Each store has a unique life like theme, you can find just about everything electronic there.....
A great electronics supermarket where you can find everything an electronic DIY enthusiast needs to be happy.
This store has bare minimum in regards to pc programs for kids or adult education. A computer engineer building kit place to go but even then still lacking.
Their inventory is devastated. I went to Fry's for CPU thermal grease, they were totally out. Even the service center didn't have any! What's happening to Fry's??
Great place for tech nerds I enjoy shopping there I love there deals of the day.
Had to look for help ! They need to step up their game. It's the holiday season .
Only thing preventing this from being a 1 star review is the large selection and diversity of products at Frys. I've been here a couple of times and experience interacting with staff was always disappointing. Most recently I wanted to buy an SSD and the employees gave the minimum amount of help, leaving me on my own to do research on my phone where they could've been more helpful to advise. I come into a physical store to talk with knowledgeable people - in my case, about upgrading my desktop. Otherwise I'd just buy online which is what I ended up doing.
This place is empty. It looks like its about to close... Sad, not sure why it s actually open??
Fry's is Fry's. Back in the day before online shopping it was the go-to place for electronics, with lines of cash registers stretching into the distance, a 20 minute wait at the return counter, and a complex shrinkage control system that involved managers to approve certain purchases and "door Nazis" to inspect your receipts - Fourth Amendment? Never heard of it. Now the store is dark, empty of customers, and sad. I give it a 5-star rating out of pity, as an homage to their past greatness.
Signs saying they price match internet prices, but they don't. They made up every excuse in the book. Manager was soooo rude and angry. Gross.
Also why did my BFs review with more specific details get deleted? Odd....
Huge electronics store, you'll find anything you are looking for
Biggest Fry's in the area. Best selection of stuff at a Fry's I've been to. Not staffed well though which seems to be the norm for all Fry's electronics. Took me about 10 minutes of walking around aimlessly to find someone that worked there.
Decent sized Fry's, staff helpful, but can sometimes be hard to find.
Huge electronics store. You can find everything here from diy stuff to big appliances.
Every time I have visited here of late over the past few months, I feel that it is more of a store on its wane. The car parking lots are mostly empty, not many people at the store. I don't have issues with the content at the store. Decent prices and a wide assortment of options. You can get tired walking around the store.
Zombie like customer service. I'm guessing its losing a lot because of it.
This store has all the electronics that you ever need. Staff there is friendly, and they will help you find what you are looking for. Best thing about Fry's electronics is that they match the internet price, you can shop without worrying.
Although the store is large, I found it very poorly maintained, with few options, service is not very pleasant. It's good for "breaking a branch", but I was disappointed with the store.
Great place to get electronics in a pinch when you can't get it from Amazon.
For geeks, this is the ultimate store. Old-fashion/retro in any aspect.
Great selection, but no-one could talk me where to find a headphone cable, a pretty standard item. Needs Google Maps or something.
It seems this store is one of the last of the great behemoth computer and electronic gadget outlets. Seems to always have what I need at a decent price.
Meets most of your electronics needs, amazon or ebay will have more pc component available
Although I love Frys Electronics I took my disabled father the other day and they have NO SCOOTERS OR WHEELCHAIRS!! Shame on you Frys! This is a huge store and apparently off limits to people that need assistance.
They had exactly what I needed. A bit costly but I needed it immediately.
2020 update. Store shelves are pretty empty and place is dead.
The store is super empty, shelves have nothing on them and the only thing you can really find is as seen on TV products in the store. If you are looking for quality PC parts you won't find them here. They only stock subpar brands and unknown ones too. They do price match so that's nice I guess.
Love this place to buy electronic items in less price
The people at Fry's Electronics were very helpful very knowledgeable and we're able to build a computer from scratch great place to go get merchandise
Was looking for the latest sound bars and OLED TVs. They had very little on display - and none of the products I wanted to see were on display, and some weren t in stock.
I bought a hard-drive with a perfect price. Best deals ever!
This store was really nice and has a huge selection to choose from
Does not have great stock compared to other locations. Parking is ample.
Huge store, lots of variety! I was able to find what I wanted which was a variety Torque wrench set. Plenty of cashiers at checkout, very small wait.
Huge store, million things to see, you can spend the entire day there if you want
I'm editing my previously positive review of this Fry's location due to several poor customer service experiences. They make returning items very difficult even if everything is in order, and impossible otherwise. If you're not 100% certain about the item you are buying, I recommend shipping for it elsewhere.
