Wonderful stay. Pricey, but worth every penny if you can afford it
Wonderful stay. Pricey, but worth every penny if you can afford it
Had some drinks here. Great beach front with beautiful pool. Great lobby and lounge. Outside seating was very plentiful
Hands down one of the best spa experiences I've ever had. The hale hau couples massage was amazing and they put so much thought into the details of the experience. Cannot recommend it enough.
Worst restaurants in all of Wailea. Service is good, it better be at $1000 a night. Staff are friendly to you because they are paid to be. It feels fake and it is fake. Watch how they treat people they are not paid to be friendly with to see how they really are.
Excellent everything ! Amazing service and food ! Overall requisite ! Excellent ! Stayed on other like the Hilton and Hyatt but nothing like the quality of everything here at the four seasons ! Worth every penny ! My favorite ! Nice job guys !
Breathtaking facility as a whole. Complete package beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants.
Been here several times and this place never disappoints. Amazing staff, hotel is immaculate and if you have a problem, they go above and beyond to make the customer happy. P.S. The serenity pool and cabanas are amazing!
Thee nicest people running a tight and clean place... we'll be back
Beautiful hotel in one of the nicest place on Maui - Waillea. You will not be disappointed
Nice posh hotel with impressive art collection and elegant atmosphere.
I think parts of this hotel were in Adam Sandler s movie Just Go With It . Staying here felt like I was in a movie myself! The pools were nice and located right by the ocean. They offered kayaking excursions and while we were out there kayaking a pod of dolphins swam by. We snorkeled a little ways from the hotel and were greeted by many sea turtles. Definitely a place I ll keep in my memories forever
Great place to stay if you can staff are outgoing and always extremely friendly and the food is wonderful as well the rooms are properly furnished and have fruit and water topped up daily.
Everything is done right. The place to stay in Wailea.
Always a fantastic time here. I don't stay just come down for happy hour. Great view, excellent service, but it's the spicy tuna roll that brings me back over and over again!
Resort is nice, lots of restaurants to try. ($$$$$) I prefer the condo living though but nice place to visit
A WONDERFUL PLACE ON THE EARTH TO HAVE LOT'S OF FUN WITH FAMILY & FRIEND ROUND THE YEAR !
I'm completely floored with this place. The staff is second to none, truly. What a wonderful bunch of people. The room, we got a smoking deal online. Partly because of its location, above a garage without a view. But its actually perfect. The garage is a floor or two down and covered. I didn't realize it was there until my gal pointed it out. The non - view is a wall of trees and plants which is great. No one can see us. Our lanai is completely secluded as a result! I'm sitting in my shorts sipping coffee while i write this listening to an orchestra of birds and bugs, really cool. The room is big, the biggest I've stayed in by a mile. The bed is killer, which I ALWAYS, ALWAYS have issue with. I want this bed! The property blows my mind. I'm blue collar for the most part but even knowing I'm not high society, this place impresses everyone around us to. We've over heard numerous "rich people" speak warmly and familiarly with staff. People keep coming back. I can see why. The pools ate stunning works of art. Music is piped underwater. Swim underwater and you'll heart Hawaiian music! Oh! Swim up bar, that's fun. The adults only pool is an infinity pool on the second floor which overlooks the ocean! Food is great. Wait staff is on point. Our dining is thoroughly enjoyable and delicious. So many choices and tastes. Kind of pricey, but plan it in to your budget and you'll be fine. Alternatively, there's a great market that had produce, drinks and even a kitchen. You can save a bunch eating lunches there. By snacks for day trips etc. Although i can't find reasons to leave. It doesn't get much better than this place. If you don't like the four sessions it's no fault of the hotel I assure you.
Wonderful staff. Every square inch of hotel is clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping kept our room in tip-top condition. Great beach access, wonderful views, excellent workout facilities, and flawless personnel earn this hotel a solid 5 stars. A frugal traveler with strong legs will find a reasonably-priced grocery store near the Shops of Wailea a short 20 minute hike away ;)
That place it's amazing. Pricey but I can see why... real nice
Went to there lobby bar for cocktails and an app. Shawn and Ashley killed it. Probably the best service I've had recently. Ahi flatbread was good, the Two Doves Mezcal drink was phenomenal. I still understand why this lobby bar is the number one in Wailea. The staff and their training is superb!!
The four seasons is stunning. The grand views from the restaurant, to the beautiful pool area speak for themselves.
