My 2014 Volvo S80 with 20k miles needed a computer...

My 2014 Volvo S80 with 20k miles needed a computer software fix Volvo Technical Service Bulletin # 383441 (CEM upgrade) because there was a constant drain on the battery (Sirius radio?). This is a common problem with the 2014 S80. They did the upgrade and also ran a load test on the battery and found it was bad, so they replaced it. There was no charge because the car was under warranty. The service manager was very friendly and helpful. I had an appointment, and they serviced my car on time and it took less than an hour.

Lied about my loan being rejected by credit union,...

Lied about my loan being rejected by credit union, said it was because of prior loan and open loan and bad credit report. I called credit union to see what was going on. They said only reason the rejected it was because the vehicle was listed $2,595 over book value. Tried negotiating a price but they said they wouldn't till the could secure a loan for me. I was giving them a $2,000 down payment.

Got the car in October from James Moffitt.in January started making a grinding sound it got worse so took it to friendship Ford and it was the put was bad give me a price of 1476.00 when they order the part called me said part # had changed . price for part was over 800 then when part # change it was 1200.Not had part in long enough to say good job or not. Terrible customer service. We wanted to purchase a new Fiesta because I wanted an inexpensive new car to get me out of the vehicle I currently had. When I bought my current vehicle a year ago, my credit was not very good and I got stuck in a very high interest rate so even after a year of on-time payments and an increase in my score, the balance has not gone down much so I reached out via e--mail to Friendship Ford. I thoroughly explained my situation to Larissa who called me repeatedly to have me bring in my car for an appraisal, saying and I quote "My honest opinion is that we have worked with worse cases than yours. With a hands on appraisal, 9 times out of 10 we offer more than KBB." So I scheduled an appointment with product specialist Dillon who was not very mature or professional. He immediately starting pushing for a credit check. I told them I wanted to know all the numbers first: the total price of the car, any rebates offered and the trade in appraisal before running my credit. They refused to even give me an offer or any information regarding rebates on the new car that might help with the negative equity I was trying to roll over until they ran my credit and Dillon kept assuring me and my husband that he would only do a "soft pull" which would not affect our credit score so we finally agreed to the soft inquiry.
When they finally came back with an appraisal, they valued my car at far less than KBB. They looked at our scores and simply said there was nothing they could do for us. Never even asked if we might be able to put more money down, and refused to budge even a few hundred dollars on the trade. Dillon made the comment that with as much money as my husband and I make, we should be able to buy almost any car on the lot. He also commented frequently that they do not work on commission which must be true because they obviously had no interest in selling to us. Perhaps that was because we only wanted a $12,000 car instead of a $40,000 one. To make matters worse, it WAS actually a hard inquiry that was placed on our credit which caused my score to drop further even though they never bothered to work up a proposed deal and submit it to any of their lenders. In fact NOT ONE manager or member of their finance team even bothered to speak to us the entire time we were there.
We went elsewhere and ended up buying a brand new Kia, which is a much nicer vehicle than the Fiesta and gets even better gas mileage. When we trade our other vehicle next year for a new Escape, we will not even consider Friendship Ford no matter what.

I purchased a new F-150 a few weeks ago from Friendship Ford. I had a great experience and was very happy. So A couple of weeks later when I wanted to purchase a new mustang, of course, I went back. This time I got a different salesman and sales manager. I was treated very poorly. They offered me almost nothing for my trade, which was only 2 1/2 years old, it still had the Ford 3yr/36k mile warranty, and they wouldn't budge on price at all on the new car. The sales manager said "I don't really need your trade because I already have 11 of them on the lot that I need to get rid of." So since they didn't seem to need my business, I went to another dealer.They gave me what I asked for on my trade and treated me very well. I guess it's all in who you deal with here.

So far Everytime I have had my Volvo, Ford, or Hyundai serviced at Friendship Ford the experience has been good. Everyone has been friendly and attentive and I've even been able to speak to the mechanics directly if needed.

When we set down to make the deal they come out with the first offer so I made them a offer the salesman said they will never go for that so I got up to walk out and the young manager said did the salesman help you out and I said yes everything's fine . The manager said what will it take to get you in the truck I told him my offer he laughed said that would make a good down payment. He said the best we can do is a couple hundred bucks from the original offer . I was disappointed in the way I was treated especially from management he was not professional at all.

I gave 4 stars Based on two factors. On the service itself I would have given 5 stars. On the actual scheduling I would only give 3 stars. In the past(old location) I have had to leave before because work ins were put in front of me when I had a scheduled appointment. I had hoped the newer, more modern, larger service area would make it easier to get in but you are still looking at 2-3 weeks to schedule an appointment if you are to have any flexibility in scheduling. While no one can plan for the unexpected, the service area had not presented itself as a place I can rely on if the unexpected happens. But as I noted, to actual service I have received up to now has been spot on. Also for those of us that come from out of town, your loaner capabilities are very sad. An actual dealership should never be without something a paying customer could not drive and do not rely on a car company as an outlet.

The Frienship team went on a road trip to Greeneville, SC and returned with an amazing 2017 Ford F150 that I will be proud to own / drive for years to come. Our experience with Friendship was better than I could have expected. Not only were the staff helpful and respectful, they were extremely accommodating and willing to actually work with us. Every other experience I ve had in purchasing a car I ve left the dealership feeling exhausted and taken advantage of. That just wasn t the case at all this time. Friendship was extremely efficient in helping us purchase our vehicle without wasting an entire day at the dealership, but we also never felt rushed or pressured. They legitimately appeared to wanted to help us find the right vehicle for the right price. We couldn t be more pleased and would highly recommend you visit Friendship before looking elsewhere.

Inquired about an F250 that was listed on their website for 45082. Called and spoke to dealership and ask if this was the correct price. They said yes, and that it was cheaper because it was a dealer swap. Went to make the purchase the following morning and new price was 64K. They said it was listed wrong. Time wasted and a lot of disappointment.

We live in North Carolina and less then 5 minutes from a Ford Dealership. We Came into Friendship Ford (2 hours from home) on a Saturday with a really good deal on a truck (2019 F150 XLT w/ Less then 100 miles on it) that we saw online (discounts were double). On arrival they apologized for the misleading price. They had a computer glitch. (Things happen, we understood). After a little while of negotiating, they got our payments right were we needed them. And left super happy!!! Their prices are amazing and they will continue to get our business.

I have a friend Abram Clark who brought his focus there to be diagnosed and the service department told him that the motor was blown, this was not the case a local mechanic that is trusted in Bristol repaired the focus ,it was only a sensor causing the error ,,Come on guys quit trying to rip people off just to sell a vehicle or to have somebody s trade! This was quoted to be a repair that would cost over $8000, and that wasn t even close to what it cost!

The younger taller manager would not even say anything after we offered, no counter offer or anything, just walked over there and said no when we offered 2000...... He never even had seen the car he was negotiating about...... Terrible experience never looking for cars at any friendship dealership again
