I so enjoy this church Pastor Houston is a man of God he not only preaches he actually teaches the word .if it hadn't been for this MaN and the entire church family helping me.(after bondage )..Let's just say our God is awesome.because of this church family I've become a successful business woman in society and my family is mending my faith has grown and so has my mind.you wanna be set free.become a member you'll gain a family in Faith. My heart was happy....I felt like I belonged, comfortable. I also felt welcomed. The Word was powerful and enlightening. God lead me to worship at Gethsemane today. God bless you all.

I miss this church. I would always leave with a good word, not just for the day but for the week. Pastor Houston is funny,he will have you cracking up, but able to deliver a strong message that u can relate to. Keep up the good work.

The church is community oriented which is something that's missing in a lot of churches today. Plenty of ministries tonight involved in to broaden your worship experience and most important a bible teaching holy spirit filled pastor who believes in the word of God and leading by example

The pastor Dr. Kirk really knows how to teach the Bible. The pastor is also funny by telling jokes while he's preaching. LOL

It. Actually. Tells you. The. Word. Of. God

When living in VA Beach I attended GCFBC for 14 years & happily served in several ministries. If you're looking for a church home this is it. From the moment you park & walk up to the doors you're being greeted with love & kindness. The ushers are kind, praise & worship puts you in the mental & emotional state that you need to be in to meet the Lord & Dr. Houston brings the message like no other. There's plenty of room to sit & enjoy at Gethsemane at any of the Sunday 3 services & bible study on Wednesday.

There are many activities that show community building. Friendly clean and lots and lots of hugs! You always feel welcome.

I've been here twice now and have felt very welcomed each time. I can tell I'm surrounded by genuine people. It can get packed so beware of parking far especially if you arrive late depending on the type of service. As somebody not from Virginia, I felt right at home going to this church.i look forward to attending on a more regular basis.

I'm going to school here to get my GED. The people are great to be around. A good environment to be.

Straight forward message in a community of people who I believe make a conscious effort to share the message of the good news.

I gave this church 5 stars when I first attended and came every Sunday. Now it's just ok and I visit whenever I feel. That's why I didn't become a member. Boredom kicked in and feeling "forced" to meet and hug others who I'm sure wouldn't give a fudge about me on the streets! In addition, it seems one is made to feel "guilty" for not participating in tithes and offerings. I'm sure that's how it is with churches. I'm not a member, so why should I give? I admire Pastor Houston for his dedication, but it's time for me to find another church.

Wonderful Ministry, Pastor Houston and his Son are awesome men of God.They bring forth the word of God so that your young children can understand.

I love this Church and how it's really involves in the community. Most importantly my children love being involved in their youth programs.

Offer to help but don't have time to help real need

Ive attended this church on New Year's Eve for the last 3 years because my Ms Sylvia and my Mr. West. I really enjoy going & giving God praise for keeping me and my family throughout the year. When I am ready to begin my PHYSICAL walk with God I may just start here. God bless!

With SO many false teachers & hypocritical saints.. I must say Gethsemane Community Fellowship is the REALEST church I know. Such a down to earth, relatable, and respected Pastor. Not to mention his sense of humor!! ;) I suggest everyone check it out for themselves!