Excellent service from staff at lobby, pool side, and beach. Great attention to family with young kids. Most important is that they have an outstanding kids club program which makes it possible for parents to relax and to enjoy the massages, nice dinners, and resort amenities.
Friendly, clean and good, but instead the pool was short and uncomfortable
Understanding that the Four Seasons has stunning grounds, but, the property seems to much or large for the service they could handle and you should receive for the price. We were put in room 670 seems like a half a mile from anything and located above the hotel pumps and maintenance area of some kind for over $1000 a night. No hotel of that caliber should have a room like that for that price and do it with arrogance and confidence as they did. Living with the room we wanted to relax the next day checking in at 1am. Impossible. If you didn t reserve a adult pool chair for two for $100 then you are welcomed to sit in the pool and relax there be put on a wait list that had -0 others ahead of us. Are you kidding me?! The other pool which was like being in Disneyland, and dirty, that too was full, what was found for us was on a walk way that they have high brush blocking the ocean completely, so simple cut it down and you can see a masterpiece of ocean. Needless to say at that moment of sitting on lounge a long distance from the beach the pool a drink, or just anything, we decided to leave. Thank goodness we did.
Checking in that evening exhausted, the next morning opening our curtains the next day to see the grounds pumps and just the backside of nothing, then walking to try and relax and just sit to appreciate the beautiful island, it could not be achieved, not even close. It was just crazy. We packed up and left.
The minute we stepped on the grounds of the Fairmount Kea Lani everything changed and we began our trip. We lost $2000 at the Four Seasons on the property for no more tha 8 hours and charged for the two nights though there less than a day, we didn t care. It was insulting to have such a property and literally see the out of control service of this property. I know all the properties here and travel a great deal understanding that sometimes things happen but, this is not that. At the Kea Lani there was another couple that left with the same experience. Never to return to the Four Seasons Maui.
We went to Hawaii for two weeks to enjoy my wife's birthday. We stayed at the Four Seasons for the second week, and every moment was enjoyable. When we arrived there was some nice music playing. The singer had some talent, and it added a very nice ambiance.
Four Seasons is right on the beach, which means you get plenty of activities. You can drink by the pool or looking out at the beach (from a ways back - no drinks on the beach itself). You can walk or bike up a nice path that stretches between resorts. You can of course play in the water or go snorkeling with hotel equipment, which beat the rental equipment in Kona. We even saw a massive sea turtle, which swam right up to and under us! There are plenty of nearby attractions: too many to list here. We could have entertained ourself on Maui for the entire two weeks and more.
I didn't notice any bugs or strange smells during the entire stay, which isn't easy in Hawaii. The room was clean and smelled nice. The built-in radio was ... old school, and some of the channels had terrible interference from the nearby stations. That said, we brought our own bluetooth deal and didn't spend a lot of time in the room.
Prices weren't bad for the stay, especially during the off-season. If you plan to eat or drink at the resort you'll be charged quite a bit extra, but we enjoyed the experience nonetheless. We found the food at the Wolfgang Puck restaurant to be particularly disappointing: it was dry and bland. We still enjoyed watching the sun set over the water with excellent service.
Do realize that a resort like this is not like real life on Hawaii, and it was a bit of a shock after staying in villages people actually live in on the big island. It's not a negative, but it's worth remembering the product here is an idealized version of paradise.
We stopped by many nice resorts and hotels for meals, and I was not impressed after staying here. I don't want to talk bad about the nearby resorts, but there are noticeable issues with some of the other places' grounds, even those that are also considered 5 star elite resorts.
Service was incredible. Room service was excellent, and housekeeping was magic. We kept late hours and the housekeeping staff never bothered us. We joked about the magical creatures that must have been hiding in wait to clean our rooms. We never saw them, and they were in and out of the room even when we just went to get breakfast. We wondered at times whether staff knew we own a travel website or not, but I'm pretty sure they just treat everyone well. I think we've been converted to regular Four Seasons guests and look forward to staying with them at other places throughout the world.
I heard from family and friends that this hotel is very nice but the service at the Ritz was much better. I am Currently planning my Honeymoon to Maui for this November and I have a lot to think about before making my decision.
Been coming here for years. The service is incredible, they go above and beyond! Incredible hotel, views, rooms, and beaches.
