Great beer and nice atmosphere. If you like the sour brews - try the Mango Hibiscus Kissing Giants

The beer selection is great! It's a rare thing for a small brewery to land on a strong consistent palette of flavors, and Proof has nailed it. The prices are low (5 or 6 dollars). They sell hot dogs on the lawn, and food trucks are often parked around railroad square, so check the event schedule or call ahead!

Aside from a bad parking set up, it's cool. Great view of the brewing from the bar.

An outsider with no bias...IPA's are better than Grassland. However, it seems Florida hasn't jumped on the high quality IPA scene as both were sub-par in my book.

This place has a great vibe and you can definitely tell the locals love it!

Amazing outdoor beer garden and beautiful tasting room. 20 taps with great service and knowledgeable bartenders. Family friendly, including the four legged kind. They also have outdoor games including bocce ball, corn hole, and ping pong.

This place is a secret new jewel. You think youve seen the entire place then keep walking and find rooms and more rooms and more rooms. And the drinks are always great!

The original PROOF! Very cozy location, but has a great beer variety! Be sure to try their "850" beer. Oh, and if you have some spare time, don't miss out in visiting their actual brewery at rail road square.

GREAT beer. Local place. Watched it grow up from just a little bar on Tennessee street. They have a okay variety. Sometimes it seems like they have just the same four beers, and then a selection of sweet-tasting limiteds, brewed with fruit/chocolate/coffee. Where are just the straight porters, stouts, sours?! Nonetheless, great place, family atmosphere, lots of events. Go.

I'm giving one star because their policy is ridiculous, if you're an adult age: 18-20 you can't enter unless you're with someone who's 21 or older. Yet they will let toddlers inside with their parents. If I'm a adult I'm responsible for my actions and should be able to enter a establishment regardless If they serve alchohol or not. I will change this review if Proof Brewery changes their policy.

Edit: Proof Brewery, you still fail to realize how unjust your policy is. You serve food at your establishment therefore, I could have eaten at your establishment various times by now(which would have been legal). However, your policy will not allow me to enter your establishment without a parent even though I am a independent adult. Yet, your establishment will allow little children in with a parent. Sense your establishment is family friendly and serves items that are non alcoholic it should be legal for an adult under 21 to enter the establishment. Your policy and customer service is the reason why I am rating you so poorly, if you would edit your policy, this issue would resolve.

Excellent beer and beer garden that is a great place to relax with a cold one and some friends. Friendly and welcoming staff. Love coming to hangout here!

Stellar crew here at Proof, beyond being a local favorite for beer, during a recent environmental disaster (Hurricane Irma) these guys opened their water tanks to the public for free. Next time I need a beer I know where I'm going, keep up the good work guys.

Parking is a bit tough but it's an awesome space with plenty to drink and eat! Plus locally made desserts!

Usually go every now and then on a Friday night but went for the Tap invitational. Had a great time tried lots of new beers. Lines were short and everyone was nice.

Great local beers, good service, the setting is session with indoor and outdoor seating, very clean and comfortable.

We always feel so welcome and comfortable here, it's such a great environment and the staff is so nice. I had the Philly cheese steak today which was delicious, not traditional especially with the beer cheese sauce. My friend let me try her cheese curds, very tasty. Looking forward to getting a drunken burger next time. My favorite beers are Dark Creatures and Mango Wit

Always a fun brewery. Very casual, loads of new brews every time we visit. Lots of outdoor space with Cornhole and table tennis!

Great beer. Great local brews. We drank everything they had. And nearly all of it was great.

Great outdoor area for enjoying some fine cold brews. Tropical uprising is spot on delish.

Update: Proof has continued to improve the brewery and it shows. They have also started to can their flagship "850" and it will be available in select stores soon. Looking forward to continued great beer and service to the community!

They have done a very good job of opening this new location. Ample seating, large bar, and seating outside for small and large parties. Entertainment too! Cornhole, outdoor table tennis. Inside you have table top soccer, air hockey and a REALLY large TV screen. I would come here again.

If you enjoy craft beer and appreciate the outdoors then Proof is a MUST see. Great brewery even without the food (but food truck is available).

So far so good. I attended the soft opening and, while the place was crowded, had a great time. The bar is huge, so waiting for a beer didn't take too long, and the bar being accessible from the porch helped.

Proper Food had a limited menu. The Buffalo Mango Wit (double fried) wings and fries were good. The food was delivered quickly. I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu.

Came in on Saturday night for the first time and this place got it all! Super clean, great atmosphere, games, outdoors with artificial grass and a great crowd. I tried their 850 and mango wit beer which were both fantastic.
Unfortunately Someone did manage to accidentally close my tab out and walk away with my CC but the staff was very friendly and did their best to try to find the card. The manager finally explained the situation to us and offered to make things right.

Fun atmosphere with a great local and guest beer selection.

I love this place. Their own brews are very good and have the biggest drink selection in town by far, and the prices are good. It's not as crowded as the other bars can get either.

