RE: Damage Done to Vehicle as Result of Valet Parking

I am writing to convey the damage I believe I received to my 2000 Ford Windstar at your establishment.

My name is Patricia Merritt, and I was a guest of a friend during a Four Seasons Spa appointment on or around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013.

I had my van valet parked and received the ticket # 13734. When I surrendered my keys to the valet, my van was operable and in good condition.

About four hours after my appointment, I drove away from the Four Seasons not realizing the damage that had been done. When I got home to park the vehicle, I discovered some problems.

The tachometer (RPM) needle has been broken off by over revving. My transmission shaft quadrant indicator now jams against the broken off tachometer needle, not allowing the transmission to be placed in park properly.

I spoke with Valet Manager Ardit Baliko on Saturday night, and Mr. Baliko said he would investigate the problems. He called on Sunday to say his probe yielded no proof to my claims, and that there was nothing the hotel could do because I had left the property.
My mechanic assessed the van and said the malfunction could only be the result the engine being over revved. I maintain that I handed over an operable vehicle to valet services and have never had a problem with my RPM needle prior.

I am asking Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts to reimburse me for repairs and damage done to my vehicle.

I am telling everyone in my network to be aware of valet parking at the Four Seasons Hotel, especially if you are not driving a luxury car, and it is an older model.

Sincerely,
Patricia Merritt p.s. The staff and services at the Four Seasons Hotel Spa were stupendous.

Avoid this pretentious motel grade housing. Restaurant is sub par ! Recommend the Ritz I Clayton. Now they will put on the Ritz. Four Seasons St. Louis is an amateur run sub par hotel.

The staff at the Four Seasons is incredible. We went for a spa getaway for my birthday and there was a slight mishap with scheduling at the spa. The spa staff was upfront and honest about the mistake and worked diligently to make sure we still enjoyed our experience, which we did! The staff at the spa was only the beginning of a wonderful experience. Cinder House was incredibly accommodating to my food allergy. We were well taken care of throughout our entire stay and will definitely be back!!!!

The staff was most gracious and helpful when i mentioned that i could not eat the luncheon that was prepared for our group due to food allergies. They prepared a sandwich just for me! Very kind. Great good and beautiful surroundings.

View from the roof is awe-inspiring, the hand-crafted cocktails are unbelievable. We did the tour of Italy; first course was amazing, but well started noticing starting at the second course that the sauces and pastas were extremely salty. The proteins were excellent, however, and we've still enjoyed ourselves.

Great location. Easy walk to the arch and to downtown. It is also adjacent to a casino. The arch view from the room is also incredible. Friendly staff. Everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel is here.

I was not impressed with this hotel at all. We checked in and while fire alarms were going off and the staff was unable to give us any direction. This continued for about 15 minutes. Next, I get to my room and the thermostat will not cause the room tempature to go up. I froze most of the night. Additionally, we turned back our sheets to find left over hair in the sheets. Finally I want to add that the room needed remodeled badly. Paint was chipped on the wall and toilet seat had a small chip too. Not what I would expect for a four seasons and the price I paid.

I have been stay there for the last 3 week in a row

The Hotel an Staff is the best I have ever see anywere in the world for my 21 yrs of being a road warrior.

Hats of to every one there.... they get my 1000% approval rate and all i can say is it is a PRICELESS EXPERIENCE!

The staff was wonderful here. I had a massage and spa lunch day when I was visiting here for first time. Tea connoisseurs are going to love Four Seasons spa tea. There is no comparison. I had a fruit plate for my spa day. I'm allergic to strawberries but good ones were served here. A massage was overdue for me as part of my monthly maintenance to keep a healthy lymph system. The view was serene with a river which I hope will have cleaner water someday. Expect to spend $100 for lunch, spa and tip. They also have room views that overlook the arch.

From the valet parking to the wonderful reception we attended, everything was perfect. The employees were extremely personable and we were treated like royalty. Classy place. Beautiful view from the restaurant bar with outside Terrance .

Five stars for the hotel, great and very clean, I did not visit the spa or the restaurant but I'm sure there great too. The only thing I'll say is when upscale places make you go through a process to purchase Internet (wifi) access it is extremely annoying, just charge a few more dollars for the room and make it readily available! You can walk in fast food joints and have immediate access... Come on guys.

Really great hotel. First off the place is really aesthetic. From the reception to the pool to the room to every space in the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful on several occasions and made us feel really special. Great experience.

This is a fine hotel. Great view! The hallways smell amazing, the rooms are modern and nice. They take care of all the small things like slippers and bath robes. Great gym Not going to give star because I expected a few things from a five star hotel. 1 there are only two elevators. 2. The food options are awful

Absolutely wonderful - we are driving across the country with two pets and not only was the hotel beautiful and our room had an incredible view of the arch, but they set out a doggie bed, bowls and treats for our little guys!!

The hotel is very nice and sweet and kind I love the Bold I love to gamble that's the reason I go on now to have fun to escape life to enjoy just live it to the fullest I would recommend my friends and family.

Top of the line.

Top of the line.

Me and my entourage of 4 decided to have an overnight stay to get the kids out the house and from the moment we checked in it was awesome.

They check your temp when you come in to ensure safety. All staff and guests had on masks in common areas. Keys are needed to get to any floor which was an added safety measure. I was sad I couldn t get a day pass to the spa but with today's current climate I understood.

Upon arriving into our room the kids had a note with a treat waiting on them at the restaurant downstairs. We had cookies put in the room for arrival and they were delicious.

We were able to enjoy the pool alone and the server at the pool was beyond amazing tending to our every need and so kind. The wings - yes Lord. The coconut ranch - my God Superb.

Overall the accommodations were amazing. We enjoyed the communication via text in the four seasons app. It made things convenient. Breakfast in bed for the kids was a hit and even though there was a hiccup in our order, the staff did everything to make it right plus some.

With our unwillingness at this time to travel as we normally do, this was a God send for a resort style experience.

Well done.

Went to Cinder House for lunch, waited for 10 minutes at our table after being seated with no service at all, not even a glass of water. Needless to say, I won't be back, and would not recommend it to anyone.
