge, beautiful park. Has quite a decent workout area, pool and swimming lake.

Great for tanning, going for a walk or feeding the ducks.

I do wish the car parking wasn't so far away, though.

A wonderful park with a great view of the city as a well as perfect running tracks.

If you have dogs then it is also a wonderful place to stop and talk.

The park was clean and didn't have any rubbish laying around.

If you are lucky you can spot a film and news crew here as it's a frequently filmed location.
