I have taken my kids to this hotel once to try it and my kids were only two three and five when we went and they had an absolute blast they are still talking about going until this day so I am taking them back again it made them very happy and it is well worth the trip so much to do and so close to the boardwalk a nice restaurant indoor and outdoor water park perfect package

It was horrible! The bathrooms are disgusting, the outdoor pool water is cold, the people at the front desk are friendly but not helpful and it is very dingy but ill give it a one out of five because it was a good price and the indoor pool was alright.

We love it here. We stay every year with three chirren.

It said resort . We got a motel. This is false advertisement and I am very disappointed.

Lots of fun and very clean. The food was good and reasonably priced. You do have to pay for ice .25.

Our favorite kid friendly place to stay in ocean city. 4 years going strong staying here for our summer vacations. The staff is amazing. We had noisy neighbors this year & the staff didn't hesitate to move us to another room. They make it so nice for the kiddos. The mermaids who come to swim with the kids are the icing on the cake. We love this place.

The staff was amazing and friendly. My dad works here as well, and he's content with how the workers interact.

good resort, kids loved it... indoor pool a blessing on rainy days and the outdoor mini golf was a treat for our kids - economy room with kitchenette too tight, not much to use and cook with either so bring your own stuff.

We come every year. Great little indoor pool/water park area for visits in the off season. Highly recommend.

Great resort for families, the shuttle to the boardwalk is such a time saver and valuable feature. Indor pool was too much for me with the doors shut and the strong odor of chlorine. Might need to do a better job enforcing some sort of diaper rule or something as 5 times we were at the pools there were turds found and the pools closed. The bars on site are a great value and much appreciated after a long day with little ones. All and all a decent stay and look forward to k going back.

This is a great place to take your family on vacation to especially if you have kids.I love this place my wife and son love it here also.

DO NOT STAY HERE there were ants everywhere the room smelled terrible the beds are uncomfortable the bathroom is very small there are better places you should be staying

Service and amenities are great. In room kitchenette is great, and shuttle to boardwalk is super convenient

Do not hesitate to book! Went for a small family getaway and we can t wait to go back. The indoor pool was great for chilly days. A lot to do to keep the kids busy and the rooms were a decent size and clean.

We love this resort! We ve been three times and have enjoyed every stay. The outdoor pool and bar are awesome, and the indoor pool is great for rainy days. There s so much to do at the resort that we don t visit the beach much! The shuttle to the boardwalk is convenient, and we ve never had to wait for more than a few minutes for one. The rooms could use a refurbishment (that s why they lost a star from me), but they re a decent size and very clean. We can t wait to come back!

First time here and me and my daughter are having a blast hotel rooms are great the pool area was amazing they have miniature golf the food and drinks at the bar just wonderful I will be back

I keep going each year because of the water park and pool for the kids. The hotel rooms are small and uncomfortable.

I had written a negative review about a year ago but was contacted by the owners and urged to take it down. I believe the so-called resort has such good reviews for this exact reason. The shower made an ungodly screeching noise when used. Everything was old, discolored, and unclean. The pool felt very gross. It was definitely not a resort and was definitely not worth the money that was paid.

Very family friendly, tons of activities for the entire family. Rooms are a nice size, hotel is clean and staff is super friendly. Hotel offers family move nights, indoor pool, out door pool, mini golf, and splash pad. The amount of things to do at the resort are endless. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a nice family friendly vacation

Great place for families. Lots of rules. But friendly staff. Rooms are fine but outdated. I hear there are remodeled ones, however.

Great location, plenty of water activities for the kids in house. Free shuttle to and from the boardwalk. Will visit again and stay at the vacation house.

Sept 2015 Update: After speaking with the owner of the resort, Annmarie Dickerson, our family is very pleased to inform everyone that she is a stand up lady who tries hard to make wrongs right. We will be returning to Francis Scott Key Resort in Aug of 2016 to have a wonderful family vacation. We look forward to making our time there a great one!

Aug 2015: This year was completely horrible; the fact that the resort was unwilling to accommodate the needs of an elderly and disabled patron was quite disheartening. Even though they make a note in your reservation to make adjustments and I asked for a room on the 1st floor this accommodation was overlooked and not taken seriously. When I checked in, I was told by Becky, that there was nothing they could do other than call the Comfort Inn or give us a full refund, and that there are people who book in October to get rooms of their choice. Another front desk attendant said they couldn t possibly inconvenience someone who was staying 3 days, well they inconvenienced us, and we stayed 7 days not to mention the reservation was fully paid for in advance when I booked it in March. If it was not for the fact that my family didn't want to ruin a vacation which had been planned for months I would have opted to take the refund and not stay at the resort at all. The room's floor was disgustingly dirty and left our feet black, the food was subpar and over-priced, also it is completely stupid that the gift card can't be used at the pool chicken and rib shack, which is where most people spend their time if not in the indoor pool. The only things that were good about the stay were our room service person, she was great, and the my daughter s love for the pool which was not a great improvement from the change, there should have been a deeper area like the previous pool had for people who can swim. The new setup is geared towards getting the parents inebriated while racist lifeguards pick and choose which color children to enforce rules upon. Several times we witnessed the lifeguards disregard the rule of no children in the hot tub until little black children decided to get in, and then the lifeguard fully enforced this rule even when the children s parents were with them. I am saddened by all of this because of the convenience of the resort to Assateaque Island and the multiple pools. We d planned to make this an annual trip, but certainly we will not be back to FSK ever again!

