One of London's crown jewels! Huge beautiful heathland park bang in the middle of London.

Amazing woods expanse for an metropolitan urban area, embedded in beautiful upmarket and picturesque London neighbourhoods

Great place to go to chill, re energize, to go for a run

Rugged green space in the midst of the city, can't go wrong. Plus Kenwood estate if you fancy something a little more manicured.

A "better park" in 3 dimensions,fun to cycle through and a pond to swim in...well check for the news as something happened there not so long ago.

Big space full of interesting places to visit and things too see. We love everything from seemingly untouched woodlands to beautiful Kenwood House.

My favourite park in London, without a doubt! It has the wildness and the beauty of a forest, and the social element of people who loves nature. So you can choose to be on your own enjoying the wild or walk a few minutes to encounter groups of people enjoying picnics. It has stunning lakes, for people and for only dogs! A perfect space to spend a whole day.

Hilly... go for walks and meet lots of dogs walking their humans.

A perfect option for a summer day in London. Bring your own picnic and have a fantastic time with friends and family. Amazing for walking your dog as well.

The ponds are amazing, well worth a swim! Doesn't feel like you're in London at all.

Love the Heath. A real diversity of places and atmospheres . Depending where on the Heath you are.
Including pets corners, parks and pools.

Very spacious and breathtaking views. The thing that I like about it, is that it's location is popular and usually crowded. But when you step into the park, it's peaceful and you can enjoy the views by yourself. There are a few ponds with different birds and there is swimming lakes for spring/summer. The air is really fresh, therefore trees and grass are everywhere. I recommend this park if you want to let go a bit, of busy London.

Been walking on the Heath since 1979, so that's 40 years and I still love it

Really nice and peaceful place you can just relax and gather your thoughts or destress

Absolutely fantastic place especially if you have a dog. I regularly take my dog up there for hours at a time. can get very busy on the weekend with loads of dog walkers and people generally walking and feeding ducks etc some very nice local pubs that allow you to take your dog though a little bit pricey possibly just down to the area in general.

A wonderfully quiet place, if you want to escape fast city life

Not so easy to find your way unless you use Google maps, but lovely to walk from Kenwood to Hampstead Heath Station. A range of sceneries and very pleasant for so close to London.

Such a great place to spend a sunny day. It's big and has a lot of places where you can relax. It's quite calm as well.

Lovely green space in North West of London. Great place to walk with some superb panoramic views of the city. Some lovely ponds to the east side and the lovely Kenwood House at the north end.

Can get a bit busy during the summer months. There are women's, men's and a mixed pond for your splashing needs

Public toilets on Hampstead Heath near Parlement hill side of the heath are really very dirty never any loo roll and always smelling everyday I pass this way

The perfect escape from the city without driving an hour to get there.

If you're looking for a countryside walk buy can't envisage yourself leaving the city; this is the place to go.

It's so easy to get lost in here! This place is massive. If you haven't been before, try Parliament Hill for great views to central London. Easy to forget you're in London when you're wandering around the woodland or through a field!

One of the best rambling spaces and well worth the walk up to Kenwood house
Can get a bit treacherous in the Winter but during the other seasons is glorious
The view across London is spectacular just mind where you walk as a small percentage of dog owners do not clean up after them

I didn't actually go on to the Heath this visit as I have walking difficulties but the Park is brilliant and we had a great time.
I have many happy memories of the Heath and the fun fairs the whole area is wonderful and I love the the ambiance.
and the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Hampstead in general... good job.

Such a nice open space and so close to london was lovely to see so many people enjoying the sunshine, only complaint was the lack of Ice cream

I love this place, you can relax a little as it is big enough to not be crowded. I adore the little ducks here :3 it is nice that you are informed about how to feed them (give them lettuce, they love it)

One of my favourite places in the world (not just London). So much to explore. One of the few places in any major city where you can't hear traffic.
