Practically in front of the Hamburg station ... so convenient. The hostel has clean rooms and bathrooms, offers many services and turns into a pub in the evening

I didn't like the hostel at all. We were a large group and got there at 9am. Understandably, we couldn't check in at the time. However, the on-site employee was completely overwhelmed and we had to fill out various pieces of paper due to the Corona regulation.
Then we could lock the suitcases. This cost additional 6 for 24 hours.
When we wanted to check in properly in the evening, we got the room cards. The rooms were extremely small and the bathroom was even smaller. The shower curtain in the bathroom was totally dirty and the shower cubicle was totally calcified and really not nice. The toilet lid was wobbly.
Then we found out that there were no towels and we had to rent some for 3.
In the room itself there was no possibility to hang or put anything down.
But now comes the hammer: the breakfast was an absolute disaster. The whole room was full of empty trays and dirty dishes were everywhere. We then got two croissants, a piece of butter, a mug of yoghurt and a coffee per person.
There was nothing hearty, the tables weren't wiped and you had to have breakfast in between all the dirt.
After the checkout we locked the suitcases away again for 6 .
After the checkout we wanted to go to the toilet (when we picked up the suitcases), but all toilets in the bar and in the hostel were all locked. Allegedly because of Corona, but it can't be that you can't go to the toilet.

Everything is perfect. You can't tell anything about their room except that it is very lively. And their service is also impeccable! Only their prices for drinks etc are a bit high but that shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise everything was great!

We were there with the class. In a room for 6. I also don't know what you thought of the bathroom / shower. Zero soundproofing, you don't actually need to close the door. When you go to the bathroom at night, everyone is there practically live.
The garbage or a part in the garbage, which was probably too big, was simply fished out of the garbage by the cleaning staff and placed on the floor. Bathroom and toilets rooms were never cleaned, the floor was really disgusting with the number of people, as it was an overcoming to go in with bare feet. Brushing your teeth doesn't work there, the space is seriously too small to lead your head to the sink. You either have to get a mug or take a water bottle. There was no soap in the toilet, which I really find under every drawer, because that is really no great effort and no toilet paper was refilled. Then stood there and had to ask other people.
My (but only mine) steel box had to be pulled out from under the bed with one finger, because there was only one grip , and it only had room for one finger. When closing you either need 10 minutes, break your fingers or let it pop so that you can still hear it until the train station.
Apart from this box under the bed there is not a single storage option, no shelf, table, chair etc, nothing. We had to distribute everything on the floor. At least a table or wall shelf would be good.
Otherwise relatively modern interior, bed linen is okay. The room door is super thick, so soundproof. There is a socket right by the bed, also upstairs. And a small light with 2 brightness levels. Breakfast was ok too.
We booked 3 nights there, it was okay, but nothing more would be possible.
So you can live with a small shower / toilet, but it should also be cleaned. She wasn't.
The garbage is all COMPLETELY taken / emptied and not that a large part is fished out and put down again.

The location is amazing and the staff is really kind. It's a bit pricier than most hostels. Rooms are small but, expected from a hostel. Sometimes the keycards stopped working.

Directly at the main station with all its advantages and disadvantages. I can not confirm the noise mentioned by other reviews. We had a twin room with a view of the forecourt and the window opened over night, yet I had no trouble sleeping even though I am a light sleeper. The room, bathroom and hallways were perfectly clean. The breakfast buffet was fine, for 5 euros very cheap, the atmosphere in the dining area nice. The only small criticism: in the room there are no sockets near the beds.

The location is easy to find, opposite the train station, the street next door is a bit messy but the hotel security measures are not bad. I lived in a double room, the room was very small, and the toilet was as small as an airplane toilet. Larger disadvantages The water pressure of the shower is very small (I didn't take a shower anyway). The price is very high. Those who have higher requirements in the bathroom are cautious.

Reasonable price , good for budget or business travel where you don't want to spend much money and time at the hotel

Good location, good beds, clean, heating. The bathroom in a very small dormitory room without ventilation.

Cozy and modern furnished hostel directly at the central station. In the rooms there are lockable boxes under the beds. However, you need a padlock for it.