Every time you turn around to talk the help stole your drink. Whether it was a beer or water. Anyway it was annoying.
And all of the sudden the place stunk like sewage. Not the greatest experience

Awesome selection of onsite produced beer, couple stouts, wiesse, witbier, gose, lager, and IPA. Even have cider. Locatio is great in that there are arts\craft shops in walking distance. Place has an air con, inside and outdoor seating, they do flights for $8. 32/64 oz Growlers and some beers sold in retail,6 packs.

Causal, clean, and everyone is so friendly. Tons of options and delicious food. Try the vegan burger or the drunken burger!

Very rude place! They play loud and horrible music and unnecessarily turn on the heaters to get people out of the place and our dinner was ready 10 minutes before 10 pm, which means we ate the food without enjoying it, we were 8 people, we left very angry and we didn't we will be back

Good pub food. Excellent beers with many varieties. Friendly servers and bartenders. Nice atmosphere.

Even during a pandemic, proof finds a way to get you a beer safely. Whether drive up take out, or walk in and order at the bar. There is also an option of food in the back of the bar with outdoor seating. What is there not to love about it.

It was really great! There was activities to keep you busy (Cornhole and foosball stick out but I think there was more), plenty of seating, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Plus, really, I love their beer. Haven't tried the food yet, but I imagine I will eventually.

Proof is hands down one of the greatest places in Tallahassee to enjoy a cold beer. They have plenty of outdoor seating which is great for when the weather is nice. They have corn-hole, life-size Connect Four and lots of other fun stuff to do. It's also child and dog friendly!

I just love the replies to entitled ~children~ who insist that actual laws be changed for their comfort. I'm sure there is also good beer. Cheers!

I guess we came to visit at the wrong time, just as they were moving. There was no sign of the place, we circled around a few times. There wasn't enough tables inside, and there was no food available, except some hot dogs outside. I liked that they have taster options

A great little beer garden with a huge selection of beers. There are some surprisingly tasty beers offered here! It's nice to see some brews that nail the fruity touches that other beers try to get.

The garden is nice, it has plenty of seating, but I can see how it could get full on a busy weekend. There is a ping pong table, giant connect 4, and the sack throwing game.

All the staff that we interacted with from start to finish were lovely and very helpful.

Tons of open space indoor and out, great place to relax with friends without worrying there won't be a seat for everyone. My only complaint is that they don't offer tastings before you buy your pint. The parking lot can be tough, but there is plenty around a short walk away.

Proof is great. 1 million times better the The Edison.

The environment is modern and open concept, the beer is eh. When it's closing time (10pm on Saturday) they play obnoxiously loud death metal to get everyone to leave promptly. Interesting way to treat your guests

Amazing set up with the "backyard" seating. Always can find a great beer and something new to try. Big fan for a while.

They sell beer, so that's cool. It's also loud, there's television, and usually drunk rich people. They produce a lot of noise pollution within the art park, and create parking problems for adjacent businesses.

Also, their dumpster constantly trickles trash-water across the driveway in a wide swath, making the entire back alley stink.

Such a pleasure to be able to witness the growth of Proof Brewing in Tallahassee. I have seen it grow from both Tennessee street and Railroad Square locations

The soft opening was packed with many Proof patrons of various ages and as always the brews are terrific. The newly added food options were great additions. Fries and quesadillas are a great choice to go along with an 850 or a Mango Wit.
Love the additional space and games including skeeball, foosball and cornhole among others.

Only real negative is that it was wildly packed and hard to find parking due to the sheer amount of people coming to support this terrific group! Hopefully more exterior lighting can be built around the lot in the future to help with finding parking and safely crossing the street.

Definitely looking forward to the grand opening and making this my #1 hot spot to bring visitors to Tallahassee.

WoW.. We came here for a new experience and you guys really did not let us down. The food was perfect, the drinks were worth trying and the passion you guys showed over your beer was so great that we will be back! On our grading scale 1-10:

Just WOW!! Super Clean place you guys have.. Ok so this nice little slice of heaven is a great place to bring your friends and family! Great for couples who want to have a nice drink and watch the game, or a double date with competitive friends as they have a nice gaming area. Come here for a little bit of everything!

Beer is ok, nothing special. Place was busy,; looked like a trendy place. Service was horrible. Bar tenders are rude and entitled; they had no time to answer any questions and tried to finish my sentences before me. My recommendation is to stay away and head to ology or Lake Tribe. You will be treated like a customer there

As the first bar/brewery I ever visited in Tallahassee after I moved here, Proof holds a special place in my heart. It is one of those places to continues to get better and better every time I go there, whether it's a new beer on the menu or the amazing new and improved outdoor biergarten, complete with bean bag toss sets and bocce ball. The bartenders are always kind and welcoming, sweetening the experience of grabbing a good beer here in the evening. Occasionally, Proof offers special events like yoga or art classes. No matter your taste in beer, Proof has the perfect one for you. I look forward to my next visit soon!

The best brewery I ve been to! Always enjoy my weekends at this local brewery and can tell you, they have the best service. You must go.
