One off the best places to stay on Nevis. Food was amazing rooms where just incredible everything is well take care off. While the prices may be a little higher than some of hotels in the area it worth every single penny. Is definitely one of my favorite places on the island.

Does not get much better than the service and quality of amenities at this location. The Four Seasons Nevis is superb. Although the hotel is currently undergoing upgrades and construction the resort is still amazing.

This four seasons is located in a wonderful setting in Nevis, however it's also one of the worst four seasons that I've stayed it. The real scoop is that this hotel is under bank ownership (Wells Fargo) after the last owners jumped ship when the hotel was severely damaged in a hurricane, and the bank ownership shows. We stayed here for a week with the first portion in a lower season and the second half in the week of thanksgiving.
First issue, and most astonishing, was the change in menu prices on the day the thanksgiving crowd arrived... Gone were the many hot items on the pool menu and in place were cold wraps and easy to assemble items, but the prices increased by about 50%. A hamburger which was around $20 all of a sudden during the holiday week was around 30$.
Second issue, the hotel is run down by four season standards. A few days before we left we noticed the main pool was below it's normal level by over a foot. It was clear that a leak was present and the staff was struggling to get it filled in time for the thanksgiving rush. This is in addition to the chunks, and I mean 2 foot chunks of pool plaster that is missing on the floor in some areas.
Third issue, they really need to solve some of their sewer smell issues around the resort. Ylang ylang trees and flowers can only do so much.

Having said that, for the most part, the staff is top notch and friendly. They remembered your name and are clearly very good at what they do. Far better than any other hotel on the island.

It's staff and location give it 5 stars. It's run down appearance take away the other 2 stars I usually give a four seasons.

I hope this has been helpful.

Beautiful resort! I believe it was recently renovated. Service was amazing as expected. The food at the resort was excellent. And there were a couple of great restaurants (Sunshine's ...serves the famous killer bee) a short walk down the beach.

I had veg pizza with onion and pineapple last evening, as soon as i reached home i experienced very bad diarrhea and i almost felt like i am dying. May be cheese was bad. I could not imagine happening this at Four Seasons.

Beautiful resort on the gorgeous island of Nevis. Elegant, relaxed, everything to make you comfortable and at home. Wonderful food, great bars, and excellent staff who will arrange just about any activity you want. Be sure to seek out Llewelyn, creator of the famous Llewellyn's Nevis Hot Sauce - yes, he is a chef at the grill! We love this place and plan to go back.

It was a true pleasure to enjoy this wonderful resort. I came here on business and enjoyed the staff immensely! The facilities hosted our meetings perfectly. The pictures I posted will support my comments.

When you have booked a trip to the Four Seasons in Nevis, you know exactly what you're going to get...and I mean that in the most positive way possible. If you're looking for pampering, grade A service and breathtaking scenery, this is one of your go-to resorts. From the moment you drive onto the estate, you are treated like royalty and you never have to go looking very far to seek assistance. Every member of staff goes above and beyond to cater to your every whim. The grounds are well-maintained and the details of the aesthetic of the area is meticulously protected. I was also able to enjoy a round of golf at their course which has probably ruined any other course I will play at in the future. Playing golf with monkeys running wild across the course with the backdrop of the volcano was nothing short of incredible and the service from the staff on the course was superb. If you wanted anything, and I mean anything, they would fetch it and bring it to you on the course. Lastly, and this is one of my absolute favorite things to mention, was how some of the staff would dance with guests when music was playing, some even sang with the house band. It was a wonderful change from the usual stuffy atmospheres you get with other hotels and resorts.

What a fantastic place, one of our best holidays ever - our 3.5yo keeps talking about it even 6 month later. We loved the beach and the Ocean View room, the grounds are impeccable and staff always nice and helpful.

What a beautiful little piece of paradise! We spent a week at this beautiful resort. This is out second visit, as our first was in 2003 on our honeymoon. I'm pretty sure they looked up "Dream Vacation", and started drafting out their layout for the resort. It all starts on the boat ride over from the airport on St. Kitts, your vacation starts as you board the boat, and they hand you a rum punch. Suddenly, the rest of the world doesn't matter, life is about you and the beach.

Weather was great while we were here in January, which was warm, but not hot. The service was unparalleled, from the beachside and pool attendants, to the servers at the restaurants, to housekeeping, security, front desk and the groundsmen. The Nevisean people as a whole, are super nice and welcoming.

Their food was delicious, and fairly diverse, which was great for me, as I'm not a fish person. Their chicken wraps were really good, along with their hamburgers and Quaesadillas. Drinks were really good and refreshing--I miss them already.

