Been eating GJs pizza for more years than I care to admit...still the bomb!

Special pizza recipe! Pretty good. Nice place. Half price pizza Monday nights and Friday nights after 8:30. Good deal!

Best Pizza Ever! Period! Use to go to the Viers Mill (Rockville) location and they haven't missed a beat since moving to G-Burg,, Best Pizza and Amazing sandwiches as well,, always friendly service. If you visit Maryland (or live here), Don't forget to try the BEST PIZZA on the planet.. (The Ruben and Steak and cheese are incredible as well).

Monday night is 1/2 price pizza and it is the best.

Soooo good!!!!! My gosh, this pizza blows any pizza out of the water. There is no comparison.

Have not had Gentleman Jim's pizza since they were in Twinbrook. Got some tonight and it was just as I remembered it. Not in a very good location now.

Last week was our first time we came to that good restaurant. But It is definitely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the generous service, with the magnificent cooking and fine drinks and with the modest cost. We will surely return there again.

We've always loved their pizza and have enjoyed the appetizer platter in the past but this last visit we decided on the Rueben sandwich! My husband and I were both very disappointed.It came with potato chips and for the price we both felt that fries would have been a better option. I wound up ordering some for an extra $2.00. I can also tell you that I have cooked many a corn beef and this one was not only the right texture but was like trying to chew some form of jerky! Personally, I couldn't even chew it and when I took the leftovers home to my dog she couldn't even eat it and walked away! I've always enjoyed the family atmosphere but this time it truly soured from venturing anywhere other than theiy pizza!

I forgot just how good this pizza is. I grew up eating Gentlemen Jim's but they ended up moving far away. Worth the trip! Delicious buttery crust, homemade sauce with chunks of strewed tomatoes, high quality provolone cheese, thick cut pepperoni, fresh pepperoni... I'm getting hungry all over again. Good thing there's leftovers in the fridge!

The pizza was great as always! The 2 person per large pre kinda blows. My daughter and I wanted green pepper and onion. My hubby prefers lots of greasy meats. He's a big guy. He would've eaten 2/3 of a large. He could only order a medium and still recieve the Monday night-dine in- 1 large per 2 ppl half price special. Rather restrictive and wordy discount but the pies aren't cheap so it's a bargain. This is where you go to spend like a steak house and eat pizza pie

Simply the best pizza in the area. Also enjoyed the barbecue chicken flatbread and potato skins. Friendly staff and great service.

This place obviously knows how to treat their clients. Consistently with a friendly demeanor. The food is reasonably priced, always yummy and neat.

Love the pizza here and service was great. I miss the Twinbrook location, so this was like going home again. It's great pizza and service is incredible.

Always a 5 star for me.. Their Swiss cheese pizzas are amazing. Can't wait for them to start doing their mail out service again. I'm wanting it in Arizona, and can't wait.. Yummy, all the time..

After hearing about this place for years, we finally tried it out. Pizza here is what is sometimes called "Maryland Style". It is square, with a flaky crust and sweet sauce. The big secret here is that they use Swiss cheese instead of the typical mozzarella (you can get mozzarella or provolone by request). Don't fret, the combination is great. The crust is good and everything works well.

The food is great, had the steak and cheese and they don't sham on the meat.

Great pizza, definitely one the best in the area if not the best. Very good service and comfortable atmosphere.

We have been getting pizza from here for many years. The pizza is unique. The cheese and sauce are an incredible combination. The crust is a little like Ledo but better.

Food is always good, love the hometown spirit. The staff gets distracted with ppl they know/regulars sometimes but I don't necessarily see that as a downfall. It's good to be appreciated, just make sure everyone feels that way!

Fun local atmosphere. Nice servers and tasty beverages. The pizza is exceptional. Only wish they served food till at least 9 o'clock p.m. instead of 8 o'clock. But you can't have everything. Always definitely on my radar to stop by for a drink or a pizza. Great spot!

We had to wait 10 minutes for our drinks and more than 45 minutes for our actual food, which was cold by the time we got it.

Pizza is good. I was supprised they only have breaded wings though... I haven't been upstairs for happy hour in years but I remember it was pretty good.

