Four Points by Sheraton Tallahassee Downtown Reviews

I attended an event at Four Points and enjoyed it so well I decided to host my organization's yearly banquets there. The staff is very helpful and professional.

Good hotel, clean rooms. The only con: the doors to each room are VERY loud when closing. I'm a heavy sleeper and this kept waking me up throughout the night. They should consider changing hinges, springs...something, to quiet things down.

We stayed at this house twice on our Florida trip. The first time everything was excellent, the second time the cleanliness left something to be desired. The staff is (on average very young and probably a bit inexperienced) absolutely correct and friendly.

I had a nice stay at the hotel and very much enjoyed my view of the city from my room.

Staff was very pleasant. Booked through their online website and prepaid for a King bed. When we got there our room was already given away and we were given a smaller room. The receptionist was very nice, so even though we were disappointed, we were not mad at the staff. I just didnt like that I prepaid for a room through their website and it was not held for me. The views from the rooms are nice. The tub was old and dirty. Clean toilet and sinks. Sheets were questionable. Breakfast buffet was actually delicious.

The pressure balance valve did not operate the shower, the tub spout had a ring of calcium deposits. Goes to show you how well the staff cleans . Toilet barely flushed, had to lift the toilet tank lid to flush toilet. All that a guest wants is a working, clean bathroom. All that the polite front desk staff said was, will contact the 3Rd party that you used to book the room . Zero responsibility by hotels when you book through a booking site. Room was cheap at 105.00 per night, but at that rate I expect running water.

Disorganized. We arrived at 8pm after driving for 7 hours and just wanted to lie down. Unfortunately room was not ready. How, havnt no idea. The hotel it self is nice but the services was sub par.

Always love my stay here. Comfortable, clean and hardly ever a wait on the elevator. The free shuttle service is that extra mile of customer service. Finally, every person I've dealt with here has been outstanding!

Decent, but nothing special. Would have been nice to have a mini-fridge in room.

The front desk clerk wasn't very welcoming. It seemed as if she was simply going through the motion and really didn't care. Then she's one of those people that throws your items on the desk and not hand it back to you as you did them. Just rude. The room could be upgraded. Especially with new carpet and furniture. The carpet was riddled with stains and the furniture looks old and chipped. The room also smelled like mildew. I wouldn't stay here again. Would rather pay for parking at the Aloft up the street.

This is a nice, well maintained property with a friendly staff Unlike most other downtown properties, this one has free self-parking. The rooms are on the small side but are comfortable and have no refrigerator or microwave. I believe that each floor has it's own ice machine, which is convenient. The gym is decent, but the treadmills are a little bit dated. There are no televisions and there is no music. They have several exercise balls and a handful of dumbbells. I did not make it to the pool or restaurant.

The check in was horrible with the staff we get here and they say to drive around when it was after 4 pm and they would call us when it was done, thank god my husband said no and a manager did help and get us in a room but just read it was bad bad bad We stayed here and the chair and sofa had stains all over them. The bed is so uncomfortable and in middle of the bed u have where a person last was so yes the bed has an indent of a big body. The coffee cups in the room were not with plastic on the cups and yes I needed that cause the room which was a suite was dirty and uncomfortable from bed to chair to sofa with all the stains and so on. I have stayed At the holiday inn in Tallahassee and it is a way better way cleaner and way nicer than the Sheridan is I will never ever stay here again.

Cute hotel with floor to ceiling windows! Had a great view. Only stayed one night and it was lovely.

Bad parking lot! We had two separate rooms: Rooms/bathrooms could use some repairs and were pretty small. The staff was friendly but that was the best part of the stay. Ran out of hot water in the shower around 8:30pm. The breakfast was good. Walked out to my truck the next morning and someone had smashed the window out and stolen some contents. The police officer that came said they had several break-ins in the area recently. No cameras for the parking lot and it s positioned in a way that isn t easily overviewed, so makes it an easy target. Won t be staying there again.

Updated, clean, friendly staff at a reasonable price... excellent location to FSU.

Great service. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were wonderful.

Sheets, pillows and mattresses were well worn and not comfortable as a result. Luckily I only needed one of the two beds in my room and was able to piece enough stuff together for one . The Wi-Fi was pretty much unusable. The check in was easy and staff was nice.

So I'm African American and Iost my key at the pool and she cancel my card. And had me wait for my roommate to give us new keys to get in my room. That is racial discrimination. She feared that I was lieing to her to get in a room to sleep for a night. I am a hardworking man who works for what he has each day and night. And that was uncalled for!

