My experience with Fourmidable was a nightmare. I was approved to move in the apartments on 9/11/2017. I was interested in their renovated units. After being approved my leasing agent told me the apartment was still being updated and they would need "some time". I paid my holding deposit and was prepared to wait for a month at most. Every other week the leasing agent called me and told me they would need more time. I was given several excuses. It wasn't until December 18 that I recieved a call saying that I could actually move into the unit. Due to not being called until the weekend before Christmas (Christmas was Monday), I requested to move in a week later after the holiday had passed. After all I waited 3 months, I never thought that would be an issue. My leasing agent sent me 3 different Move in Bills, all incorrect due to her own mistakes. Once I complained and became frustrated I was told that I could no longer move in because she felt I wasn't being professional. I waited 3 months for nothing only to be told the week of Christmas that due to my attitude I was no longer allowed to move in. My daughter didn't have a Christmas tree this year because I waited, only to be met with Ego, disrespect, and horrilbe customer service. Please stay away and I hope the FHA looks into Fourmidable as a company. I reached out to the regional property manager to seek a solution only to be met with a snarky email only regergitating everything the property manager already said to me, without her ever even taking the time to speak with me. In hindsight I am very happy I didnt move in here. Every time I visited their office there were irate residents, and one person stated they had no door knob on the inside of their apartment and couldn't even get out. Do better. Everyone deserves respect and fair business. I am also still waiting to recieve my holding deposit from months ago.

I wish I could give it a ----0. Terrible can't communicate with...NO operator at business, regional manager NO response to phone calls...on site managers NO authority to do anything but RAISE rent and host INSPECTIONS. I NEED HELP!

One of the properties in Mississippi has horrible management and upper management . I know the managers have a job to do, but being rude and talking smart to current tenants and potential tenants does not make you a good manager. I have a relative that lives at one of their properties in Mississippi, something supposedly happened after my daughter left for work and now they re trying to evict her. This property management is a joke and shady. They turn a blind eye to certain ones, but my daughter did not have knowledge of what happened until a whole day later when a note was left on her door. She did not receive a call or anything. I would not recommend this property to anyone! I ve advised my daughter to seek legal advice on the matter. If I could rate a 0, I would!

I have lived in Country Meadows for 6 years and once Fourmidable took over management this complex 2 years ago this place has gone straight down hill. The Management office is now poor and the maintenance department is now incompetent.

If possible no stars would be given, WORSE PROPERTY MANAGER EVER!!! If you are interested in leasing with them, DONT!!!!!

PM does not recognize the proper steps and procedures when dealing with tenants, compulsive liars and frauds!!!

I called Central Park Apartments at around 4pm on a Tuesday to ask if they had any 2BRs available. The person on the phone said yes and told me to apply online. I put in my $100 application fee only to get a call the next morning saying the apartment actually isn t available. When I asked if I could get a refund for my application fee, the woman said it s non-refundable. This was a system error on their part and they still tried to screw me over of $100. After arguing, the woman agreed to contact her regional director.

The following Monday, I was called saying the check would be ready by the end of Friday but to come in on the next Tuesday to pick it up (the next Monday was MLK Jr. Day). I showed up at 4:30pm on that Tuesday to pick it up and no one was in office (they are supposed to be open until 5pm every weekday). I called the next day and they said the check isn t ready but they talked to the regional director and she said it ll be ready within 30 days, but more likely 2.5 weeks. As soon as I threatened legal action, my check was suddenly ready the next business day using cash from their petty fund.

This lack of $100 caused an overdraft in my account leading to fees and late bills, resulting in even more bank fees and late fees. After all this time, the regional director promised to call me directly to apologize. She never did. I have read multiple terrible reviews about The Fourmidable Group online. Do not do business with Central Park Apartments or Fourmidable under any circumstances.

Thanks for losing me over $300 and being so unprofessional to not even call me and apologize, Fourmidable and Central Park Apartments.

