This restaurant certainly places an emphasis on farm to table and sourcing local produce/meats etc. They make their own bacon and sausage and the food really represents their commitment to fresh, quality ingredients. Even with a reservation snafu they managed to seat our party of 4 without any qualms (and for a restaurant with a long reservation and wait list this was certainly impressive). The two times I have been here the waiters were knowledgeable regarding food/wine pairings and the end results were spectcular.

If there was a bright spot to my evacuation it was having dinner at "Frog Hollow" on Broad Street in Augusta, GA. A farm to table restaurant; It was simply extraordinary in every way. Not only did I get to spend some time with my best friends. I enjoyed an amazing dining experience. When life deals you lemons you have to make lemonade. I will always remember Rebecca. She is a rather rare jewel and exemplary of someone who loves her job.

OMG! The food was so delicious it literally brought tears to my eyes. I have been dying to go there for a few years now and Frog Hollow definitely did not disappoint. The food exceeded my expectations and so did the service. Helen was amazing and described the dishes in such a way it made you want to taste everything. The pork chop was literally heaven in my mouth, seasoned to perfection. The North Carolina Apple Carpaccio was like nothing I ever tasted before, the blue cheese offset the sweetness of the apple and it was just delight in every bite. The mac and cheese, oh my, layers of goodness. They definitely get 5 stars in my book!

Had the absolute BEST meal I have ever had when we visited for our Anniversary. Coming from a 16year long career in food, that says A LOT. We are hard to please in F&B....Kudos to the chef and staff.

From our first moment until our last, the staff treated us like special guests with attention when needed and space when we wished. From the atypical drink requested from the bar to our final dessert, the food was delicious and wonderfully prepared and presented. There are few restaurants anywhere that provide such an enjoyable experience.

There are just so many beers on tap! The peanuts were pretty good. I'm never going to pass up boiled peanuts on a menu! And the pretzels were actually surprisingly good. The beer cheese they were served with was absolutely out of this world. We got a large portion of the cheese for just 3 pretzel sticks, so we ended up having to pay for more pretzels

This place is amazing. Augusta isn't exactly know for its fancy restaurants, but I would highly recommend this place for a birthday or anniversary dinner.

The food was absolutely amazing. We splurged a little for my wife's birthday and had the scallop appetizer (day's special), cooked oysters (day's special), and their famous sausage that is on the menu. The sausage was actually my least favorite. The scallops and oysters (I can't stand raw oysters, so I was relieved these were cooked) were outstanding. For our entree, we had two pork chops. The waitress explained, before we ordered, that Frog Hollow's pork chops will be the absolute best pork chops we have ever had in our life - home cooked or otherwise. We accepted the challenge and were pleasantly surprised.

Shorter version - if the pork chops are available, you must order them. Take the leftovers for eggs the next morning! The pork chops were $30.

The waitstaff were exceptional. I reserved a table through opentable online and explained we were coming for my wife's birthday. She was told "Happy Birthday!" by the hostess, waitress, manager, and bartender. There was also a cute hand written note on the table that read "Happy Birthday!" with the Frog Hollow Tavern logo. These little notions do NOT go unnoticed. I would give the restaurant 5 stars just for being so attentive!

Lastly, the drinks.. They were awesome too! My wife ordered (a few!) Apple Cider Spritzers. It's bubbly wine with apple syrup. They were very good. I tried both the Manhattan and Rum Old-fashioned. Best I've had in a long, long time. Great drinks!

I highly recommend you experience this place at least once. Take your spouse or significant other and enjoy a cute, romantic dinner!

This restaurant has topped the list of all the other restaurants in the CSRA. Let me start by saying the service was impeccable. I have never experienced the level of service and attention to detail that the staff provided. Ally was our waitress and was phenomenal. Now on to the food. It exceeded all my expectations. Absolutely delicious. We tried things we had never eaten and was blown away. This is a definite must return to restaurant. If you ask me to sum up my experience, simply "EXCEPTIONAL."

This was probably the best restaurant I have been to. The service was great and the food even better. I was not expecting it to taste as good as it did and I give props to the chef for making such a delicious dish. I will be returning and recommend this restaurant to anyone that has a classy taste.

Excellent service, drinks, and food and somehow for a excellent value. This place could charge about $10 more per entree for the caliber. They certainly throw the "farm to table" aspect in your face, but there are probably plenty of people that appreciate that.

Pricey but worth it. Ask for their specials and definitely take the time to listen to the waiter/waitress, the local ingredients are impressive and noticeable in both the dishes and drinks. Definitely will be spending another birthday here.

