Beautiful resort, but had to complain to get a/c repaired... night time safari tour was nice... wifi at resort was fast...

Beautiful building overlooking the Chagres river. Very tropical feel.

Very bad service. Check in was at 3pm and until 6pm we couldn't get into the room. At the reception too little staff and badly organized.
The hotel a bit decadent.
The only good thing was the breakfast and the pool.

Superb resort in the Gamboa Rainforest outside Panama City, by the Panama canal, close to the Pedro Model locks . Beautiful views, great animal sanctuaries. A must vist and stay resort for nature lovers Great boat rides to the monkey islands and guided trexs, etc

The hotel is very beautiful and I love the natural landscapes around it, however I must say that the corridors to the rooms and the rooms themselves are very neglected. Moisture and mold stains in the corridors gave the impression that there is not good maintenance in this place. Also the food selection is poor and the service is very bad, except for the Spa which is fabulous. It was disappointing not to find a good gift shop or convenience store inside the hotel even though it is a place that is far from everything.

The excellent attention, the tranquility and peace of the room, the view of nature, delicious food.

Location is beautiful. Service is on par with the rest of Panama which is not great; nothing happens quickly and there's no sense of urgency. Some of the things that led to my 3 star review: Room door wasn't working and took nearly 24 hours to replace the door lock batteries, baby's crib was not available, there were mosquitos in our room that bit us at night, room air conditioner is very loud (likely just old), room is dated and needs renovations, and towel service for the pool requires you wait at the front line desk which was often a very very long line

In the rain forest overlooking Gatun Lake, AC and a hammock. Life is good.

Good experience, high cost, some staff are not friendly at all, this is widespread in Panama.

I spent my wedding night at this hotel and it was fabulous. The luxury suite with all the extras. This hotel is magical because the facilities are super nice and in combination with nature they make the experience amazing. I recommend 100% The treatment of the manager Roderick was excellent service.

Took a 40 min, $18 Uber from Panama City here to do some of the rainforest tours. I have to say, they were phenomenal! We saw three different monkey species and dozens of birds on the boat ride. However, they told us the wrong information for the aerial tram, so we couldn't do that. Instead we took a hike by ourselves and saw a sloth, capybara, coati and two toucan species! All that being said, I wouldn't recommend to actually stay here. The food is awful! And I agree with others that it it's disorganized and not well kept up. Take a day trip and you'll love it!

The rooms are quite nice and comfortable but that and the surrounding greenery are not enough to make up for the common areas and food. This place had it's time I'm sure, but has definitely been let go of and needs a major update. It is in desperate need of some TLC. The pool bathrooms have mould all on the ceiling tiles, the outside area could really use a pressure washing and everything needs a new paint job. The roofs of the cabanas a are also mouldy and the lounge chairs are visibly filthy. Worst part? The food at the buffet was the worst food I've had in Panama since I moved here three years ago. The buffet lacks a lot of luster, unless you love nachos and cheese sauce, if you're lucky enough there will be some ground beef to put on them, but there was an event, so nearly the entire buffet was empty most of the time. The only option for the all inclusive "national drinks" is pretty much seco.

Unfriendly staff, which caused a lack of initiative and helpfulness. Can't recommend anyone!

a hotel in the middle of the forest and on an arm of the Panama Canal far from any civilization but near the cargo ships "Panama" and animals of the jungle.

Experience of regular to good. We arrived early and received the room an hour later.

I'm here and loving it perfect for a chill time and the best views! Plus you get a free night safari tour and a hike in the morning !!!

Moments of relaxation surrounded by nature, flora and fauna.

I called several times and no one answered the phone. When I talked to the front desk at the Resort about getting in contact with the TELEFERICO office to make reservations, they put me on hold and then told me it was taken care of. Not so. The tower is in some serious need of repairs. With the continued growth of the forest, the once unobstructed views from the top of the tower are now not. Otherwise great place to take visiting freinds.

The beers were hot, apparently the fridge didn't cool well, but very kindly they gave us others that were a little cooler, but not enough. The view is spectacular

A hotel to connect with nature btw something expensive for what it offers but definitely having a good time the hotel is not an all-inclusive and is an extra to consider for a getaway or family outing

A very nice and welcoming resort with all the comforts. From here you can take guided boat tours on the Panama Canal, visit the hinterland or simply relax and enjoy what the place offers. Panama City is not far away.
Personally I very much appreciate the excursions in the side channels of the Panama Canal where water is another one about a meter and a little more (many areas were flooded artificially), there are the paths among the tree trunks resurface sleeping d ' water and all around seems to belong to the Jurassic era.

This place is going downhill fast! The rooms are humid as hell, mold and mildew in the bathrooms, and the resort is in decay and in bad need of maintenance and upgrade. Owners should view all the negative reviews and take action.

Food is expensive and not many choices of where to eat. I will not return unless the place is restored to its heydays when I first visited it on my honeymoon.

Super hotel. Good location for rainforest walks. In the area you can spot various wild animals: monkeys, sloths, kapibara, tayra and various birds.

The resort is beautiful, you can go by cable car through the jungle and also have butterfly and orchid. The phone service is not very good, it is better to go to the place to buy things because they do not answer the phone or emails, but the walks are beautiful despite the bad management in the lobby

I visited the place very nice cable car, the guide very nice, pleasant, from the viewpoint the vegetation is very well appreciated. The beautiful hotel looked pretty pools!