They just bought Ashland manor in Toledo, Ohio and they are absolute trash. They hire a scared manager and she somehow promotes the janitor to assistant manager (found out they knew each other before becoming coworkers) then the assistant manager's boy friend becomes janitor who ive never seen actually clean up until they were notified of a HUD inspection and every single thing they want us to do, they threaten you with eviction notices and prior to the HUD inspection notice, they didn't take care of the property and I have time stamped pics showing the trash outside before and after the notice and I'm turning that into HUD. They treat us like children and dont fix anything, they only push out more and more BS policies and the manager Sheena McMickens refuses to do anything about it. She blames everything on the company or her overseer Robin so she cant take fault and tries to act buddy buddy with the crowd. They have no respect for handicap people by having limited handicap parking and then the employees get to park out front while the disabled have to walk way further? Then the assistant manager has the audacity to park in a handicap spot when there is less than 10 spaces. Don't get an apartment from these awful slum lords, do your research and take anything else. I would rather have drinks with Cardi B and Bill Cosby while Casey Anthony babysat my kids then rent from these money grabbers.

I wish I could give this place a 0. Please save yourself a lot of stress and do not move into any apartments they manage. I lived in their Cambridge Apartmemts for two years and that last several months have been torture. The apartment complex was decent before the new owners and property management took over. Now, it is not fit for anyone to live here. There is no maintenance crew available and phones calls for service go unanswered. If you do get someone on the phone they are extremely rude and unprofessional.

They don't clean the apartments after someone moves out, there was hair and beads in all the cabinets when we moved in, they repainted the chipped and cracking cabinets and let every swipe of paint run so it looks worse than before. The carpet was stained, toilet was broken, these guys own several complexes and I would never rent from any of them ever again. Steer clear of these guys.

I lived in Oakland Park Towers (920 on the Park) I over 20 years ago and from reading the reviews, not much has changed. They kicked out a guy for typing on a typewriter at night. They tried kicking me out several times even though I never missed a rent check or had a late payment. One time, it was because I talked to a female staff member who worked there less than a month. This old, fat guy came in from Corporate and threatened me and I told him, in no uncertain terms, you wanna kick me out, kick me out. They never did. I left of my own volition. When I moved back to the area and tried getting back in, they said I owed them money for scratching the countertop. I tried paying them, had to send it to three different places to get that resolved and they still didn't let me back in. As many have said on here, I'd give them a zero, but two stars is sufficient.

They are inconsiderate to the needs and request of their residents. I have been complaing about the smell of marijuana pouring into my apartment from a neighbor's home and absolutely nothing has been done about it. The office on site says they have several complaints throughout the complex but they do nothing and the corporate office does nothing, not even respond to your emails... The walls are thin like paper and you can hear everyones everything and smell cigarettes and marijuana come through. They don't seem to be concerned. Seems like they have the attitude that it's not happening to them, they dont have to deal with it attitude. Very sad.

The only people you can get a hold of are people who have no ability or authority to actually help you and management won't returns calls.... All bad

At the reserve apt on 9 and greenfied. I signed a legal document to break my lease at the apt for waiting 5 month's to repair my bathroom, fix black water from pipes etc. An ENTIRE LIST of issue's that i have begged and pleaded with since i moved here in July of 2017. Today my daughter's were scared to **** when a man showing my kids his gun with an eviction notice for two days from NOW. NOT ONLY is this illegal. I'd advise ANY and ALL people to research their place beofre moving and check rating system for the management group that supervises properties. This is the way people are treated at the reserve and through fourmidable management. Fyi. They also towed my car(wasn't under the shabby falling down carport!!!!!

Great office and maintenance staff! Changes for the better are definitely on the horizon over Carriage Circle.

This is not a good management company to work for or live at their communities, upper management is no help what so ever, no support from upper management, if anyone comes across this management company run don't walk away.
