It is one of the most important art museums in Madrid (next to Reina Sofia and Prado). Located in the heart of Madrid, it is a must for any visitor. Both the permanent exhibition and the great majority of the temporary ones are very interesting. If after you feel like drinking or eating something, you can go to your terrace, which is very nice.

It is a must stop in Madrid is almost in front of the fountain of the neptune, the building is very beautiful and the design inside very accessible and comfortable. It is not to be able to see it in one day if you want to enjoy it. It has fantastic paintings by Gauguin and German painters. In addition temporary exhibitions such as watches that was very good.

Impressive collection and choice of art work from different periods. I really liked the room explaining the restoration of Caravaggio s painting of Saint Catherine - it was so informative from both a historical and technical point of view.

We entered through the Baltus expo. It is arranged chronologically and there are several works of all times, a video explaining one of his works, and the different previous sketches. 13 adults.

With the entry you can enter the permanent expo. The museum has 3 floors with a variety of paintings from all ages.

There is a store and cafeteria.

A delight for the eyes. This is the only way to define this immense collection (over three hours for a proper visit) that ranges from the Italian pre-Renaissance to the works of contemporary art. Excellent multimedia guide (also available in Italian) which with differentiated paths allows you to deepen, in the time you have available, the works of greatest interest. Definitely a brilliant idea that should also be imported into Italy. Do not miss the portrait of Giovanna Tornabuoni by Ghirlandaio, so beautiful as to make you cry, as well as Caravaggio's Saint Catherine of Alexandria, which seems to shine with its own light. But they are only two examples of a very rich museum.

A great exhibition with an immense amount of paintings. You need a good time to see everything since they usually complement the exhibition with temporary events. The museum has a bar with slightly high prices and if you have a drink on the terrace everything goes up one euro.

I really like this museum. It has a large selection of modern art pieces. Expressionists, impressionists it has it all. Probably not as big as Prado or RS but I found this to be a benefit, as it's more manageable to see everything in a couple of hours. On Mondays you can just wander in with no tickets or queueing. Look out for the Kandinsky sketches and the Dali's

After the Prado is the most interesting museum in Madrid, although it has other very nice Museums, today I was going to see some pictures of my countryman Ulpiano Checa and they were not exposed, they did not know if the Baroness had them from their private collection in another place, If at another time you have fences exposed in this wonderful Museum, I loved it

The Thyssen Bornemisza Museum has an impressive permanent collection, with many important and representative works. Temporary exhibitions are of very good quality. In my opinion it is one of the museums that have best adapted to the present, making quite innovative training proposals and incorporating the active role of the visitor. Recommended the museum bookstore. And the cafeteria, with a very nice terrace.

It is a beautiful museum and for me the best are the temporary exhibitions.
The last one I saw was "Sorolla y el traje" and I was impressed by the exquisite taste.
They must have someone very special to put these pictures in groups and in different rooms following an order by themes or by dates. The result is beautiful and very consistent

A great place and a rich collection of classic works of art from Europe and North America. Mainly painting XIV-XVIII century - German, Italian, Flemish and part of a modern collection, and among these pearls such as a self-portrait of Rembrandt or canvas Hopper. It's definitely worth it. Entrance free on Mondays from 12 - 16.

Museum with unique and wonderful paintings, also has some statues.
The only statue that the museum lacks is that of Carmen, with as much botox as it looks like a rubber statue, a barbarity of ugliness, I coincided with it the day I visited the Museum, and my wife was scared to see a statue He moved toward her, it turned out to be Carmen. Now talking seriously, it's a great museum to visit

Together with Prado and Reyna Sofia he composes the triptych of art present in Madrid. Absolute masterpieces arranged in over 35 rooms on two floors. The visit is exciting even for those who are not accustomed to attending museums: it is difficult to leave indifferent. The cost of access is 11 euros per person. There are also temporary exhibitions. The bookshop is well stocked and there are many places to sit.

A museum complementary to the Prado, of great quality that reviews the history of Western painting from the thirteenth to the twentieth century. His temporary initiative to incorporate works from other museums in Madrid is interesting and creative. For another 25 years more congratulations!

The Fundación Colección Thyssen-Bornemisza is a museum located in Madrid, Spain. It is one of the most important art museums in the world, with a collection that spans from the 13th century to contemporary art. The museum was founded by Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza and his wife Carmen Cervera in 1988.

The museum's collection includes over 1,000 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts.