This is a foodie destination spot. Yes, the decor and open arrangement of the restaurant are attractive - including the seasonal flower arrangements. But, it s the attention to detail and extra effort made for all courses that makes this restaurant an impressive experience. The cocktail menu is creative ( the peach/basil/bourbon smash is delicious. ) Wait until you hear the specials before deciding the dinner courses. Baked oyster appetizer is fresh and tasty. We tried various pork and vegetable dishes, had to share. Leave room for dessert. Wine selection by glass and bottle is great and not too overpriced.

Best Mac and Cheese I have ever had. This is seriously the best place for date night in Augusta. I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Pricey as far as Augusta standards go, but by far the best restaurant in town. Worth every penny!

A cornerstone to Augusta cuisine, Frog Hollow Tavern brings farm to table ingredients in the midst spectacular ways. Located in the heart of Augusta, FHT has an array of dishes but they lean on their superb pork cuts. If you ever find yourself in Augusta, make it a point to visit this amazing restaurant

The title speaks for itself. If you want to enjoy and impress someone in Augusta, GA, you bring them Frog Hollow. The staff is completely on their A game. Excellent flavor with an excellent twist on old recipes like mac and cheese or collard greens. The entree was superb.

Very small portions for the price based of the caliber of restaurant. It's a half-measure attempt at a 4 star experience, but a solid 3 to 3.5 in dining standards. Food is good, a true custom flavor that sets it apart from standard chains. More diversity in the menu would have been welcome. It's definitely a place to visit on occasion for a change of pace in dining, but i can think of other places that i would try before going back.

Locally sourced organic high quality food. I've never eaten anything I didn't like there. They have ridiculously good powdered eggplant fries. We initially had trouble-to no fault of their own-with a reservation, but they accommodated us after bringing it to the managers attention. It's a smaller, upper-scale restaurant.

Ok, I am going to be very harsh here. Because the price point of this place, I feel like, tightens the playing field. I am giving 5 stars, but I am going to give the negative first. #1. The pre meal bread was very bland. My wife makes homemade bread, and, in a side by side, there s no comparison. We didn t even eat it after trying it. #2. The decor is a bit weird, and, while that is personal opinion, I do wish they could do something to quieten the place acoustically. To many hard flat surfaces, the noise level was really high. Now, positives. Great waiter, wish I had gotten his name. Amazing coffee, loved the flavor. I got the porkchop over the cornbread casserole, that was one of, if not the, best porkchop(s) I have ever eaten. Kudo s to whomever marinated, and grilled it. Will definitely be back, too expensive for us to go often, but that is ok. The price, overall, is justifiable. Just try to pick an eve other than saturday night, when its less busy/noisy, and skip the bread. :) Personal opinion! You will NOT regret going here though!

We celebrated a delightful birthday for our daughter at Frog Hollow. Cory, our waiter, was knowledgeable and attentive without hovering and provided excellent service. Attention to detail and birthday wishes to our daughter from multiple staff made the evening very memorable. The food was excellent and plating was eye catching. We will be celebrating with y all again!

The best resturaunt I have EVER been too. This was my first visit and I had to sit at the bar due to limited seating but it was worth it. (Call ahead and make your reservation). The place is not HUGE. The hostesses and waitresses got me in quickly after clearing me some space. The bar tenders know, as much about the food as the waitresses and of course serve patrons at the bar if you choose. I told the bar tenders that it was my first time and they explained everything about this Farm To Table inspired restaurant. She also told me what they had that was not on the menu. I went for the quail as starter, pork shoulder for entree, and cheese cake for desert. The quail is unlike any other I have had. Crispy crunchy golden skin served over grits and both the poultry and the grits have their own signature herbs and spices that blend perfectly together. The pork shoulder comes with Mac N Cheese and collard greens. The pork is mouth watering tender and laid with just enough homemade barbecue sauce. The Mac N Cheese is made like a lasagna and just tastes amazing. And the collard greens!!! I've always, ALWAYS, have had to add somethin' to ANY/EVERYBODY'S greens, no matter HOW they made, mixed, and/or seasoned them. But THEESE greens are made, mixed, and seasoned to PERFECTION from the Chef to your plate. The best way to explain the two sides is: the Mac N Cheese will make yo grandma slap yo Momma for you. And the greens will have YOU askin grandma "did you forget how to cook?"

Ask them how they do it! It's amazing. I ordered the cheescake for dessert, because here its made with a little goat cheese. The and marscapone even it all out and the cherry compote and nuts really give it great texture and add to the flavor. You get what you pay for AND MORE!! The atmosphere is energetic, talk to your neighbor at the plate next to you, friendly-type of environment.

Best place around. Everything is local, and prepared at an expert level. The service is top tier, and the nicest people ever. It's got a bit of a steep price, but worth it for the best meal you'll ever have. This place would make Gordon Ramsay envious.

For the first time, we visited for an anniversary dinner after hearing such wonderful things. Frog Hollow did not disappoint!