Clean, children-friendly place. Our kid liked the included little water park and mini golf at this motel resort. Staff is cordial. Rooms are basic and worn, but decent for beach casual. Comfortable memory foam beds. And dependable shuttle runs to boardwalk ever half hour.

This is a great place for the family. There is plenty of stuff to keep the kids busy & stuff for the parents to be able to relax. The pools are great & each has food & a bar. There is a restaurant right on the property, so breakfast & lunch are a short walk away. Also, they have a shuttle to take you to the boardwalk, so no worries about parking in town & paying.

I had a wonderful time at this resort. It had some many things for the guests to do (swimming, mini golf, volley ball, bbq, movie nights). The staff were very great too.

Kids love this place. So much fun and great for getting away in the winter.

We have been staying at FSK for 3 years now and they are hands down the BEST resort that we have stayed at in OC me. We usually do the family budget special from Sunday to Friday (you check in Sunday and you get the 5th night FREE) WHICH IS FANTASIC for the price .Thry are located a mile outside of OC me and they offer a free shuttle service everyday from 8am-9pm. They have MANY AMMENTIES and they are kid/pet/family friendly ... they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is FABULOUS! WE HAVE ALREADY BOOKED OUR VACA WITH FSK this year for August. We also visit a couple weekends in between ...we just love everything about FSK. I must make a special mention of a extremely wonderful staff member Tara.. I beleive she works at the front desk.She has really helped me with booking our stay this year...thank you Tara...wev look forward to see you soon !!!

Stayed in the Florida rooms again. Love the flexibility of a kitchenette in the rooms. The indoor pool was great as usual but did miss the giant animal float that was in the middle every year previous. The water is very hard nowadays and soap doesn't not lather or rinse off easily. They upgraded the chairs in the movie room! However the screen is too small and the larger chairs block the view for missy of the room. Would suggest multiple screens.

This place has always been amazing. Been coming her for the last 10yrs. My daughter loves it

My family and I have been staying at FSK for years when we visit ocean city. We love the family fun atmosphere, it's clean and the service is wonderful.

My first time being there the rooms were very clean everybody was very nice and very friendly and very conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to go

Wonderful family atmosphere. You could literally have all of the fun that you want right at the resort.

We are sooooo glad we made the time to book a room and spend some time with family. We loved it all! It is very clean and the staff was very friendly. The indoor pool was amazing and relaxing. And, the location is perfect..shopping outlets, many great restaurants, and the beach within minutes. If you are considering them, don't hesitate and don't miss out on a spectacular time with memories for a lifetime. It is a treasure.

I do not have to talk about experience because whoever went to this city was my mother, but just watching the videos that she sent me is all beautiful

Great family resort . Fun for everyone, friendly staff

This is a motel; not a hotel and definitely not resort worthy. The rooms are VERY outdated and the cleanliness is questionable. There were hairs in our shower, ants on the sink area, and it did not appear as though the dark, dingy carpets had been vacuumed. The pillows were hard, the comforters a dingy brown color, and the bathroom was really small with a very low and small toilet. The decor was not what you would expect at the beach. I woke up at 1a.m. and thought it was daylight because of the bright lights outside the window. I had to put a sheet over the window in order to make the room dark enough to sleep. I would compare this to a campground stay with decent pools and amenities. Nothing luxurious about the rooms.

We loved this place. The Indoor pool was amazing for all the different aged kids in our family. I loved that the hot tubs are Adult Only. The rooms were clean and the staff is friendly. We will definitely be back as our kids said this is by far their favorite place to stay in/near OC

Great rates. Family atmosphere is wonderful. Indoor pool for the kids. Have been staying here the last 28 years with my family. The have great discounts for local area attractions.

