Beautiful location and very historical. Worth going for any artist you are interested in seeing. The staff is the reason for the 3 stars. They frisk you at the door very rudely and even frisk kids. The lines inside are ridiculously long and the prices for concessions are high.

The only theater I have ever been to where they put the time the door opens as opposed to the time the show starts in the ticket. Very confusing, they should make that clear! We rushed through dinner only to find out we didn t need too! Get with it Fox Theater!
Tried to buy a ticket for my husband traveling to see family over the phone. They suggested I fly out and buy the ticket in person, or pay for multiple seats through ticketmaster and pay their fees for the tickets. They absolutely refused to sell me a ticket despite offer of e-mailing all ID or ways in which to get the ticket. It was one ticket so he could enjoy a show with family. The assistant manager must not understand that this is 2019 and someone should be able to buy a ticket. I have traveled all over the world and seen so many shows and yet this theater is the only one to ever suggest I fly from Texas to purchase a ticket. The theater may be awesome and I m sure the show will be great but this is the worst customer service I have seen from any venue.
people without education, all unemployed do not let see, you can not enjoy, quiet of a good show, apart from thieves we stole a phone, so expensive, very frustrating
It's a great intimate venue with nice acoustics and great sightlines. Accommodating staff and ample nearby parking. Parking was free on Sunday evening.
Small nice theater, very friendly staff I felt secure. I bought the tickets online and I parked in the street, after 6p.m. is free, doors open an hour before the event, so we didn't wait long, we had a good view, even if I was almost all the way back, my friends and I have a great time!
Had the honor of date night with my hubby. What a perfect opportunity to see Joe Rogan at this sweet lil venue. You can feel the history in this building.
There is no bad seat in the whole place. It is a comfortable place to see a movie, considering its age. We saw "Frozen" with audiences sing along. It was wonderful to see all the kids singing and dancing to the movie.
Saw brit floyd, great sound the only down fall its smaller stage compared to san Diego, fox blew up pig for song and looked like blow up was to big for stage, song never started, problably because stage was smaller, San Diego played song and used pig, would been nice to see pig at fox!
We attend to watch Paul Anka, for who doesn't know him is a singer from the 60's songwriter, compositor, arranger of songs as "my way" written for Frank Sinatra as del "Let me try again" for Sinatra too... So my main concern, as a musician,, more than a doubt of Anka's performance, was the quality of the sound. This is a great place with great accoustic and they way they worked the sound system was perfect.
Saw a live show of PAW patrol with the kids. Like the theater, pretty standard and has a historic feel to it. Good production quality and professional staff. They have a catering area with decent selection of concession.
FOX Performing Arts, is nothing short of fantastic. My Wife and I and best friends have had the opportunity and pleasure of enjoying all FOX PERFORMING ARTS; has to offer. I SAY; TRY THEM ,You will be happy u did.
Took girlfriend here for an evening out. I was impressed with the sound quality. Being that this was our first visit, we were both impressed and would recommend friends. Will be back for a few more shows, perhaps around Christmas and can hit the mission inn lights show later.
Great Venue!! Every seat has a ckear view of stage. I have seen many different types of shows here and they all have been super. My only complaint is that people are allowed up and down during performances. It definately was a distraction during " Stomp". Easy access parking and exiting parking structures was quick!!
Last night I went to ber in pairs. Y. Supposedly the event was at 8:30 and it was not to itself. They did not repeat the schedule that I had on the ticket
So my girlfriend and I had purchased tickets for the Up movie experience. Now we are HUGE Up fans so you can imagine our disappointment When we walk into the theater and there sits a fox theater back drop and in front of it was NOT an up house but a random dog house with a measly 8 balloons and the plush dog in the dog house wasn t even the correct dog for the movie. Not to mention the lighting was horrible making us not want to post the picture whatsoever! I would have rather seen a cardboard cut out of the up house then a random dog house. And The pop corn was super salty, but they did gladly exchange the popcorn though. Then the candy bar was just all random and looked like random candy just thrown on a table. But we expected an UP EXPERIENCE, and in our books we were greatly disappointed with the effort put into this event! With the profits these kind of events pull in we expected more out of this event! Also it s super freezing outside, do you have to blast the AC inside as well !? Then the letters for your rows are missing making us guess at where our seats were. They offered to help us find our seats, but there help was, ok go down to about the middle and your seats are on the left . Then one of the arm rests completely fell off(O107), and we were missing all the cup holders in front of us(P105&106). By the way the second batch of pop corn was still SUPER SALTY. We made it about an 1/8th of the way through our second batch of popcorn. Thank god for our overly priced $3 good old fashioned Hershey s with almond chocolate bar. It was yummy. They played Disney music for the hour before the movie started but never once did an Up song come on.
2 DISAPPOINTED UP FANS.
We would like to know how Fox Theater plans to do better in the future!
Beautiful theater! If you can, see a show here! Easily accessible restrooms and ample bars (including one upstairs). Sometimes parking is a pain, but if you don't mind walking a few blocks you can usually fine free street parking. Highly recommend this Riverside gem!