So far it has need a good experience. I really like that there are free quality tours around the city and you can also rent a bike. There is also live music at the bar in the main floor which is great. Friendly staff. What I didn't like is that the rooms are not as big and you can barely walk when there is luggage in the room, but the hostel is cheap so I guess it makes sense. Also the bathrooms in the rooms are very small and I can barely brush my teeth because the sink is very small. (Keep in mind I am a very short person.) of you are a big person like taller than 5'7 it probably won't be too comfortable.

Very good value for money. The hostel is directly at the central station / ZOB. The staff was very friendly, relaxed and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms Clean and nicely done.

Beds are comfy, the location is good as well. Right in the heart of the Turkish neighborhood, you will have access to cheap food just around the corner. Both train and bus station are within 3 minutes walking

A little on the small side. As somewhere you need to drop your bags and the head at the end of a long night does the job.

Nice staff, perfect accommodation for young people. Nice and well maintained house.

There wasn't any air-conditioning or ventilation in the room, it was way too hot too sleep.
Other than that it was nice, I only really put 1 star to get on the radar. Air conditioning is necessary.

If you want to spend a cheap night in Hamburg you are right here. The free wifi is fast and reliable. Despite the central location you have peace here at night. The bar and chill lounge are nice touches.
Negative is definitely the size of the bathroom and partly the room itself.

Great hostel opposite the station, modern and with bar / pub. Folks. Very spacious rooms and impeccable constant cleaning. Negative notes: the wifi did not work, small bathroom in the room, like a plastic box without a window, luckily the one in the corridor is much better. Being in front of the station expect a lot of noise from the outside, if you are looking for a quiet place it is not for you.

Unhygienic conditions in the bathroom and in the toilet. No closets to store the clothes. The food is very bad.

This hostel is very functional. In the room category, in which I stayed (6 beds), it was puristically furnished and with the size of shower and toilet, one could have put a little on standard mass. I could barely turn in the shower, let alone change clothes properly -> and it takes some space in a mixed room. Otherwise, the hostel offers a nice ambience and quite fulfills its purpose as a place to stay. For a relaxed Hamburg vacation but I would rather advise a hotelaufentahlt.

It's clean and inexpensive. Despite the nearby main train station, it is quiet in the rooms with the windows closed!

Good located hostel to visit the city. A lock is needed to be able to close the small locker located under the bed. Bathroom and toilet inside the room, but very small. Good breakfast

Super mode, when arriving by train. Large hostel, seven floors. Private rooms and multiple beds. Nice and clean. Very simple furnishings in the rooms. Narrow little shower for six people to share. Reception with friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar.

The location of the hostel is great, the rooms were really nice and the bar was a great place to meet new people. Only downside is no kitchen to make meals etc. Otherwise would recommend and would stay again

I had to wait an extra 30 minutes for my room but the check in staff were nice and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and each dorm of 6 has their own shower and bathroom. They have a lockbox for your valuables so bring a lock that was about 4 feet long x 1 foot high x 2 feet deep so it's a decent size. The room was quiet and check out was quick and painless. Easy access to the bus and train stations as well.

I have been in the hostel for 4 days. Double room was ok, towels and soap were in the room. The other nights we stayed in a three room. In the evening at the bar I bought a sandwich, the sandwich was from the morning and the cheese was rock hard. The co-worker only meant to me, "you're just a host, if that's the last baguette you know it's old". The baguette was really rock hard as well as the cheese with which it was occupied. Towels and soap are from the triple room not included and must be paid.
Too bad, actually a good hostel, but with such an outrageous and rude staff never again!

The day when the sonabi comes incredibly. A hostel that does not leave any luggage at all. Machines to store luggage are always full. The staff is also unfriendly. Even the bathroom in the room where I stayed is broken, and the bathroom door is broken and cannot be locked. In addition, it is difficult to say that it is good if it is in front of the station anymore because luggage storage is not possible. This is the worst hostel. Worst out of 3 months. It is just a thorough supplement....

Super modern hostel. We were five people and have booked a 6-bed room. The room was clean except for the mattresses and modern. The location is unbeatable. Central Station and larger car parks are just a stone's throw away. Ideal for a weekend trip.

Offered coke by the receptionist on arrival, and refused a tomato juice at the bar because another British holiday maker had broken a glass, or some obscure reason.