Drove 4 hours and was told room was not ready at 4:00 because of covid-19 and they are understaffed. I was told they would call me when my room was ready. I drove around with 2 kids and pregnant wife until 6:00 and decided to return. I was then told they were too busy to call me and tell me the room was ready. Room was disgusting and dirty and the water smells like rotten eggs. When I checked out i was told they couldn't do anything for me and I should understand. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Came during the off season and it was awesome. Indoor pool is huge and fun but definitely geared for younger kids because the deepest part of the pool is 4 ft. Outdoor pool area is really fun as well. Mini-golf is tiny but for a free amenity I can't complain. Rooms are kind of small but they list the Sq footage when you book so we knew what we were getting. My only complaint is for a "family" resort the hot tub for the indoor pool is 18+ and the "family hot tub" at the outdoor pool is 14+. Still overall a great value considering it's the same cost as a regular hotel. One more note, no fans in the exercise room, can get a little hot.

Went for an indoor pool party, it was OK but the chlorine made me sick, my daughter had a blast with the slides

Had high hopes & the facility looked so promising. Our room appeared to have been updated & at first glance was nice, but after 10 minutes the problems started showing. There was at least 10 flies in the room, we later found ants & a roach. What appeared to be soda stuck to walls in obvious spots house keeping should have seen was not even attempted to be wiped up. A crib was supposed to be in the room, we had to call twice to have it delivered. When it was dropped off it had stuff stuck to the bottom, was dirty. They were nice enough to drop off some cleaning supplies, like we should have to clean the room ourselves as part of our stay. After spending our first 45 minutes cleaning our room & the crib a lady dropped off a new base for & apologized for us having to clean everything...she stated "I don't know why they don't fire all the house keepers, they never do their jobs". The management staff seemed nice, were apologetic & tried to resolve the issues, but at some point they need to evaluate what is going on with their staff. This place is really on the cusp of being really great.

Now for some good stuff...the location is very convenient, close to everything & has a free shuttle to the boardwalk. The pools, splash zone & other attractions were nice & the kids enjoyed them. I booked directly through the hotel & they seemed to have the best rates & room selection. They also offered discounts for staying certain days or lengths of time that booking sites did not.

My review is critical & I was disappointed with my stay, but I would not completely dismiss this option compared to others in the area. As stated, they are very close to having a great thing. They have clearly invested in their property, have many things going for them in the family fun department & with some tweaks to staff expectations, cleanliness & more focus on the guest experience they will be a great stay for sure.

Great place especially in winter.. nice pool amd plenty to do nearby... drinks by the bar was a nice touch too. Margaritas in thr winter.

I was assured before booking that everyone must wear a mask all over the property except when you're in the water....far from the reality. There was signage but absolutely no enforcement and no attempt at all to social distance. Feels like the old bait and switch.

Great for families, clean and nice water areas for the kids. Diner was really cool but because they leave front doors open there were a lot of flies. Blonde in the front office had attitude when I brought it up.life guards are so nice and helpful with a medical incident.

awesome. our family loved it. the pool is great, the drinks are also very good and our rooms were very cozy and clean.

We were passing through to pick up equipment and had our two toddlers with us, I specifically stayed here because it s advertised as a family resort that s the reason I paid $296 as compared to a motel at $70. From the moment we checked in and headed to our room, we knew we had messed up. We literally watched a drug deal go down, followed by someone smoking pot right out in front of our room. My boys wanted to go check out the amenities after being cooped up in the vehicle all day but they were crowded with grown up parties. It was horrible. We chose to leave and go hang out around town and just come back after the sun went down which we did and at that point it was even worse than it was when we left. There were literally parties on every block down every road. We went for a walk and turned around and came back we didn t touch or go near any of the amenities that they offer. My boys were so disappointed. At midnight there was a gathering of adults out in front of our door who were drinking, then they got into a scuffle over some girl. Security was riding by the whole time every few minutes and didn t say or do a damn thing. The room was very outdated and dusty, during a pandemic I would ve at least expected a clean room but no, every inch was dusty and musty. I was literally scared to be there in every sense. I said to my family let s just sleep and get the hell outta here Before I left this review I called and talked to management, as a small business owner I know how frustrating reviews can be, he was unapologetic and told me the attraction to the place was that parents could hang out and drink while their kids played followed by they have no way to screen guests which I did understand but security needs to step it up seriously! Extremely disappointed and out $300 on this OFF THE INTERSTATE MOTEL which is exactly what it felt like.

This resort has unfortunately created a huge inconvenience for my family in not allowing any visitors to enter the recreation areas when they have family or friends staying here. Be advised, if you stay here they give their guests and only their guests wrist bands to use at the pool areas. If you want to stay here and have friends in the area that want to visit you while you are staying they will not be allowed to enter any one the the recreation areas. No exceptions, period. This would have been nice to know ahead of time. I came here to spend time with family I don't see but once a year. Total crap.

Amazing place to stay while visiting Ocean City. The amenities alone make it worthwhile while the beach is icing on the cake.

This is wonderful resort. We have stayed here every year for the 4th of July, for the last 7 years. Love it!!

Rooms are nice. Really great indoor pool and splash area. Kids loved it, had a great time.
