As another reviewer stated, they do not use liners in the trashcans, which is disgusting and unsanitary. Vomit, snot, old food, we can only imagine all of the nastiness caked onto the sides of the waste baskets. Otherwise, this would be a 3 star review. The pool was nice and the beds decent enough. Other parts of the hotel are showing obvious neglect and ok. A little investment in maintenance and methods could bring this place up to 4 stars.

This hotel is a typical small city hotel catering to vacationers, thru traffic from I-10 and corporate business travelers. My family was here because a loved one was emergently transported to here for a medical issue. The uncertainty of their status caused us to only check in a day ay a time. Each day, we've had a different room. The last two have been on an upper floor...the view is nice...but the bath water on the upper floors is cold! When the desk was called re: the issue, we were told to "run the water for 15 mins or so. The hot water should reach you by then". Wouldn't recommend it unless you ask when booking if the hot water issue has been resolved.

I would like to start by saying the hotel staff was amazing. They met our needs and went above and beyond. With that said you can tell this is an older hotel, and I would assume it was at one point a very nice 4 star hotel. The hotel is dated, and the rooms are slightly smaller than I expected. From the outside it looks good, but halls, carpet rooms etc. all show it's age. Based on its looks, I would class this hotel at 2.5 stars it is far from a 4 star hotel.

The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant and bar are very nice and well populated by hotel guests. The pool and hot tub are a lot of fun to spend time in and there are even musical events out there once in a while! The staff have always been friendly and helpful. I have stayed here about 10 times and have never been disappointed. I must say though that the quality of the rooms can vary. Often they are really nice with everything functioning. But once I was in a room with a lot of wear and tear including the painting on the wall being broken. Another time, the soap dispenser in the shower was broken to pieces! Another strange thing is that some rooms have mini fridges and some don't! And they can't guarantee you will get one. Please put one in every room! That would make you the perfect hotel! Especially with a microwave.

Hotel is nice and the rooms have been recently renovated. I did find the lower floors to be loud, made it tough to sleep. Location leaves something to be desired, it's a block away from a greyhound station. Neither of those are the fault of the hotel really, just inconveniences.

We chose to stay here because or original hotel was overbooked and had no rooms available. We were a walk in and they had a room ready immediately and allowed us to check in without a reservation. Location is nice too. It was on a corner so you could leave from two different roads allowing you to make left turns with ease.

We went to a professional conference at the Four Points. Everything was fine, except for the room and building temperature, which were very cold. The room temperature was adjusted after lunch time.

The staff was friendly at check in and check out. The rooms were clean. I only have two complaints and is the father pillows as well as no frig. The breakfast was ok, not great. The powdered eggs were not very good, but the bacon was. It was nice to not just have sausage as a choice. Shay was our server and she was fantastic. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.

Ok hotel. The parking lot is about 250 ft away from the lobby, not a big deal except that they don t offer valet service, you park, go to the lobby to check in and then you have to go back to your car to put a parking permit on the dashboard. Not cool

Nice hotel I was on the 3rd floor which was still pretty close to the road so there was noise from that. The room looked nice and bathroom was clean. Floors were dirty and the bed was hard. Hotel breakfast wasn't bad $12 for essentially continental breakfast. Out of the 3 hotels I was recommended this was the most expensive so I had slightly higher expectations.

Rooms are always super clean. Concierge is friendly & very accommodating. Have stayed here at least 15+ times over the past year as I'm traveling to Tallahassee at least once a month. Always a great stay.

Skinny room as you enter and a widening as you move further toward the windows, this Four Points by Sheraton Tallahassee was a pleasant stay.

In Tallahassee for the Florida legislative session, I spent five days here after booking on a popular online discount service. Total price - including tax - was about $65.00 a day. With free parking and downtown shuttle service, you can't beat this price.

Driving from Vero Beach to Tallahassee, I arrived several hours before expected and wondered whether "early check-in" was available. Walking into the Four Points at about 11:55 a.m. I was greeted by desk clerk Cashata. Polite and quick to locate my reservation, I was surprised to be accommodated and allowed to check in early. Most hotels won't allow you to check in until after 3 p.m. but not this particular place.

Room 206 for the week it was. Interesting room design and a decent view of downtown Tallahassee. When checking in, I had requested a higher level room, but was advised that one wasn't available. Who am I to complain, though? Had I arrived after 3 p.m. maybe this request would have been accommodated, but I was here before most people checked out from the day before.

Hot water from the shower and plenty of sundry items available. Free bottled water and high speed WiFi were certainly a plus. Most places charge for bottled water, but a strategically placed sign told guests to help themselves - the water was free. In room coffee service if you're inclined to try the hotel blend. I usually don't, but its available.

A pool, gym and work out facilities on the bottom floor appeared clean and well attended. I didn't have an opportunity to use them, but did pass them several times while ducking out the back door and a shortcut to parking. Nighttime security is a plus for the parking lot.

In addition to Cashata, I had the opportunity to speak with desk clerk Paivia on several occasions. Paivia was helpful in providing several clothing store suggestions when I needed to purchase some business shirts. In my quest to pack before leaving Vero Beach, I grabbed a stack of shirts from the dry cleaning stack at home. It wasn't until I arrived in Tallahassee that I realized the shirts belonged to my 7 year-old son. Oops!

Breakfast is provided for an additional fee and a bar happy hour is available from 4 - 7 p.m. I took advantage of both on one occasion each and had a decent experience.