Not like Germans to judge a whole race of people though. So think it must have been an oversight.

Central location next to the main station, but Wow, what an extremely unfriendly staff at the front desk. Even if something is in demand 5x you should never turn your eyes visibly or annoyed about people = customers ...

There is no air conditioning in the rooms and no blinds either. So not recommended in August. Otherwise it's okay. Nice service and everything was very clean.

Price line fits. For the location, the friendly staff etc. You can stay there well. This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel should be known to anyone who compares prices.

The rooms are to Small for 4 people, and the Bathroom is just Like a Train bathroom, but it is near the Train Station, and ist completly clean, is just perfect If you are looking for a place to drop you luggage, visit Hamburg, go Back to sleep, take a shower, and continue

You can not wait for this price in Hamburg. Very noisy and the toilet / bath was rather from a caravan

The hostel is close to the train station and within walking distance of the Alster and shopping miles. Our room was clean and met the description. You also hear no traffic through the windows and can sleep well at night. Gladly again.

Stayed there one night on our family interrail trip. Close to the railway station and we got a room with 4 bunk beds for our family. Clean room with small bathroom.

With uncleanliness is to be expected here, stains on the beds and the bed linen to unclean and disgusting bath conditions. Among other things, the security system was an impertinence, during our 4-day stay, strangers with several maps in various foreign rooms are several times (partly girls were alone in the rooms) from our room also 50 were stolen, from the hotel was not even an apology for the fearful security.

It was a very nice stay in this hostel.
We had 2 beds in a 6 bed room for women and even had our own bathroom and shower in the room.
The location is fantastic, right across from the main train station.
The whole hostel was very clean, the team was super friendly.
There are lockers under the beds which are very large and therefore offer plenty of space for luggage. The breakfast buffet was also very good.
I can only warmly recommend it.

Unfortunately, it is enough for two stars, but not more. When I was there with my class, we came into the room for the first time and in a room with eight was suddenly a stranger man accommodated. We were told as an excuse we forgot to tell him to change the room. So wait for the long bus ride until everything has been cleaned. At a hostel with 700 beds something like that should not happen. Well, they are only human. In the course of the 5 days you noticed that the bathroom was much too small, showering for a 16 year old was difficult. Breakfast, delicious but unfortunately the same every day. I also find it a pity that you can not eat in the room and no table to play or things had. The cleanliness expanding capable. Good were the beds, the card system to unlock the doors. I would only go for an emergency.

Great hostel. Even for the Internorga you can still find a room here at a good price. Breakfast is simple but totally satisfactory for the price and I would always book it. In the evening you can have a nightcap in your own bar in the house, which is not audible in the house itself. I always like to come back here.

Giant hostel without any "hostel flair". Location okay. Close to the main station.

For school trip top! A private bathroom aid every room was very small but enough to take a shower. Breakfast is delicious a bar there everything looks very well maintained i think it's awesome :))

It is clean, but when it is full, the system is quite chaotic, while our room booking and other people's booking happens at the same time. When the team are back from the meeting, there are other people in the room. Maybe there are some mistake from the group booking or the front desk. Fortunately, the night staf (steven) and the next day staf ( Tania) are helpfull in handling our complaints. All is settled, and the level of service is increased.

The rooms is always fully booked by guests.

Inn as a hotel. Individual rooms with showers and toilets. Excellent breakfast, paid the day before is less expensive.

Very very bad. This is the worst Hotel or Hostel I have ever seen.
Last week I was there, It was -10 degree in Hamburg and the heating system was not working !! And when we made a conplaint, the receptionist told us there is a big problem in the heating systems of the hotel and they couldn't do anything!!!!!
At night during sleeping, another client entered our room and we discovered the receptionist gave him our key room by mistake !!!
The room service was very baaad .. toilets are very dirty and the service did not clean the room even after two calls

Everything was perfect, there was hardly anything to complain about, but there was a few hairs in the bed otherwise great

Location is perfect for train travellers, just across Humberg hbf, they provide Free WiFi and beddings but you have to pay for the towels an extra 4Euro/person. Clean rooms of 6 persons capacity (3 bunk beds) with basic toilet and bath facilities.

The hostel very good. It is mainly in the center, near the railway station and metro. In the room cleanly.