This is a beautiful resort very well-maintained and up-to-date with an incredibly friendly staff it makes you feel valued as a customer I would highly recommend them to anyone
This resort is overall disappointing. It is just too big to get the resort feeling you would expect from a Four Seasons. Neither the setting nor the style are special in any way. It is also overcrowded with service of very varying quality. We had two major incidents at Lobby Lounge Restaurant on the first day and Duo Steak Bar on the final day of our stay with catastrophic servicee and endless waiting times. The first one was properly handled by management and we got some nice suprises to make up for the experience on the following days (still would prefer just having a nice dinner). But the final evening in Duo Steak Restaurant was a service nightmare. Again endless waiting times and (even after it was addressed multiple times to the waiter and management) and many issues more our leftover soups and side dishes were not removed until we left the restaurant after dessert. In Room Dining waiting time is a standard 70+ minutes waiting time. Pool area gets so crowded that practically everyone goes to the pool before breakfast to get a place there. The cardio area of the gym is an outdoor space which will give you a very hot training experience that I personally dislike. No idea why they have the weights and strength equipment inside in the cool area and the cardio outside. My wife had a way below average massage in the SPA. We had good dinner at Ferraro's (Italian) twice and other than the many issues above most of the staff was helpful and friendly.
The Creme-de-la-Creme on Maui. Any reason to go is Worth It!! Request my friend Renato at Ferraro's for the best night ever
Sorry! I wrote a review earlier and accidentally wrote we stayed at the Grand Wailea. We stayed chose to stay at the Four Seasons and we had a perfect vacation!! Everyone at the Four Seasons was extremely friendly and professional. It was a perfect vacation!
Beautiful resort. Food is way overpriced, but service is beyond excellent.
I didn't stay in the hotel, but the facilities and bars are very nice. Definitely recommend having a cocktail here.
We came over from Ho'Olei to have dinner at Duo and were absolutely blown away! The chateubriand was absolutely it if this world. The service was absolutely first class and made the experience the best dinner if or vacation.
Went to spago, which was a Excellent restaurant. Food and atmosphere were fantastic. The sunset was the real draw. But for the money there are a few other decent places that provide the same amenities.
Spent four nights at this resort on our recent babymoon, and were blown away. Nicest hotel we have ever stayed at.
The staff/service was great. This is clearly what makes an experience truly memorable. We forgot our family photo there and the housekeepers were sure to ship it to us and we did receive it! So appreciative and we will be back soon! Thank you.
A TRUE 5-STAR HOTEL The Four Seasons Maui is a beautiful resort and lives up to the 4S name. Professional and friendly staff, perfectly manicured grounds, spectacular amenities and delicious food are all to be expected at the 4S Maui. Our family loves it here. Great beach, ample pool seatings, short wait times for dining. Very excited to return next year!
Beautiful! The Spa was very nice and massage by the ocean was relaxing.
Amazing experience, staff were extremely accomadating to my pretty strict dietary requirements.
Fantastic service and amenities. Well worth the price.
Exemplary service and attention to detail. Our stay was a memorable, enjoyable, and restful experience. Simply the best.
Had fun at the lobby bar seeing the hula show. Beautiful hotel and space. Food and drinks were a bit over priced for what it is but then again what do you expect in Wailea? The funny part was how proud they are of flying in Dim Sum from Honolulu. Humble delicious Dim Sum, served precious and expensive.
Exceptional service, great food and wine. Pricey but worth it.
Everyone was so accommodating! It was lovely. Will go back
This place is unreal and I can't say enough good things about it. Setting, service, food, facilities - all amazing.
Many new upgrades and modernizations when the most recent renovation was completed. This property was beautiful, but is now amazing. There are a couple pools around for different uses. They have a family pool area and they also have one for adults only. There are multiple restaurants and bars around the property. You are within about a mile walk of the Shops at Wailea. The conference center has beautiful ballrooms and meeting facilities. This definitely has the quality that Four Seasons has been known for.
Another fantastic stay at the Four Seasons Maui. Great location. Outstanding staff. Superb facilities. Best of the Four Seasons properties we have visited. We have visited 11 Four Seasons throughout the world. We keep coming back to the Four Seasons Maui.
Came here to attend a friend's wedding. Workers were very kind and gracious.
Out of this world. Extremely high service levels. Poolside service is amazing. Gotta go back.
We just popped in for lunch and some shopping. It's an open resort. While beautiful it is full of people that may or may not be staying at the hotel. I am not sure it would be worth the money to stay there because of how busy it always is. If you want something quietier I would look at other hotels.
Went for the public beach. Saw a sea turtle, felt pretty special. I'd go again.