Did I mention bicycle rentals? Bike rentals are available should you wish to cruise downtown Tallahassee on your own.

Free shuttle service was a plus and I took advantage of it twice to the Capitol Building. Pleasant gentleman driver and a quick ride to Florida's seat of government. I was provided a business card to call the hotel for a return ride, but opted to walk as it wasn't far.

A 4-star plus hotel is a 5-star experience when "service" comes into play. Early check-in and late check-out are a plus. Helpful shopping suggestions and very pleasant staff are clearly worth the extra star.

I'm speaking for myself and speaking from this particular experience. A great and very inexpensive stay at the Four Points by Sheraton in downtown Tallahassee.

I've stayed here a couple times and the desk staff has always been helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished, with modern styling-- seem relatively recently renovated. The breakfast food and service are pretty good also. A good option for a run is to head east, then south, and do laps around Cascades Park.

Idk his name but the man was awesome!! I was riding the greyhound and broke my ear buds earlier in the day. I was walking around looking for a store close by to purchase a cheap pair, and wondered into the Sheraton to see if the gift shop sold any!! One of the gentleman at the desk asked, "are you checking in"? I replied, " I just wanna see if y'all have some cheap ear buds in the gift shop!"....
He then opened a drawer and said, "here you are"! I asked him,
"how much do I owe you?".......
He replied, "no worries....enjoy and have a nice trip!"

We lived on the tenth floor. It had a nice view a nice pool and outside area etc. The breakfast was a bit lacking but other than that, it had everything you would expect from a higher range hotel

The room was clean and location to campus is great. We were there for a football game and the shuttle to campus was convenient. However sleeping was tough with all the noise. We could hear the people in the bar since our room was on the second floor directly over it, and the street noise was pretty constant. Also there was a lot of noise from other guests yelling and slamming doors. I get that football weekend can be rowdy, but this went on almost all night.

The staff was great - from Casey at the front desk to Tim the shuttle driver to Alexis in the restaurant - everyone strives to make your day! Only complaint would be that the rooms are a little small, but they do have options i believe

the building and the lobby or nice however the rooms leave a bit to be desired. There's no refrigerator or microwave and there's quite a bit of rust in the bathroom. The tub was smaller than usual and the mattress was spongy and old.

4 Points by Sheraton Tallahassee is awesome. The front desk staff has been great about giving us directions, telling us if it's walking distance & calling their shuttle if not. Breakfast buffet has been great. It's been a wonderful experience.

Hotel is refurbished and very nice, modern and clean, breakfast for $10 is average.
Room had great TV comfy bed and nice shower.
Location to FSU is great.
Problem is I booked on Priceline and they said that Priceline and Hotwire customers had to put up a $200 security deposit on checkin. I have never had to put up more than $50 and in many hotels we put up nothing.
I complained and it took about ten minutes for them to agree to $50 which is standard.
So before you book this hotel be prepared for the security deposit.

This is a terrible hotel. Do not stay here. They charged full amenity prices without offering full amenities. No restaurant. No pool. No ice machines. None of this mentioned up front. Heavy construction. Light fixtures that don't work. This hotel was booked for my birthday and I just want to cry. My husband booked bc we stayed here 8 yrs ago when we were dating. We are so completely disappointed. I will never stay here again. Ever. Even the mini fridge in the room was dirty and filled with water. The room wasn't ready for our 3pm check in. This is the kind of place that you recommend to people you don't like. NEVER. AGAIN. I'd rather just stay home.

The staff was amazing and nice. The rooms were beautiful! They had a fitness center 24 hours. No mini fridge in the room, and breakfast was very expensive. Other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms were not cleaned we did let manager know and they gave us a new room but that room had the same problem not clean the bed skirts were dirty and so was the tubs in the bathroom and little black bugs were crawling on some of the towels the staff in the cafe were rude and not very customer friendly the by far has been one of my worst stays every the room did not have the same services in the first room had no mini fridge and microwave but the second room the same but did have both mini fridge and microwave

Great customer service but the outside can use some landscaping but I can stay here again. The have a restaurant and a bar and it's close to FAMU and FSU so you can't go wrong at the 4 Points

This place was disgusting and I'll never stay here again! I'm going to start with the pro's - early check in. I stayed here recently for a family reunion which is the only reason I did to interact with the rest of the family from out of town. I was able to check-in in the morning which was great because we had an event scheduled for the afternoon. Also we were able to eat with the rest of the family with the buffet similar to Golden Corral. After that everything pretty much went down hill. The room appeared clean until you actually stayed in it. I've never seen a bathroom with so much rust EVERYWHERE! The drains, shower rod, toilet holder and I believe they advertised that they recently renovated. The tub had dirty foot marks in it that even my sister who was in a different room wouldn't take a bath in it. The first day the floor was so dirty like no one swept but the 2nd day the housekeeping person came in and swept - which I only knew bc she left the broom in my freaking room. I went to move the curtain to close it once I came back to the hotel and there were bugs that I had to kill and kinda freaked out because I thought they were bed bugs...they still could've been but I didn't see any in the bed so I didn't ask for a new room bc I was barely in it. 2 nights and $290 later I wish I would've stayed at a different hotel. This one may have been worst than the Four Points Sheraton Orlando I had to stay in due to Hurricane Irma and limited options.

Second time I've stayed here. Easy check in/out. Customer service has always been top notch. Rooms are fairly modern and comfortable. Bar/restaurant is very nice considering which makes it that much better so you don't have to leave the grounds! Will stay again while in town!
