Great hotel that used to be a royal palace .. Food and beverages are excellent .. Scenery is spectacular .. In a strategic location in Cairo

A five-star vintage hotel, excellent but in the busy summer

It's a luxurious hotel (part of buildings) because this was originally built to accomodat presidents and companions to one of presidential meetings, nice view and location, huge swimming pools fantastic Ballroom.

Not worthy of 5 stars. Rude reception staff, (Mohamed), broken reservations, try to increase rates that are pre-booked, old and scruffy rooms, broken showers, lots of things go wrong all the time. It has a beautiful heritage, and the breakfast is nice, but this place has lost its way. We were here with a group of a conference and it went wrong over and over again. Try the intercontinental. - edit - down to one from two stars; on checkout all problems happen again. They made zero notes, no communication between staff whatsoever. Again, rude, arrogant, immediately assuming customer is wrong.

The ratings here seem forged. They're abnormally high for many bad reviews without follow up.

The check-in/check-out service is woeful. Extremely slow and inefficient, almost missed my flight home because I had to wait 45mins to check-out

Loved it. A great hotel to stay as a tourist from abroad. Lots of food places to choose for eating. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Unforgettable stay The privileged location, at the foot of the pyramids. The food very good, full breakfast. The large and comfortable room. And the price!? In Egypt hotels are cheap! I will be back!!

This is an excellent place and I have no money to pay.

The Marriott is the best hotel if you are staying for longer period, like over a week. The large facility, with a big internal courtyard and shops, makes it much less claustrophobic than staying somewhere else. Lets hope they fix the gym which, as of June 2018, is still a temporary setup in 5 rooms.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful!! I would definitely stay again. The food is very good. You must try the food at Egyptian Nights. The bellman staff were incredibly helpful!
The only problem I had was with the female staff at the front desk. They were rude and very unhelpful. I couldn't understand why. Any time we would ask them for anything, we had to ask several time (only the female employees at the front desk).

God is on the beauty of the hotel and its Vkhkamatha full resort where everything will think of you and his service 24 hours, but the views of the rooms on the garden and Nile and the atmosphere of the morning if in more than 5 stars was worth more spent a day in Cairo Marriott heard once and rested in a place where the experience of everything down Cairo I repeat it ...

Beautiful hotel with twin towers that overlook the Nile. Kind of friendly but a bit of arrogant staff, who do not treat you the same if you do not look like a extremely wealth guest. Excellent breakfast and nice rooms. Plenty of dining venue and well situated on Zamalek.

Front reception is polite and very attentive to meet the needs of their guest. Room are clean and the breakfast buffet is great. I ve stayed in several of these 5 stars hotels in Cairo, this is the best. Highly recommended.

The location is great in the heart of Zamalek, the service is excellent, the staff are very efficient and tasteful, and the place from the inside is a wonderful museum

The hotel is distinguished in terms of location and services provided. It was built on a historical building, the Khedive Ismail Palace, opposite the Nile. The hotel is divided into 3 sections, the main building and contains reception, shops, restaurants and banks, Zamalek residential tower and Al Jazeera residential tower. Restaurants, cafes and taxi service activities are available in the hotel.
The place is excellent and lively

The hotel location is awesome & the premises as well & their rooms & suites are renewed but the swimming pool needs more care since the tanning oil is not cleaned from all sides of the swimming pool.
