Nice location right in the beach, but not too crowded of an area. Can't really beat that.

This was our first visit to Caprice. The rooms and Resort were clean and we enjoyed our stay. This place definitely does not have some of the amenities of some of the other resorts but it was in a good location and we enjoyed our stay.

Clean rooms, nice pool, and a short walk to the beach.

Great location, right on the beach and it has a fence around the back of the property so if you didn't want to go out to the public beach you could still be in the sand. Rooms were nice and clean. It would be nice if there was a hot tub but otherwise really nice place and well maintained.

Nothing compares with this view on the bay at sunset!

We were pleased to find a clean facility, comfortable, well-maintained condo, nice clean pool. The best thing about this place is the mandatory quiet hours from 10pm-8am. Your view of the ocean will depend a great deal on which particular condo you rent, just bear in mind. I would love to come again.

A little noisy, can't see sunset from balcony because of building design.

On our third day of seven and it has been great. Clean, on the beach, and most of what you need for a stay.

We spent Thanksgiving week at Caprice and it was perfect. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. The views were perfect and parking was an added bonus. Hope to come back!

Someone took our room key from the lock box after hours. Still not sure wh at happened. We were placed in different rooms for the evening to accommodate our group, they comped us a night and got us our original room, cleaned the next day!

Very exclusive. Lacking in the hospitality department. Good views of the water and sunset. A lot of privacy. Overall pretty good.

We were able to check into our room earlier than expected so the kids were able to hit the beach right away. The office staff was friendly and even helped us retrieve our keys after they accidentally got thrown away by our son. The pool was great and our boys spent a ton of time there. Great location! Our toilet did break twice while we were there but they maintenance staff fixed it both times within 24hrs. Coming back next year!

Like the small atmosphere. Rooms were decent but we thought we reserved a 2 bedroom but we had a one bedroom

Very disappointed. My husband, mother and I stayed at the Caprice Resort last September. After two nights of a planned 5 night stay we were evacuated due to the impending Hurricane. The management guaranteed that I would be reimbursed for the days that I had paid for. Of course I understand that they bear no responsibility for the hurricane but the least they could do is return my numerous phone calls I've made over the past 6 months regarding my reimbursement. I booked the reservation through Expedia and even bought the insurance. Expedia finally informed me this morning that the Caprice Resort refuses to reimburse me for the 4 nights that I paid for and was not able stay even though they told me at the time that I would be fully reimbursed for the 4 nights.

The Caprice is beautiful. It's quiet and relaxing. The beach in front of the Caprice is toward the end of the beach, so it's a little secluded, almost like a private beach.... It's away from the hotels, so the beach is no where near as More

We stayed in the Caprice Resort for a week from the 5 May 17. The apartment block is very well situated, right on the beach with great views and within walking distance of bars and restaurants. The pool area is well maintained with good facilities. The BBQ and deck is a lovely place to watch the sunset. It seems that a lot of the guests holiday there regularly and therefore know each other well making for a convivial atmosphere

Just be aware that the apartments are privately owned and maintained to different standards. Some have been updated and modernised but the one that we stayed in was tired and old and this cannot be detected from the internet pictures. All seem to be charged at the same price however so be careful to enquire with the management company as to what you are getting.

Great place and view but no fresh towels or extra TP provided wash and buy yourself

We've stayed here every year for many years. You won't find a better condo experience in St Pete. Great rates, awesome views, beautiful private beach area, pool is very nice, all the units are updated and comfortable, the staff is great and it's a very quiet and relaxing experience.

Great location. 4 stars because elevator was out for 2 days. We were on 3rd floor.

Mother and her wedding party stayed at this great resort. Whoever built it could have considered more staircases and a layout that makes sense but hey it was nice to visit for the views, clean rooms, ocean and pool. Right next to Rick's Reef which is a great place to eat, drink and mingle.

Very disappointed We got the insurance just in case something were to happen as my mother was sick and we were trying to get to seeing her sister once last time but I canceled insurance too soon and now can t get my almost 900.00 back.... my mother passed away and the insurance people aren t helping at all.... don t ever ever cancel insurance until like 24 hours before you are scheduled to go!!!! Insurance is a dang JOKE!!!!!! Very very disappointed and upset!!!!

People are uneducated who are running the place I put a deposit down which I was supposed to get back in return to me it's going on 3 weeks now still receive my deposit and the room was checked out as no damages and it looked better than I got there you'd be better off staying at a Holiday Inn

Beautiful sea view, comfortable condo, clean and everything you need is at hand

Fantastic sea views. Quiet and we'll kept property. Each room is privately owned and decorated to owners taste.

Our room was nice. The community is very friendly. The resort has a pool and a lawn before you get to the beach. The quiet hours are great and create a peaceful atmosphere. You can hear the waves coming in.