A number of our days were spent lounging at the beach, or on the pool deck, they have a really great infinity pool. While there is plenty to keep you busy at the resort, you can not leave Nevis without checking out Sunshine's Bar and Grill, which is a 10 minute walk from Four Seasons. Sunshine's signature drink, the Killer Bee, is really refreshing, however watch out, as the name suggests, a few of those will sneak up on you and kick your ass! They are strong! We had a nice visit with Sunshine, who's original location was wiped out by a storm after our first visit. Luckily, he's just a little past where his old location was. Sunshine is one cool dude. Also check out the Green Flash by Sunshine's, they have a cool rooftop bar.

The best restaurant we visited, was a place called Bananas, whose service, ambiance and food completely blew us away. The beachside buffet at Oualie Beach was also good, but Bananas was by far, the best. The waterfall hike up the Volancao, was also fun, and also a pretty good workout. You will get dirty! We also did a day tour of St. Kitts, which was a lot of fun, the military fort at the top of the island has some great views.

Just writing this review, reminds me of how much we miss being here. Hopefully we will be back soon.

We booked our vacation directly through the Four Seasons Resort web site. Three to four weeks prior to our arrival, we received a phone call from the FS that some "emergency work" needed to be done at the property. We questioned what that was exactly and they said it was work "on the beach". We asked many questions at this point such as 1) Will this impact our trip in any way? 2) Will we hear any construction noise? 3) Would we see any construction work going on?

We were told (and I quote), "We have miles of beachfront here. You won't even know it's going on." They made it sound as if, should we walk the entire beach of their property, we would eventually come upon a construction crew. But we wouldn't see it, hear it and it certainly wouldn't impact our stay.

We would have CANCELED immediately had Four Seasons been HONEST with their upcoming guests.

We have complained to 3 employees now and heard nothing but excuses. They have completely ruined our trip. This is not what we paid for, nor what their glossy website promotes. The beautiful private dock photo they have posted on their website- well imagine that with 2 bulldozers and 3 excavators working from sun up to sun down.

The Great Room (reception/check in/breakfast etc) overlooks two beautiful landscaped main pools which are the only pools designated for families to use. The bulldozers and excavators are working right out in front of both pools. All you hear is major construction noise- not the sound of birds chirping or the ocean lapping. It's completely DISHONEST for a hotel to do this to any guest spending thousands of dollars to arrive in what should be paradise.

We have already told them we want to check out. And are looking at trying to find suitable accommodation for our family, which is next to impossible considering this is the only 5 star resort on the island.

Had FS been honest, we would have changed our flights to Antigua and visited the Four Seasons Nevis on our next family vacation. Instead, their selfishness about trying to keep their occupancy full while undergoing construction and their blatant dishonesty has ruined our trip (as well as many other guests).

We spoke to several guests staying here since arriving (nothing bonds strangers than a common problem at a resort). It's the same with everyone: this isn't what FS explained prior to arrival. It's completely soured everyone's experience. Normally, you have to fight for a lounge chair at any resort. But today, every single lounge chair sits empty because the Four Seasons has behaved dishonestly towards the paying guests.

Poor golf course. old beach furniture a 30 year old resort whose owners have spent some money refurbishing but have only applied lipstick on a pig. Unless they upgrade most of the facilities it is more akin to a 3-4 star hotel charging 5 star prices

There were a few items that disappointed us on a recent visit. I received a call from the manager and he is very attentive and showed great concern for my disappointment. They are preparing for a big remodel this June so much will be improved. Great place to get away from it all.

Very lovely resort. A bit one the more expensive side though. And if your not a guest, you have to pay 50$ to be able to use one of their beach beds on the beach or pool for the day. But beautiful and great service regardless!

The hotel itself is beautiful and the villas are spacious, but could definitely use an upgrade. We had trouble with the air conditioning going out, the T.V.freezing at random times because of cable issues, and little ants all over the kitchen counter tops, even without fruit or food being left out.
The most disappointing aspect of this vacation was the service. Not the usually FS experience, for sure. Ordering off the regular menu for breakfast instead of eating their buffet took more than 45 minutes. Their famed Coral Grill restaurant was the worst. The food took over 45 minutes to get, and when it arrived, two of four dishes were cold, and one was overcooked. This resort is at 40% occupancy currently, so it is unclear what the problems for food service have been.
The staff are somewhat unpredictable- some are very nice, others actually hostile. We had a couple of small experiences that culminated in an overall, not-so-great experience.

Everything about this Four Seasons Resort is top notch. The beach, the gorgeous grounds, beautifully landscaped and maintained. Every member of the staff was cheerful and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable. Loved the golf course tour, complete with many monkeys. Service on the beach was superb; ice water, fruit and even tiny pina coladas offered throughout the day.
