Pros: Comfortable beds, great view, quiet but efficient aircon, great breakfast spread, super helpful, kind staff, best macarons in Cairo, great location, the building and grounds are beautiful. The inside furnishings are lavish and the huge metal lamps are spectacular!
Cons: Ramadan opening hours incorrect on website and no altered hours leaflet available in the room so ended up waiting two hour and a half hours for the swimming pool to open for a morning swim. Also, the pool was in need of a clean.
It is one of the most famous hotels in Cairo. The location of the hotel is very wonderful. Hotel facilities whether the restaurants and shops are very fantastic. The hotel consists of two residential towers, including the lobby, restaurants, wedding and meeting rooms, and a number of rooms overlooking the hotel's garden and swimming pool. Some of the hotel's floors only from past months have been fully renovated. Breakfast in the hotel is unique and varied.
A former palace turned into a hotel. Much of the palace decor kept in pristine condition. A wonderful place to visit or spend the night. Great service attentive staff.
A bit dated but one of the best hotels in Cairo. The palace inside the hotel makes a significant difference. The restaurants and the shops are convenient. And Zamalek is one of the decent places in downtown area with variety of high quality restaurants and places. The service quality of the hotel is nice. If they renovate the property they can easily get 5 star.
Room service is very bad eating, I asked them for a steak five times and told them it was cooked more and more flat, and every time I got uneven. Please pay attention when ordering food from the restaurant service. Room services for the food is very bad, I have ordered steak five times and requested them to be well done but every time they deliver to me rare cooked opposite to my order, please be careful are when ordering from them.
Mariott Cairo really went out of their way to give us the best experience possible. As Mariott Platinum the staff had upgraded us to the ambassador suite, which in the spirit of the season they completely decorated in Christmas style, incl Christmas tree and treats. Also the level of service and the food in the club lounge was excellent. Lastly the garden are a sanctuary of peace in the busy Cairo. Really place to be and thanks to all the staff here.
If you are traveling then this place has everything you might need. Theres a llocal bank inside and a money exchange ATM machine. Rooms are great and room service is good. Local bar has some pretty good food options . Theres a mini mall inside in case you needed clothes or accessories. I loved it
This hotel is located on the banks of the Nile where it is a quiet place It is distinguished in terms of the location and it is a place with a long history In addition to being an architectural masterpiece, a wonderful hotel overlooking the Nile Excellent service, cleanliness and one of the best hotels Beautiful garden view, excellent restaurant and hotel Actually Five Star
I ve never experienced staying a night at their hotel but I sometimes go to enjoy the outdoor and the amazing view near by the pool, one of the best places if you like sitting freshly and enjoy your beverage or food.
The hotel is excellent, the reception staff are very cooperative, the view on the Nile is very nice, the only negative point is that I agreed with the guest relation on the decoration, decoration and cake for the Passport Day, which is why I did not get it even though I was hard on it, but that is five stars.
