At first sight a great place. During the stay, however, a number of things were disappointing. At night there was a constant annoying humming noise and the shower fluctuated very much in temperature. When the above mention was made, it seemed that the reception did not take it very seriously. The fire alarm also went off in the middle of the night, but I assume that this is force majeure. Furthermore, it is fine in terms of facilities, also plenty of parking.

Hotel in very poor condition. Old furniture looks like from 70's 20th century. Old stinky towels (stinky because they are old, not because they are not well washed). In the reception, I was converted to PLN by the receptionist when I paid by credit card and I lost 10 euro due to the exchange rate (if I would be asked for payment method, I would choose to pay euro)

My boyfriend and I were passing through, driving back from Amsterdam to London, via Bruges and Gent. Good location to both cities, and you can access Gent (which has no driving in the centre) easily from the nearby tram.

The hotel has a very nice foyer and fancy looking restaurant. Slightly disappointed by the standard of the room though, for a 4-star and for the price. There's space but not a lot of luxury. Furnishings are a little tired and it's not at all stylish. The main annoyance is there are no plugs to charge your phone. The bedside lamps are linked into the main room light for some reason, so to use those plugs you have to have the main light on, which is bizarre. I eventually used the kettle plug.

The shower over bath is good and strong but again not very luxurious. However, we did have a good sleep, very quiet, comfy bed and total darkness with the curtains closed. We didn't eat in the restaurant or use the bar and and all the staff we encountered were excellent and very friendly.

Hour walk to the center, although the tram terminus in 2 minutes walk. The rooms are cool, with windows blowing. If the windows on the highway will be noisy. The doors of the rooms are very noisy. If at night someone from the neighbors walks back and forth, you will jump as if from an explosion.

A business meeting. Drinking coffee and being able to take it easy. We sometimes wait for the staff to order or settle. Apart from that quiet and beautiful setting, ideal for seminars or events.

Nice and neat hotel. Friendly employees. Room was clean and comfortable. Only downside was the paid parking, even if you stay at the hotel. When you come to dinner, for example, without a stay, you pay high parking costs.

Friendly and helpful staff as you would expect in a 4-star hotel, well-kept rooms. The breakfast buffet is very extensive with something for everyone, even gluten-free products for those who need it. Accessibility both by car and by public transport is sublime. You can get to your hotel quickly with tram 1 and vice versa from the hotel in the city center of Ghent. Really nice.

Room very clean, classic and functional. Excellent bedding. Friendly welcome, useful tips to reach the center of Ghent by tram whose terminus is 200 m. It's very convenient, we are there in 15 minutes. Your car is parked in the hotel safely for 10 at the weekend. By cons, apart from IKEA nearby, there is nothing in the area. Very close to all highways. Easy to find with Google GPS. Price rather high for a 4 star too understated, like all Holiday Inn. And not even a small bottle of water in the room at 137 . But we will return if we return to Ghent because the location is very convenient ..!

The room was large, comfortable, even with a bath included for a relaxing evening. You can tell immediately, that it is a very clean hotel. The food in the morning and in the evening is great, the portions even a bit too big for my taste. Priced a bit more expensive but definitely justified for the service you get.

Very friendly reception and restaurant staff, however 3 stars for my meal in the restaurant - meat scewer. Chicken was rubbery, meat too salty, chips tasted of oil. Also bottle of water was brought to the table already opened. I wouldn't More

Good hotel in the outskirts of Gent. We went with our 1 year old son and they treated us incredibly well, what we needed was served without problems and fast. Very good communication with tram to only 200 meters (if I remember correctly are 3 euros one way ticket to downtown). Highly recommended if you do not want to be in the historic center.