Had the divi's firehouse burger. It was great! Actually cooked to the temperature I ordered it. Which is hard to find these days. Staff was extremely friendly. I will eat here again.

Jim's has been around for a long time. They serve my favorite square pizza with sweet sauce and swiss cheese. If you don't request them to cook the pizza well, it may be too raw for some. Other than that, it's bar food and drinks. They have specials on certain nights.

I have gone once and got the bacon cheeseburger, it was banging !! Next time I will be trying their pizza, which looked amazing !!

Good food, their lemon pepper salmon was delicious. Very prompt service, never had an empty glass!

My family has been going to Gentlemen Jim's since it was called The Cavalier in DC. Decades of chasing this pizza from one place to another... So of course I wanted to go on Mother's day.
Everything was bad... From my bloody Mary to the appetizers and pizza...
I have never had such bad service ever!!! Both pizzas were burnt. And when I told the server I received a blank stare .. I asked to talk to the manager and never saw anyone... My daughter went to check and was told they were remaking it. They only replaced one not both!!!
Now this is getting rediculose!!!! I never received an apology or was asked if I even wanted a new pizzas...
This pizza was number one for decades... I can't even believe they thought that was okay!!!!
Well sad to say this might be your last trip there...
My mother's day was ruined along with my daughter's....

The burgers are amazing. The pizza is different but also excellent.

The place looks a bit older and could use a little updating but overall was a good experience and I would go back.

Old school pizza joint. Service was perfect, but pizza was strangely underflavored. Lots of other options (subs, American entrees, hamburgers, etc) available however, so they may be better.

Ordered delivery through ubereats to be safe. Appetizer sampler came with no dipping sauce, wings were dry, and no bread or chips came with my crab dip. What am I to eat it with?

The treatment i got from the waitresses ain't good. I visited there both, both time sitting at the bar. Since I was new to the country I asked the waitress about some stuff and regulations in this country, and after each question the waitress would go to the hall and luagh her ass out about me with the other waitresses. There was a time i asked one of them whether they laugh about me, she denied and asked whether i like the desert, but moments after continue.

Place looks good, but the crew need to learn more about interpersonal relations.
In my first visit I left a small amount of tip. Second visit I left no tip at all.

We were frequent customers. But recently my wife and I had horrible experience. We were taken care of by the managers daughter, we ordered a house pizza special "which by the way comes with uncooked bacon and sausage unless specified" undoubtedly it was undercooked so we called in asking for our money back because they were closed by the time we got home. We get there and are told by the mod they were making us a pizza that was bigger..... Still with undercooked meat... We than again asked for our money back Again, She was very rude so we left our name and number the next day for the owner to call us. We never got a call back.... Very poor customer service. We will take our love for pizza some where eles. To bad... They lost loyal customers....

Food was good and delicious. The band was great. Good neighborhood bar for a few drinks and pleasant company.

A favorite from back in the 80s don't get there often now as we moved to Frederick,but the other night we were glad to see the pizza sauce was what we remembered,so good! And the wings and burgers were outstanding!

For the life of me, it's hard to understand why JJ's doesn't have a waiting line every night. There is no better pizza anywhere. Their pies are best when the crust is served crisp, but not burned, and admittedly they are sometimes slightly cooked less than we prefer, but even then they are great.

Prices are fair to begin with, but Friday night (after 8:00PM) and Monday half price pizza can't be beat! The staff is always friendly. Cold Yeungling on tap. We've been JJ patrons since the old Twinbrooke location for probably close to 40 years now and always consider a JJ's pizza pie to be a treat. Only disappointment I ever had was when they removed the Keno.

A little out of the way and hard to find. However the food is always good, atmosphere enjoyable, and prices not too expensive.

The upper deck has a wonderful happy hour with daily specials.

This spot has fantastic service as well as enjoyable meals. One of my favourite restaurants ever. The drinks and food came out fast and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

I was so confused on what to order for over 70 guests for our daycare center's annual Christmas party. Mr. Joe Hance was strait to the point, created a special menu that covered the needs and budget, a gentleman who under promise and over deliver kinda person . Great food. The setup for the party was amazing from the display, silverware, plates. Very generous portions it was more than I expected. Highly recommend for any event.