The staff is very friendly with loads of personal touches that you won't find elsewhere. The views are of course spectacular as well.
A sensational hotel! Stunning views, relaxed atmosphere and very friendly and courteous service.
Service is phenomenal! Rooms are gorgeous! The view was spectacular! The pool was amazing! Such an amazing stay from valet to the lobby greeter to check in, to bellman. Servers at the restaurants were great recreation went above and beyond. Stephen from bellman Kawika at valet, Travis at front desk, as well as Jerrylyn from pbx provided outstanding service! Made my Maui vacation so smooth! I will definitely be back!
Amazing! Frozen grapes by the pool with gorgeous views, everybody happy happy happy
We visited for our honeymoon and I couldn t imagine myself to be in a more heavenly place. The fountain is the signature of the resort and sunset on the beach is the best way to end your chilled day. The rooms are clean, spacious and have balconies. We never left the resort and we tried all the restaurants, they were all amazing and the staff made our stay even more special than it already was. I would definitely go back for our anniversary.
Was amazing. So comfortable. Maui is great and four seasons in this location is a top notch experience.
After leaving the fantastic four seasons in Kona I wish we would have never came to stay at to the four seasons in maui I've never encountered such tacky guests in my life a multi level marketing group was there called plexis & it was the biggest white trash bash I've ever endured. I can't blame the hotel for the obnoxious guests & there continued "hooting & haulering"
But I must blame the hotel for letting people get away with things like I witnessed today towards harmless animals ...
This is our second or third time at this hotel and we will never come back. A sea turtle well several sea turtles were being continually harassed by guests at this hotel the resort does nothing to protect these animals or the coral they feed off of.
Today I witnessed multiple people touching the turtle and not letting it beach itself to rest. I yelled at them several times then went to get the pool attendant involved he did his best he could and was clearly also upset by their behavior he was limited on what he could do. The hotel should have more signs with clear rules of how close people should be allowed to go they should also rope a section for them to be safe.
They should also contact the authorities when people continue to harass sea life like trying to pick up a sea turtle... It's such a beautiful place but they clearly are not concerned with protecting nature that surrounds them and my entire experience was ruined because they did nothing to protect the largest & most beautiful sea turtle I've ever seen & several younger turtles near by. A simple sign on the beach with rules & someone paying close attention to monitor when they are close to shore isn't too much to ask for.
Extremely disappointing I've never seen a hotel do nothing to protect its beach and the life surrounding it. If you care at all about the environment and if your hoping for a classy hotel do not visit here.
I complained to multiple people & they did nothing to protect the wild animals it was extremely disturbing.
Truly the best Hotel in Wailea! We stayed there with our 5 month old baby and we couldn't ask for a better experience.
We had dinner reservations at Duo. My husband and I and sister in law and brother in law. We sat on the patio, the weather was calm, just right. The lighting was soft. The service was impeccable and the food was the best we've had in a very long time. The salad bar was small but it was still good. There is also a charturie bar which I've never seen before(meat and cheese). We had valet parking which was nice. The price was expensive but not really outrageous. It was an A+ experience.
Beautiful hotel in a picturesque location. The pool is a little small, but the pool service is wonderful.
1/3 Update:
My family and I stayed at this resort in 2017 for one week. I cannot say enough about the service from its staff and the quality of food. Rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Pools and pool staff were exceptional. Everyone was so nice and pleasant....it literally felt like a dream. My only small complaint is that their kids club (for kids under 5 that can t participate in their All Seasons Kids program) is tiny and felt like an afterthought.
Rooms are large and very comfy, top marks for amenities and service.
Was there to attend a wedding. The view was amazing. The outdoor reception had no bugs, and the live music really added to a very memorable experience.
Some of the staff seemed unpleasant or distance, giving a very uncomfortable feeling.
The setting is fantastic and the service and attention to detail of all the team make you feel in paradise. Outstanding in every department.
I ve been going to the four season for 7 years and it is the most amazing place in the island the food is great the rooms are great and all of the people working here are great. I hop you have the same experience that I have going to this wonderful place.
As good as it gets! Open tropical design and very luxurious. Wonderful location, large and well furnished rooms with impressive bathrooms. Spic and span. Excellent but pricey restaurants. Experienced and attentive staff. Hard to find anything better in a hotel. Expensive but so are most of the finer things in life.
This is a beautiful resort.
We only had cocktails at the resort. The servers were very attentive. They initiated small conversations about Hawaii, Maui. Excellent service and cocktails.