Kept $25.00 for a "fully refundable" room. When you click on the site it states "Fully refundable" click on terms it states "fully refundable 4 weeks in advance" When I wrote to them stating we cancelled prior to 4 weeks in advance they stated read the Fine Print which was 3 pages down on the online form stating they "may keep a service fee in the event of an cancelation" and that they were going to keep it. The most outrageous part of all of this is, it said "no advance payments, pay at time of arrival" yet also took 30% immediately. AVOID them at all costs they are ripe off artists!!!!

Our room was nicely updated and quite comfortable. The staff is AMAZING and very responsive. The location is topnotch and beautiful. The one issue we had was that the pool area was extremely loud all day long and could be heard in our room as if we were outside. That was a major downfall if you are looking for a quiet place to relax. Book a higher floor!All in all,a lovely little place.

The staff here is so friendly and the food and drink is over the top. The room has an excellent view of the ocean and pool. We will definitely be interested in returning again.

Nice resort, right on the beach. Couple of things to know before you go: It's not really a resort, rather managed condos. So you do not have room service, 24*7 office, room cleaning during the stay etc. And depending on your luck you may get rooms with blocked views of the sea from both sides.Some rooms had wide open views but our unfortunately had blocked views from both sides. Since we reached after hours office was not open to complain and ask for changing rooms. Also the place is immaculately cleaned and maintained but it is quite old.

Excellent! ! The office assistant manager Leann was great! She explained everything very professionally. The stay was very nice & the Condo #205 was very clean & updated. We will be back.

Wonderful Condo love it the staff is awesome! !!!!!

This was a perfect accommodation for our family of 5 (with 2 toddlers that need naptime). It's right on the beach. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment style room about 700 to 800 sq feet with a small, but full kitchen (including stove with oven, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker) dining area and living room. Sufficient number of towels provided with washer and dryer on site to use ($2.00 per small load). There is a trash chute as well. Nice little fenced in grassy area with grills to use and picnic tables. Small heated pool, but great beach access which is what we were here for. Walking distance from Jimmy B's beach bar and others. We were able to hire a nanny service from a local company for an adult night out (nannieswhocare.com). Good price for what we needed. Being able to stock up on food to cook that the kids will actually eat saved us money for sure. We'll never do a vacation in a regular hotel room again!

We were here over a long weekend for a wedding and wanted a condo instead of just a hotel room. This place definitely delivered. The views were wonderful looking out towards the beach and gulf and the unit was very clean and well stocked. There really is nothing negative I can find about this location.

The rooms and the building are a bit tired, but the location is good. If you are expecting luxury you will be disappointed. If you are expecting a dump, you will be positively surprised. A solid, if uninspired, rental.

Nice condos on the Gulf of Mexico. Great water views. Reasonable prices.

Nice apartment style layout, pool is nice but small, great beach access and view, convenient location, grounds well maintained. RECOMMENDED!

This was our 6th year coming to the Caprice and for good reason. The rooms are great, as is the staff and other guests we have met over the years also there are many wonderful restaurants in the area our favorite is 1200 Chophouse and a little farther away is the Island Grill in Tierra Verde . It was nice, clean. Parking was weird. No washer/dryers. Close to beach. Decent pool. We liked it okay. I would use it again.

It is a great place to vacation with the family in the apartment with a spectacular view towards the beach. Attendance at the reception is very good, its facilities in a magnificent state.recomiendo 100%

Nice place on the beach. Not to crowded and not that many kids like other places on the beaches

As you can see in the pictures, we had issues. Both bathroom exhaust fans were clogged. Neither set of sliding doors would close all the way. Having said that, we were there during the hurricane. The carpeting around the sliding doors was sopping wet. When you walked on it the water came up over our feet. Water also came in under the windows in both bedrooms. We had to move the furniture and unplug what was on the wall where the windows were. Because the sliders wouldn't close, they shook and rattled. We could not sleep in the bedroom with 2 beds because of the wind, rattling doors, and water coming in the slider. Wind and noise are to be expected with a hurricane, but the sliders wouldn't close. We called the property manager and were told it was because of the hurricane. The hurricane didn't prevent the sliders from closing, they didn't close because they are old. The hurricane passed through on Wednesday evening, maintenance came on Friday. He worked on the slider doors, removed the screens, cleaned the tracks, and finally got them to close. He brought a garbage bag of towels so we could continue to sop up the water from the carpet. It was still wet when we checked out on Saturday. He was very apologetic, this was not his fault. There was mold on the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. Rust in the bathroom sink. Oh, we also had to bring all of the balcony furniture in the small living room because of the hurricane. This unit could be so much nicer. It needs painted and updated. The pool was great. The beach was beautiful. We did ask the property manager if there was any adjustment that could be made due to the soaked carpet, noise from rattling sliders, wind coming in the bedroom to the point we couldn't sleep in there. We were told no, nothing. Not even a discount if we decided to return there, which we will not be. We stayed in unit 501. I almost forgot, there were no batteries in the clock on the wall. 4 lightbulbs were burnt out. The refrigerator leaked (we had paper towels in front of it). It's a shame, this place could be so much nicer.