The rooms were clean and had enough. It was nothing special but they get the job done with a little more. Has nice lobby and is really close to the school

Very disappointed, nothing there is up to expectations of a Sheraton Hotel and even more so, since they are becoming a Marriott property. Will not stay there again.

Beautiful, modern, updated, clean. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

I'll start with the good.... the customer service is outstanding. The bad... literally everything else. First impression of the room was below average. I walked in and it immediately felt dirty. I didn't get that clean, homely feeling you should receive when you first get to your room. The bed seemed thrown together last minute. The bathroom could all around be much cleaner. The drain in the bath was clogged. The alarm on the room clock was pre-set to 0345 for some ungodly reason..so I'm sure you could imagine my frustration there. The room walls are incredibly thin. I could hear everytime someone closed their door on my floor and these doors are not light at all. Your door will FOR SURE close so I guess thats another positive about this place. For the finale, the breakfast buffet... not only is the food disgusting but particularly low quality . Every single plate I picked up was dirty and had food remains stuck on it. The selection was the normal choices but still not done well. There were spoons laid in the fruit yogurt trays and other foods. Nothing was ever "fresh". By that, I mean fresh and better than before not just new and hot. The coffee and even the OJ was gross.. I'm not even sure how that was messed up. I will never stay here again if I decide visit Tallahassee in the future. Spend another 10 bucks and stay elsewhere.

Nice hotel with good and helpful staff. But rooms are a little worn out as well as other signs of Hotel being on the older side. Good location.

Scott, the bartender, at Four Points was AMAZING! We spent most of the day cruisin by the pool, and he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, even when it was busy inside.

Conference rooms were fine for what we needed. The staff kept the water containers full in a timely manor. The restrooms were clean. Staff was friendly.

Went there during hurricane Irma and hotel handled the situation calmly and with professionalism. Would stay there again.

Conveniently located in Tallahassee and cozy layout of room

The room was your average hotel room. It didn't seem very clean. There was an old sock that I found on the chair when I arrived and some of the towels had stains on them. The variety carpet also seemed old and dingy. However, I have come to accept the fact that hotels are going to have a "dirty" factor associated with them.

The bed was comfortable and the a/c was cool enough for me. Even though my room was located right off of the elevator it was still quiet. It was sufficient enough for a 1 night stay.

Not a good experience. I knew someone who was having a party here and they party got shut only after hour and half staff came up and said another guest was complaining of loud noise we weren't even loud. Long story short the party got shut only after an hour and a half. The party was in the presidential room wow you pay for the best room for your birthday party only for the staff to complain... I guess they just steal money here BOOK you the best room and if you can't have a party they should let you know that before they steal your money when booking the room.. never again!!! I will be contacting corporate!!

Could be a 4 Star hotel with a little more attention to details.

Nice facility, soft bed, decent room excellent value.

Outdated room. Chemical smell in room. I guess I'm really spoiled with Hyatt properties. Service was good. TV options great.

Room was okay, was short on help and room wasn't as clean. Service was good and quick to correct the problem

Stayed here 2/19/20. Very moldy smell. Dirty washcloth in the bath. Dated plumbing with peeling caulk. No fridge. Nice view and Tesla charger are about it for positives. You could do better for $200/nt.

Good hotel close to Florida State University. The building has been refurbished and the rooms have been updated.

So far the service has been great. The pool is nice and the hot tub is great after a long day. The staff are all nice and friendly.

Room was not cleaned at check in there was blood on the sheets All amenities where closed hotel was under construction not worth the money stay somewhere else

Unique building design makes for an interesting stay, and the pool and restaurant were lovely!

I have both Corporately stayed at Four Points by Sheraton and attended private parties there. It is a beautiful place to stay. My room and the service were well done. The service, location, (right smack on the edge of Florida State university's campus), and view from my room made it a memorable experience even on a corporate trip. Their staff are both genuinely caring and engaging. I left feeling well cared for. I know that sounds bogus but I have a few special needs and that was part of every concern they took care of for me. I would recommend them anytime and prefer them Everytime. The reason 4 instead of 5 stars is food. The meals I've eaten there have been a little less stellar than the over all ambiance. Still in all they are a wonderful place to stay.

The hotel has really nicely renovated rooms! Everything is pristine and clean! The prices are really affordable and the guest service was great! I loved the food that was provided for breakfast and I just felt so at home and taken care of the entire stay! I will definitely be staying again.

The room was very nice but it didn't have a mini fridge or a microwave. They do have electric car chargers in the parking lot.
