Well, breakfast alone is expensive for what you get. I think 25 euros p.p. is quite expensive.

Surprising hotel hiding behind a typical house facade and very close to historic center and therefore possible activities in Ghent.
The lobby is sumptuous, the breakfast very decent. On the other hand the interior soundproofing is average, without being bad however.

The best place to stay in Ghent. It s right in the middle of everything, making for an easy stay. The hotel is elegant and well-maintained, and the rooms are big, relaxing, and well-appointed. If you re spending any time in Ghent look no further, this is an excellent hotel.

Incredible accommodations in every way! Customer service was excellent: kind, helpful, went out of their way, polished. Location could not have been better; right in old town on the river. Beautiful hotel, beautiful view from our room. Great fitness center with a yoga class in the morning. We will stay there again if we ever visit Gent again. Oh, and breakfast...one of the best breakfasts I have eaten in my life. No exaggeration.

The location is very good. Here I like tea time and cocktails happy hour. The burgers are very good. Quality at a very good price.

Beautiful location in the very center of Ghent. Very beautiful interior, nice and clean. Breakfast is absolutely fantastic with a huge selection. And the restaurant serves great steaks. Would be five stars if it wasnt for my room having noisy aircond.

Very nice hotel, attentive staff, spacious rooms and very nice, very comfortable bedding. Only downside, the restaurant part (remained via a business seminar) was quite disappointing.

First time staying at this location, all of the staff were really helpful especially with my Eurostar issues.

Rooms were spotless but the cable TV service did play up a little.

Thank you for the good service, I urgently had to go to the toilet, everything is tidy and sufficiently available to clean everything. Come in because there is a lot to see behind the historic facade.

Ghent Marriott was nice, very helpful. We loved the area, just beautiful. Definitely a return place.

The best location, throughout the center and in front of the canal. The very friendly staff in particular Rodolfo. The room that we had wide, the views looked to the interior courtyard; Bed and pillows very comfortable. The very complete breakfast from detox, a wide range of seeds, cereals, nuts, homemade jams, salted and cakes. Room service 24h.

Very nice hotel, situated nearly in the centre of Ghent.

It is in the best location. Parking lot is also good for rent-a-car trip. The breakfast buffet is good and the room condition is good, but free of charge. Regardless of the number of bottled water, only one bottle is enough.

Located right in the historic center of Ghent. Not cheap, but worth it. Super breakfast!

I still dream of spending the night in this hotel in my hometown. The beautiful location, the beautiful Christmas tree during the Christmas period and the delicious brunch make this hotel a gem.

Reception super professional and very cordial! Wonderful spacious room with very good beds. Right in the center. Everything was very nice here! We will definitely be back.

Just have a drink: A cozy bar with beautiful decoration and lighting! The cocktails are very good value for money!

Perfect location right in the heart of beautiful Ghent. The breakfast in it self was 5 stars and the staff was very friendly. Only negatives were the rather sad looking gym and the fact they didn t have a Bonvoy lounge :(

Such a beautiful hotel right on the river and right by the center of town with so many shops, attractions, stores, etc. The staff was superb and is very accessible to non-native speakers. Very accomodating to all our needs!

Nice and comfortable bed, spacious room. Very convenient location right in the city center. The continental breakfast is quite generous.

The hotel location is great, right in the middle of the touristic area of Ghent without being too busy. The views of the river are charming and suite rooms are large and clean. The only problem we had with the room located on the corner of the 1st floor was the extremely loud floors! super squeaky and loud. You couldn't move without wake up anybody in your room. The breakfast area was great and food selection was nice. All the attendants at the breakfast buffet were fantastic! Overall a good experience despite of the horrendous noise of the floors.

Again top room, with top service and beautiful "save" from a small mistake. Even during Gentse Feesten very quiet atmosphere and quiet room.

The good: Modern and old architecture meets to create an unexpected masterpiece. Hotel staff is very helpful and forthcoming. Facilities great, tidy and fully equipped. Location is perfect, in the beautiful city center of Ghent.

The bad: Is fairly pricey, so make sure to book early and find good booking deals.

Ideal location, impeccable hotel especially given the current sanitary situation.
Very generous breakfast (salty and sweet).

Finally, I highly recommend the hotel restaurant, the Midtown Grill, and recommend the signature dish. The service there was perfect thanks to Ambroisia.

We will not soon forget our stay at the Marriott Ghent.

Sunday, Easter Sunday I had invited my family to an all-in brunch.
Never in my life have I felt so miserable in my life. The food the food that was offered was substandard a pathetic affair. With difficulty we received alcoholic drinks as well as water. We paid everything as agreed but I could just as well throw my money in the sewer. We have brightened up the day with a nice meal in the Elkerlick restaurant in Adegem. Everyone who wants to hear a Brunch in Ghent Mariott has lost money.

Rooms not much to get excited about, but the hotel has an attractive facade on one side facing the canal (alas I don't think any of the rooms benefit from this view) and an interesting internal courtyard / atrium space with a large curved glass roof, which I think was quite a successful architectural combination of old and new (I'm sure otgers will disagree though). Staff were nice and there was a little table with lego on it near the reception desk which I thought was a nice touch.

Excellent location for a conference, with small meeting rooms as well as a big conference room. Good service, good lunch.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Ghent. It was an old place where the merchants who came on the boats had meetings with the local women. I visited it because of a free tour and I had the opportunity to see it inside. Fully restored. Elegant and luxurious. The stay is around 400 euros / night, so it is not suitable for all budgets.

Excellent in every way. Perfect location, careful attention of the staff, cordial treatment, luxury, quality and order in everything. Private parking with a push button to make your arrival and departure as comfortable as possible.

The blonde Sales "Manager" is really not professional but it is arrogant!

It's a convient hotel, locating near by center of Ghent.

Walked in here on a tour to see the modern interior and colorfully lit glass windows. There was an event going on so we had to peek around the corner and stay quiet, but it's such a gorgeous interior!

Location, Location, Location -- it can't get any better. Very nice hotel, great restaurant, great bar and the best location. Close to everything you would like to see in Ghent City center.