OMG this place is now just so depressing. No stock just empty shelves. Everything out of date.
One of the best electronic store in Sunnyvale CA. It has large collection of brands on home security computers and peripherals. A very big store to find all your needs.
It's good place to buy all kind of electronics including laptops, computers, computer parts, electronic parts, audio systems. Prices are also reasonable. I took lot of price pictures, I'm adding few of these photos to this review.
Very rude staff.
I was gonna explain to one of the assistants of what I wanted and the person started rolling their hand indicating to hurry up, and second time again I had question about projectors and she tried to pretend she had more important to do than helping a customer. Prices does not match online prices. Buy from online sellers for at least 10% lesser price.
Not popular and crowded as it was before the online shopping era.., but I still visit once in a while. Sign up for their email promotions and you get some good deals sometimes. I hope they don't close, it's nice to browse all kinds of gadgets in one shot. I was so tempted to buy an electric scooter, and upgrade my router, and get some bigger portable speakers..
Alright when it comes to Fry's you Californians have no idea how good you got it. Yes the Seattle Fry's location is about as big as some of the California locations however with one big caveat. It's nowhere as cool as the ones in California. for example the Oregon Fry's is basically an Incredible Universe that just cleaned of basically resembles a Frys it's not really that fun to go to it's pretty much kinda like a whole belong Wilsonville but yes it's a Frys and yes it's one of the Frys that I like least going to yes the people are okay but my God the difference between the Oregon store management and the California store management is night and day. You felt so pressure to buy something at the Oregon Wilsonville store most of time you just didn't want to buy anything you just want to get the hell out of there and leave matter of fact when you bought the one thing and you try to shop around for some other stuff you would constantly be bothered and honestly you know if you're a man and you know you like to go ahead and shop for things well you know what that doesn't happen very often. Now here in California I have a hard time leaving if Fry's store without having at least a few things. And yes I will admit yeah I wish sometimes the service was a little bit faster but you know what I don't really care about that cuz once you get a person dear God man it totally makes up for it like they're actually cool they like dealing with you they'll even cut you a deal I'm sorry but one way or the other the California's Fry's locations are amazing and this location is no exception I think this the headquarters actually. Okay I had one bad thing happen I was talking to my son and we are video chatting and the Indian guy at the front of the door said you cannot take any pictures in the store and I'm like what the hell the damn store looks like a movie set are you kidding me and that's just what I was talking to my son and after that I don't think he ended up saying very much after that you know you got to stand up for your rights and your kid wants to see what this Frys looks like.
The place huge! Probably has everything you need electronic!
The Sunnyvale store is very depressing. Empty selves, long faced employees... Get the feeling that this Fry s store will be closing soon.
I could spend hours in here perusing the aisles. I'm a high -tech geek and this is the kind of store that calls my name. I've purchased everything from motherboards to potato chips here. I love this place.
Nope. This company is rotten. Terrible customer service for even easy basic things. Also, don't ever buy a cell phone there. They put rather important fine print not on your paperwork but at the bottom of a stupid long receipt that gives them the ability to charge the card from the original transaction for the full cost of the phone without warning if you cancel your contract (which is already expensive) before some arbitrary date. Corporate was incredibly horrible to deal with and offered no resolution or even slight understanding of how horrible their policy is. Never ever again.
They didn't have any desk mics in stock, nor did they have any basic headphones in stock.
back to amazon I go.
Have what you need. Great place to shop and buy. Best prices.
They have a good cafe, but food is expensive. They need to start keeping Gluten Free bread so people with gluten allergy can enjoy their sandwiches.
Sunnyvale Fry's sucks no knowledgeable people they don't know what they're doing and you can't get no help if I were you I would stay away from the store
Great service this frys is better than Palo Alto one
This store is just about dead. Empty shelves except for the cheap junk which is spread out to fill as much horizontal space as possible. Entire place smells gnarly due to unrepaired roof leaks. Sad to see the end of an era.
Fry's used to be a great place for tech products. Not so much now. I used to go there almost every week. Now just every few months. Last few times I do go I leave without buying because they do not have what I want. Sad...
Fry's has everything. It's a mess, but if you need an electronic item...
Huge collection. Dedicated for electronics. My first choice in Bay Area.
I did Christmas sales that I expected. It was cheap variously
Great place to geek out and see the variety of products from tech to AV to home electronics
Massive electronics store with everything electronic
To go place for everything electronics and computer related.
