They did an even house for house between my x. They made absolutely no effort to find the true value of the house. He asked me and I told him Zillow says 200-250 then laughed out loud then I told him every thing on Zillow was overpriced. So we asked why are you putting the vaulue of $$$220.000 instead of the box that says traid don't worry which is what he said when we had questions after all then unanswered he sent In the notery. Well now my property Tax is almost $4,000 more a year. it's a very average 150,000 house

BEWARE of the folks at Fidelity,

BEWARE of the folks at Fidelity,
I most like won't see funds until Monday now - Putting my funding to 30days since this regrettable situation started. It should have been a 2-week process.
Your office is run unprofessionally with little attention to detail.

1. Waiting a week for an escrow report to be printed "someone dropped the ball" then lying about shipping it.
5-day delay
2. Forgetting to send me the Deed of Trust then trying to blame me for it. Seriously?
another 5-day delay
3. Not sending a document to the recorder's office due to a hole then lying about shipping it. 2 day delay

You folks need to get your act together! Quit Lying! It makes no one trust a thing you do.

Prior to becoming a Realtor, I was with my future ...

Prior to becoming a Realtor, I was with my future daughter-in-law when she went to Fidelity to sign documents. The experience was awful. Sent an email to two managers, and the escrow officer, describing the experience. In the email, I advised Fidelity that I was becoming a Realtor, and I did not want this experience to color my judgment of the company. No one replied. Some months later, when I was a Realtor, a representative of the company came to me asking for my escrow business. I conveyed my experience, she went back to management, and the reply was, "He was not the client." Fair enough. However, no one from Fidelity ever contacted the client, so the answer was B.S. Since that time, whenever I have a choice of escrow companies, I have never used Fidelity. In the few times when my buyers had to use them for title and escrow services, I have found that the quality of service had not materially improved.

I recently closed escrow on my new home. I have bought and sold four homes and am familiar with the home buying process. I therefore took careful consideration in choosing a realtor and lending officer I trusted in order to ensure a smooth and clean process. I did not however take any consideration in choosing a Title Company because in the past I have worked with Chicago Title here in the Fresno area and have never had a problem. I hope that this is my final home but if not, I will never again use Fidelity National. That is the Title Company that was used for the purchase of my current home. I was very dissatisfied with their customer service rep who assisted me with the final document signing. I was told several times at the close of escrow that I would receive my full deposit back because I qualified for a VA loan. When I received my deposit check in the mail it was nearly $800. short from what I had expected. I was never contacted nor was their a letter of explanation. When I called my escrow officer she had nothing to say except that a mistake had been made on my paper work and I wasn't entitled to the full refund of my deposit. It took several phone calls to her to finally get an answer that she had made a mistake on my paper work. Instead of apologizing for the error and for not contacting me, she told me, "what difference did it make, wouldn't you have bought the house anyway". She told me that she contacted my agent and loan officer with this information but both of them said they had never been contacted. When I called again to Fidelity to speak to her supervisor, I experienced the same attitude and her words to me were to basically get over it because it was after all only $790.04 and in the big scheme of things what difference did it make. Well as a single woman purchasing a home it made a big difference because I, like most people making such a large purchase, had budgeted to receive back what I had originally been told by Fidelity National Title associates. I do not recommend the Fidelity National Title Company located on Palm Avenue, Fresno California when purchasing your home.

having issues with them as we speak. they don't return calls. they did during the process but as soon as the loan was canceled, they've been hard to connect with. My advice, don't do business here. I'll update if I ever hear from them.

These people never returned 4 of my calls. I was never informed when we closed escrow. Had to find out through my Real Estate agent who was paid the next business day. I get a voicemail to tell me my escrow packet is waiting at the front desk. I signed papers with the notary, asking for an overnighting of these since I live 3 hours away. I called and they said they saw the paperwork and had just sent it...no overnight in just snail mail. It's been over a week and I still haven't received my packet or check. This company is the most unprofessional title company I have ever worked with...never again.

Did not love the customer service of this company. Everytime I called, I rarely got a call back from the representative and felt like I was a bother. I can count on one hand the number of times I called throughout the process, and most of the time, I was returning their call. I wouldn't recommend this company at all.

Fidelity National Title has been a great service I appreciate all their meticulous attention to detail when handling my clients process of issuing title or escrow services. The entire staff cares about every clients specific needs. Highly recommend, I have used them for the last 4 years.

I'm not sure what is going on with Fidelity Title ...

I'm not sure what is going on with Fidelity Title in Fresno these days. This has been my second time dealing with Fidelity and neither time was pleasant. Last time, their representative was late to an appointment and then tried to rush us signing documents. This time around, they held onto a refund check for almost a month before finally notifying us. When my father took time out of his day to inquire about it, a defensive representative met him in the reception area and rather than just apologize, attempted to offer bs excuses tantamount to "sometimes we notify people, sometimes we don't". Nice try at dodging. Providing free donuts to new real estate agents to convince them to use your title company will only go so far. Perhaps work harder on being professional with your actual clients if you want to have a good reputation. According to Google, Yelp and other sites, Fidelity have a long way to go. And if you look at my prior reviews online, I'm not someone who hands out low stars.
